Have been before. Under new ownership. They are doing some needed refurbishment. I like the place. Large rooms with all amenities. Decent breakfast. Behind a big Carefour. I did not see real restaurants in the area, but a number of fast food places nearby.

The hotel fulfilled all our needs during our stay

Many antique and vintage clocks, typewriters, lamps. Wonderful breakfast. Super nice staff.

Friendly and helpful staff. Amazing breakfast. Comfy beds. Interesting vintage and antique items all around the hotel.

Business in Novara On business I need a nice room, good wi-fi, easy parking, breakfast and attentive staff. The Bussola provides all these. It's away from the centre of Novara, but for me that's not a drawback. There are restaurants within walking distance. Parking is close by in the street. Breakfast is as expected in Italy. There's no bar but beer and other drinks may be purchased from the reception...

We booked a suite and it was spacious, clean and comfortable. Great location, walkable to station and the plaza. The staff was professional, breakfast had a very good selection. We will stay again when we come back to Novara.

If u need to get to Malpensa the next day and you have already done Milan or want a cheaper alternative, this hotel is ideal. It is located 100 metres from the train station, and that is also where the buses to Malpensa also depart from (every 2 hrs or so for €9). We stayed on ney year's eve to assist to a theatre gala performance in the lovely Novara Theatre. Hotel was centrally located, We could walk to the theatre and visit walking old center . Stayed here for 4 nights solely based on #1 ranking on tripadvisor at the time of booking. Stayed here for a second time (see review) during a business-trip. Still clean with modern and large rooms. The location is perfect when you arrive by Shuttle-Bus from and to airport Milano-Malpensa (45 min) as the bus stop is directly in front of the entrance. This hotel has an old style with rooms decorated with some old standards. Bed are not comfortable at all, as you get into the bed, you fall down into a hop and my back felt it. The room are really noisy when on road side. The service was not so bad but breakfast is very limited in terms of of choice. The parking is located under the hotel but the access is very difficult. Had to check into a hotel last minute. Price offered was reasonable. Room was very comfortable and the staff were very kind and helpful. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for an affordable place to stay while in Novara.

I really enjoyed staying here for 2 nights during my biz trip across Italy. It's not Modern but still very clean. A room is very spacious that I could do my morning workouts. Nice hotel with clean rooms conveniently located in the city center. The windows do not provide good sound insulation but this is not a big problem. Breakfast is good with poppies in number but good products.

Comfortable rooms, gentle receptionist, good restaurant and breakfast. The hotel is very near the centre of Novara and it is simple to find a parking area for your car. Wi-Fi is free. Wide rooms for read and relax. And also great rate.
