3 star hotels in Gifu

Lovely hotel, very near MRT station and McDonalds, family mart. Room is clean and big enough to accommodate 3 double size beds, clean and crisp bed sheets with pj and socks provided. I personally love the massage chair in our room. That gives a relaxing touch after daily long walk. Staff are kind and approachable. Service are good i will definitely book in this hotel chain. Keep it up!

Such an excellent hotel in terms of location and even room layout and space. It fit 2 comfortably (but we’re asian so we can only speak for ourselves) and even gave us space to open our luggages and have an area to chill at. Super convenient and so close to the station, getting around was never an issue! My husband fell sick on Day 2 of us being in Gifu so that konbini attached to the hotel was a real...

Hotel is a few minutes walk from the train station. Hotel is clean and has a convenience store at the lobby of hotel. Rooms are quiet for a good nights rest. I enjoyed my stay, and would stay with them again in my next visit. Thank you to the friendly staff.

The location is near the train station , convivence store and McDonald are nearby. The staff and the service is good. The environment is good too.

I wasn't expecting much but oh boy, when I opened the door and saw the message chair, it made my life so much better as I needed an instant message. Of course, the staff are great as usual. Even the car attendees were great and showed us how our car was in the car elevator and waited for us to take some video 😂

The only downside about the hotel is that it does not provide the osen service. Other than that we are rather OL with the hotel.

Very nice hotel . Convenient , close to station: restaurant around .

The room is clean but it stunk. There’s no hair dryer. But the food is great though

The room is a bit small Have difficulty in opening luggages  Otherwise staffs are friendly and room is clean

the smallest room i stay during my Japan trip, but the breakfast really nice and all the senior waiter & waitress are professional and friendly.

good - near to the JR train station - service is very good and room is very cost effective.

An old hotel with 1980’s furnishing but well-maintained and relatively clean. Location wise is quite a long walk from Gifu station. Short stay for business visits or layover during long travel if the room rate is low, otherwise go for newer hotels nearer to the Gifu station.

There’s a sky walk link from JR station to hotel, extremely convenient & easy to walk. 1 hot 1 cold indoor pool, 1 outdoor. 1 sauna 👍🏼 free ice cream & supper

Dormy inn at Gifu is located at a central location. If you take the overhead bridge, it’s a much shorter walk (7 mins) to Gifu train station. The hotel is prominently located so it’s hard to miss despite a short 10 mins walk if you walk along the roads. Eateries every where near the train station too. The room has a warm ambiance and is clean and comfortable (with exception of the pillow maybe too...

🏨 Hotel Overview and Check-In The main Check-in desk is located on Level 6. This level functions as the hotel's central hub, as it also houses the restaurant, the Onsen (hot spring bath - indoor, sheltered outdoor), and the Relaxation Room. 🚗 Parking and Access The hotel offers convenient, on-site parking right next door for ¥1,000 per day. Access Note: The car park is connected directly to the...

Dormy inns are super nice, this one is no different. It's s very short walk from the train station and it is very clean. The price is great too. Suited all of my needs as a solo traveler.

The bath is amazing and the room is comfortable. Would definitely come again if I am to visit Gifu again.

Chain quality, unbeatable location. Directly connected to JR Gifu, super convenient. Reasonably priced.

Although it's old, it's been very carefully cleaned, the rooms are spacious with an old-fashioned Japanese-style feel, and considering the hotel's location, it seems like a good value for money. One drawback, and this isn't limited to this hotel, is that there aren't any convenience stores nearby, which is a bit inconvenient.

The front desk and welcoming staff were also excellent. I went to support the soccer team, and the hotel had a restaurant at the stadium, and they provided details like taxi reservations and other information. The food was delicious. The hotel facilities were also excellent. I would love to stay there again.

When I asked the receptionist about sightseeing spots in the area, they kindly gave me some advice. Breakfast was included, and it was reasonably priced with a wide variety of options. The hotel staff's smart service was very pleasant!

It was a twin room, but it was clean and spacious. It was a shame the view wasn't great. The large communal bath was very comfortable.

The free parking lot is large enough that there are spaces available even during the Obon holidays. The breakfast buffet was also delicious, so I would definitely stay here again if I have the opportunity!

