Amazing place. Looks like Heaven, I believe. Staff goes far beyond our expectations. If it wasn’t that expensive I would have stayed a full week there just to cleanse my mind. I’ll do it soon, God permitting. What an amazing experience.

There aren’t enough stars to get this hotel. It is top-notch. We enjoyed our long weekend and the wedding so much. It was truly a magical weekend and cannot thank the staff enough for making it so memorable.

We had a reservation for drinks at the lobby bar, but getting there was quite an unpleasant surprise. The road leading to the hotel is, to say the least, in very poor condition — full of holes and truly not what you would expect for a property of this level. The environment is very good and unique, but the truffle digging activity is a scam. I suspect it was pre-set. The front desk is likely to overcharge. You must check the bill. But the hotel is very unique and the room is comfortable. The service is a bit of a scam.

My husband and I stayed at this beautiful location for our honeymoon this week! The service was outstanding, the staff was so kind and attentive, and the amenities were first class. The thermal pool was wonderful. The executive chef and sommelier were extremely knowledgeable and friendly! We did a wine tasting and were very pleased! We will definitely be coming here again.

I was looking for a quiet, restful getaway and we got exactly this at Castello Di Velona. The location is rural and overlooked a gorgeous view of Tuscany on all sides. Stable, safe and hygienic, the staff has a good attitude

The location wasn't a big problem because I rented it. It's located on a hillside, so the air is good and it's quiet. The room was a bit small for 3 people in a 2-person room, but there was an outdoor terrace, so we ate simple food outside. The breakfast was simple, European-style, but edible. I had a comfortable 2-night stay.

There’s nothing much nearby. Toilet is very nice with window facing the pool, somehow it’s the highlight for me because it’s cozy and feel like home. The pool is nice! Restaurant is nice and cozy, food is good. Staff isn’t very warm but acceptable.

We had a lovely stay. Room was clean. Breakfast was enough to get you going for the day. Walking distance to several restaurants. Having access to parking was a plus.

We have had an apartment on the very top of the house with beautiful views from the balcony both to the old town an castle. You can make a nice dinner there with the views. Comfy bed and everything you need for the stay.

When we came, it was little hard to understand, what to do. There is no reception, but when I called there service was really friendly. The keys waited in our door! Breakfast was fantastic! We had a beautiful and delicious wine tour and lunch. Aldo was an incredible host, teaching us about the wine process and delicious food. One of the best places we stayed for one night , the host (owner and chef) was very friendly and the food he cooked was amazing - one of the best meals we had in the 3 weeks we stayed in Italy. Just a few minutes' drive from Montalcino, far from the center and secluded in nature, for a totally relaxing stay. The apartment is equipped with everything you need, including a delicious breakfast. The receptionist and hostess are extremely friendly. Ample parking is available next to the apartments.

The room is in third floor without elevator and it is difficult for any seniors with a luggage. The room was cluttered with too many old things. Very small shower stall but it functions well. Heating works well. Very efficient and kind communications. Nice old kitchen in the second floor but we didn’t use it.

She organized visits to local wineries, not the large industrial ones, but small farms with excellent wine and delicius food.
