Hotels in Portisco

I stayed at Colonna Hotel du Golf and was extremely disappointed. For the €3,000 I paid, I expected much higher standards. My room was not clean, the breakfast buffet was poor and low quality, and several staff members were rude and unhelpful. Overall, the service and facilities did not match the price. I cannot recommend this hotel and believe guests deserve better value for their money. Beautiful...

Nice tradit The food and hotel was lovely . It’s a very clean traditional hotel . We excellent staff . Only down side was the VERY loud evening entertainment. Our room was quite close to it so no early night for us . If they just turned it down it would of been bearable..

The vacation resort offers excellent value for the price point. Staff are very kind, positive and helpful. They helped me book a boat tour. Especially appreciated the music team and Aqua aerobics each day! The family rooms are extremely spacious. Sleeping 4 to 5 with a loft setup and walkin closet. Airco works well. Facilities are aged, but clean. Decor is a bit dated and worn, but plenty of outlets...

It is a small resort in the middle of nowhere, so you really need a car to go to a beach or to a city, as the taxi services are very expensive (90€+ for a single 10 min ride). There is a shuttle going to a single beach twice a day or so, which I have not used. If you try and walk out of the resort, there is nothing to see and it is dangerous to go on the road, there is no sidewalks and people drive...

The hotel complex itself was nice, staff was always happy to help. Downfall was the pool was cold until late afternoon. The lake/sea was warmer. And very limited food options unless you are a fish lover. We only ate here one night, out of 5 due to lack of options. Especially with a kid. Hotel is quite old with a country feel ( rooms are “rustic” but very clean ). Pool area is good with a covered bar and evening my entertainment some evenings ( often one guy singing 80s songs to a backing track).
