I had a great time here for 3 nights. The staff were very helpful. I stayed at the hotel on the corner near bar moderno and its a perfect location. Has everything you need. Very fairly priced too. Buonconveto is a nice town!
Clean room, sweety and helpful reception, location is centre . Bounconventre ‘s sense is safe,peaceful and tiny . For via fragnicera walk lots of people stay in bounventere. My plan became suprisingly when ı wanted to go Val d’orcia. And ı stay here . But ı m happy that ı know this city.

Due to a train strike, we had to completely re-route our planned travel from Florence to Pienza. We ended up stuck in Buonconvento on a Sunday night with no busses and most taxis unavailable. We came to Hotel Ghibellino for help. The person working the front desk found and called over 10 different taxi drivers until she could find one that would take us to our hotel in Pienza. Many were personal numbers...
Convenient for the Via Francigena. Effective aircon. Perfectly adequate breakfast
Everything okay! Only the coffee.... The coffee-service near the reception was poor; the quality of the coffee at breakfast was poor, too
