We loved how amazingly we were treated as guests, such great service, and not to mention the amazing food :) The hotel has a great style. Not to forget the garden, you can eat outside also on cooler nights. Also great - the heated pool. We stayed during our honeymoon and it was our favorite place to stay! Thank you!

Staff were excellent, the pool divine and the food was incredible. You are made to feel at home, the coffee is on tap, the cakes (you can help yourself) is such a nice touch too and really delicious. Really enjoyed the little touches like the robes and flip flops in the bedrooms and meeting all the staff who learnt our names. Lots to do in the area, we drove to the beach and walked to nearby resaruants...

Best experience we had during a 10 day trip to Tuscany. The host, Ricardo, is extremely welcoming, generous and provided lots of tips for the area. One of my all time favorites in Italy. Great accommodations. Extremely tasteful interior, delicious food and excellent service. Our dachshund enjoyed the stay as well. Oh and Ricardo is just the perfect host.

We had a great dinner here for a family special occasion. Well worth a visit if you are in the area.

Plenty of room for our group of 8 people. Downstairs is wonderful divided in dining and sitting room with additional extra rooms for more cosines. The kitchen has its extra table and is fantastic for early coffee and in between drinks. Most time we spent outdoors next to the pool or the breakfast / party area. Upstears are the sleeping rooms. These are cosy and have all there own bathroom and toilet...

Claudia was really hospitable and helpful with recommendations of places to eat (do not miss the il Fondaccio restsurant), to visit in the area, and directions. The house is beautiful and clean, and we enjoyed our breakfast, and the time at the pool.

Beautiful hotel, such a wonderful day, felt like we were staying in Mary Antoinette's house! Lovely infinity style pool, so peaceful up in the mountains. We were welcomed so graciously, would highly recommend, we only stayed one night which was a shame we felt so at home. It's a must see place and the breakfast was lovely!!! Thank you

The host was very accommodating and friendly. I showed up without a reservation due to some unexpected plan changes. He set up a room for me quickly and gave me great advice on where to find a bite to eat. The room was great and the scenery was stunning. In the morning, the breakfast spread was terrific! Absolutely would recommend.

Lovely B&B with rustical villa flair with breathtaking view on the moutains. Hosts a really nice, helpful and also offered us welcome drinks. Rooms on the ground floor are a bit dark but this means also they are quiet cool which is really nice during hot summer months. Pool is a big bonus. Good Location if you have planed to explore Viareggio area.

It is quite a remote place, but the view over the city and sea is amazing and only surpassed by the food, which is super (even for a vegetarian like me) Too bad Italians are quite insensitive to northern European standards, so expect people smoking and loudly playing Candy crush on the beautiful terrace. The apartments are clean and renovated.The pool is also super cleand and nice. The rooms are big and every apartment has an own terracy. The stuff is also super friendly. You reach the beach in 8mins by car and Lucca and Pisa in 30mins by car.

From the moment we drove up the hill and we saw the beautiful villa we fell in love with her. The old lady is renovated but still kept her charm. Our room was small but everything was there and we only stayed in our room to sleep and shower. A hidden treasure we found while cycling in the area. The places carries a wonderful and calming energy. The owner welcomed us and was just so friendly during our entire stay. Beautifully located villa with great pool, terrace and garden. Amazing sunset view with the sea at the horizon. Giacomo and his mother tried everything to make our time as relaxing as possible. Very good breakfast and many lunch options. Also perfect vacation for our dog!

We stayed at Villa Montebello last September 2019 and had a wonderful time. Thomas, Marta and Anna were wonderful. We were headed back when the Covid-19 hit. We will return when EU allows. Miss our friends. All the best from Galveston Island Texas.
