The hotel is a bit out of the way, about a 2000 JPY taxi ride from Gifu city center.
The rooms are spacious, with large bathrooms, walk-in closets, and big beds. Although a bit old, it's clean and suitable for families.
Service was just okay; we had to go to the front desk ourselves to get an extra bottle of water.

Very clean, good facilities and the massage was not expensive and really good as well. All facilities were included. So we had a good time :) definitely recommend this place.
Strategic location. Value for money. The only minus is kids unable to use the pool service.
The hotel is very big with the very reasonable price. However, the hotel don’t have ONsen and the staff could not communicate in English. The were trying to help but it took time. The city is very big. We like Masa21 mall nearby the hotel where you can go for dinner and shopping.
The Room was spacious and there was a good selection for breakfast!

Absolutely great value for money! The hostel's location is superb, the service is excellent, it has a rich history, and the hot springs are definitely worth a soak.

The hotel upgraded my room, and I got to see the Nagara River, which was absolutely wonderful. There was a lovely old lady who spoke Chinese and helped us with charming guidance and service. Excellent hospitality from the hotel staff. The room is clean and feels newly renovated. Location is right next to the Cormorant Fishing Observation Boat Waiting Area. And there are couples of restaurants nearby.
