What a nice place and great location, perfect staff, fresh pool and very nice place. Also located on a perfect spot in Tuscany. We stayed with 7 persons and had a great week. It was a bit hidden when we traveled in the first day but that on the other hand also gives a silent place in the city center

Awesome pool, lots of space in garden to relax and very pretty to look at. Kitchen was top, staff were great and location was perfect for a relaxing stay in Greve.

We stayed in one of the suites, the Il Burrato. It was traditional in keeping with the antico property. Had basic cooking facilities and a fridge. Direct access to the garden and pool and a table outside. We were a group of 9 which meant we had 5 bedrooms and each bedroom and it's own bathroom which made it really nice. We all shared the kitchen which worked out nicely for all of us. We created so many great meals and enjoyed them outside on the patio over looking the most incredible scenery. Every morning my sister and I took a short walk into town and enjoyed the cute shops and a cup of cappuccino

Lovely quiet hotel with pool and grounds, located 2mins from Greve piazza. We stayed here for two nights whilst attending a wedding, and was more than adequate for our stay, hosts were very nice, rooms clean, however bear in mind, this is room only, so you will need to stock up on supplies from shops or restaurants which are a stone throw away. Great vineyards in the area, and would definitely recommend

I absolutely recommend this place to stay. My wife and I didn’t have much time to enjoy the estate, but it would have been so nice if we had a few more days to stay and enjoy every single part of this place. This was our second stay here. The service is excellent, staff are so friendly and the room was spotless with a stunning view at breakfast sitting outside. Nice little spread for breakfast.

I had an amazing experience staying here for my birthday and received excellent service during my entire stay from the entire staff. They were friendly, helpful and accommodating. I was lucky to get upgraded last minute due to a cancellation and it was a great experience. Highly recommended!

This inn is ideal for the traveler seeking a beautiful hilltop location in the heart of Chianti Country. Breakfast was excellent and the sister hotel nearby has a wonderful restaurant as well. The town of Greve is at the bottom of the hill, and there are numerous excellent wineries close by. Highly recommend this for someone wanting the perfect Tuscan wine country experience.

We had a wonderful four day stay. Service is attentive, amenities are great, the property gardens were beautiful and the surrounding views breathtaking! I am already planning my next trip!

This is a castle built on the top of a hill in the 12th century, so the architecture is stunning. The building itself has been updated so all the comforts of modern life are present. On premise winery offers great tours and wine. The on premise included breakfast was excellent. Parking was free and easy. Fantastic place! We hope to return with a big group of friends soon.

The view is amazing, very perfectly located if you want the Tuscan vibe. Amazing staff and the interior is a dream. We had the junior suite and it even had a tv room. I recommend taking the hotel dinner, it’s delicious and very well priced !

STAY HERE if you’re going to Chianti, it was a dream! We spent a LOT of time vetting different hotels, resorts and B and Bs throughout all of Chianti and were so glad we found the Casolese at Vignamaggio. The rooms were very nice, clean and comfortable. I love the rustic nature and how the management has been able to maintain the 14th century buildings. The products in the shop were fantastic. The only minus is that we wanted the massage with oil but this was not available. The breakfast was very good with lots of varieties to choose from.

My fiance and I visited Vignamaggio to celebrate our engagement, and it was absolutely magical. The property and its views are breathtaking. The staff is incredibly friendly, especially Davide, who was so kind and helpful and took extra care in making sure we had everything we needed. And don't even get me started on the food- some of the best meals we had in Italy. We definitely plan to be back!

Simonetta was super helpful as was Kallie. We felt like part of a family. They were helpful with where to go and what to do. We took the cooking class. It was so fun! I recommend it highly. The only drawback is how far it is from everything. I do recommend it highly though.

Great place to stay in the middle of Chianti. The hosts were super friendly and cosy environment. The breakfast was great. Nice swimming pool to chill. Local wine and other goods that handmade by the owner. The room a bit smaller and the bed was not so comfortable but in overall we are recommended

Beautiful spot. Delicious breakfasts of local produce, eaten outside in nice surroundings overlooking the vineyard. Very pleasant hosts. Swimming pool area is crisp and has great views: we often had it to ourselves. Wonderful place to relax and to use as a base for exploring.

I arrived late after missing my train. The owner and his partner helped me immensely trying to figure out my next moves to get to where I needed to go the next day. Truly, they both were so kind and helpful and went above and beyond. The hotel is lovely, quaint, and clean. Breakfast was incredible. Thank you to the folks here. We came across this restaurant very last minute and managed to get a booking on a Sunday evening. Our overnight stay here was great. Upon arriving we were asked if we wanted to dine in the restaurant that night and reserved us a spot (the food was delicious so highly recommend). The accommodation was spacious and had everything we needed plus the bed was comfy. I would definitely stay here again.

In Chiocchio about 10 minutes north of central Greve. The hotel is better than advertised. The owner is extremely helpful and accommodating who had the room set at a comfortable temperaturedue to the cooler weather. Lots of parking across the street. Comfortable bed, roomy bathroom, nice private outside balcony facing back of nicely landscaped greenery.

You get what you pay for. You can smell that it is musty and dated. Some weird yellow caking in the bathroom. Think of it like an average air bnb. Amazing location right in the main square for restaurants and shops. You’re not going to get the beautiful Tuscan view, but very convenient.
