Locanda Il Gallo in Greve in Chianti

I arrived late after missing my train. The owner and his partner helped me immensely trying to figure out my next moves to get to where I needed to go the next day. Truly, they both were so kind and helpful and went above and beyond.

The hotel is lovely, quaint, and clean. Breakfast was incredible. Thank you to the folks here. I would highly recommend staying at this establishment.

We came across this restaurant very last minute and managed to get a booking on a Sunday evening. The host was extremely welcoming and his knowledge of everything from the different wines to pair with the different foods to the meats they served was just fabulous! He couldn’t do enough for us and made sure we were enjoying our evening. I had the veal which was beautifully cooked and the rest of the family massively enjoyed the duck in orange sauce. Highly recommend this place! We will be retuning for sure! Thank you for your hospitality!

Our overnight stay here was great. Upon arriving we were asked if we wanted to dine in the restaurant that night and reserved us a spot (the food was delicious so highly recommend). The accommodation was spacious and had everything we needed plus the bed was comfy.
I would definitely stay here again.

In Chiocchio about 10 minutes north of central Greve. The hotel is better than advertised. The owner is extremely helpful and accommodating who had the room set at a comfortable temperaturedue to the cooler weather. Lots of parking across the street. Comfortable bed, roomy bathroom, nice private outside balcony facing back of nicely landscaped greenery.

Francesco, he was friendly and caring everything. He prepared breakfast even before 9am because i had to leave to the airport. Very quiet places with view of vineyard.

The property owner was very helpful explaining wineries location and local food! The in-house restaurant was excellent and convenient!

first of all the host is the best that can be!!! so friendly and informative and smiley and worm, he just makes this place feel perfect, also the room was very clean and comfortable and the balcony really relaxing and beautiful, this place feels really quiet and inviting, the restaurant in the place is also amazing!!!

Fantastic place!!!! Cozy Hotel, with attendance informal. WONDERFUL restaurant. The best two meals that we made during a month of travel in Europe. Fábio (I imagine that is the owner) is extremely hospitable and the staff fantastic.
I found the hotel close to the 21:30 after a full day traveling through Tuscany. We were very well received (I and my wife). We had dinner on site and we had a pleasant surprise. The next day we woke up outside of time and "lose your breakfast". When we were leaving the hotel, around noon, we were called by Fabio that he had prepared something special for us to eat. Realizing that we were extremely interested in Tuscan cooking, it started to offer us all that only we find in the region stick to experiment. Before we left, and gave great tips of where to go. We were amazed with the place and with this citizen. I recommend without reservation!

Nice room with balcony and view over Tuscan countryside. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Restaurant was very nice also.