Good variety at breakfast and the view at breakfast room was beautiful. Free parking facility is next to the hotel, no shelter walkway but able to accommodate many cars. Room was clean and big and had all essentials. Unfortunately did not get to try the onsen but i'm sure it would have been nice.

The location is good to reach easily the JR and Meitetsu station, also close to the main city and highway bus stops. Very close to Gifu City 43 (with observatory deck). It is just around what used to be the covered clothing shopping district, which is now mostly empty and run down. The district is seeing progressive renovations. There are plenty of restaurants around, but for more affordable places...

Stayed for 4 nights at the Hotel Gifu Grand last December. Our room had a direct view of Gifu Castle. The breakfast was incredibly lavish, offering not just local sake but also high-quality dishes like cold-cut Hida beef steak and crab legs. They even had a self-service Hida Takayama ramen station, which I happily indulged in every morning 🍜. Highly recommend!

Dated but comfortable room. Close proximity to the train station and highway bus station, with food options nearby. Room is spacious and amenities are sufficient.

Two biggest advantages are location a few minutes from the JR station and breakfast. Although a bit pricey, the breakfast features a stunning choice of local products and even crab (maybe depending on the season). We also liked Shirakawa black tea, desserts (even donuts were delicious), croquets and so on. The view was also amazing, with Gifu castle and the mountain range.

Location was perfect. Overall good.

Very spacious room. Its outdated, however it's reasonably priced and in close proximity to public transport.

It's very close to both Kintetsu and JR stations, located next to a shopping street. However, when turning in, there was a group of people at the intersection who didn't look very nice (or maybe they were there that day and gone the next morning), so we took a detour afterwards. It felt like an older hotel. The staff at the front desk were friendly and even recommended good food, making for a very...

The hotel had a banquet hall and was a fairly large establishment rather than a business hotel. The woman at the front desk was very friendly and made a good impression. She also gave me advice on nearby tourist spots. The room had wood-like floors that felt nice underfoot. The hotel was old overall, but was kept clean.

This is an old facility which needs updating of infrastructure. WiFi extremely slow and gets cut off all the time.

Hotel is hidden behind a small lane. GPS doesn't work. It will be nice if the Information on how to get to the hotel is advised.

I was able to relax. There was a space to take off my shoes as I entered the door, and I was able to change into slippers and relax. I was able to stretch my legs out in the bathtub, so I was able to bathe comfortably even though there wasn't a large communal bath. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, so the location is good. When I previously booked directly, parking was free, but this time I had...

All the staff members were very friendly. The building is old but clean. It's convenient for sightseeing spots like Gifu Park and Minatomachi. There was a group of foreigners on the same day, and they seemed to be having trouble because the English signs were too small. The hotel should really be better prepared for international guests. It was a shame that there was no water dispenser in the changing...

Enjoyed the onsen and dinner. Service staff very friendly and attentive.

This is a classic resort hotel. The facilities are a bit dated but well-maintained, and the in-room dining was excellent. However, when the previous guest checked in, they were enthusiastically shown a selection of yukata and given size recommendations. For me, they just pointed to the spot and told me to get one myself. It's not a big deal, but I couldn't help but feel a bit singled out...

A family of four paid over 2800 RMB. This room was extremely poor value for money. It was quite small, and the bathroom and toilet were separate, each less than 1 square meter. It was hard to even turn around in them. You'd be better off staying at a 1000 RMB hotel in the city center. We were assigned a room on the second floor with no view, overlooking a small park and a construction site. We couldn...

Hotel is a bit old property but well cleaned.

I was a bit guarded when I approached the hotel, and it looks old from the outside with old carpet on the corridor but I was totally wrong when I saw my room. The room was recently renovated and I can even smell the new carpet. The room was really big and with modern design. Beds are new and very comfortable. Staff are very friendly and the concierge was super helpful. The onsen needles to say was...

The room was exceptionally clean, and there's a knob by the bed to adjust the overhead light. It's also only about 200 meters from the JR station.

Has a microwave, which is nice.

The room was cool but rather met the ants that appeared for the first time during a trip to Japan I don't know where it came from I opened the window and the employee said it came from outside and the employee's handling of it was to catch instead of changing rooms The hotel is about 7 minutes walk from Gifu Station with family mart downstairs

Overall satisfactory and comfortable. A suggestion: Could be nearly perfect if a bit more flexible towards customer's minor requests.

The rooms in this hotel are very clean and tidy, the beds are soft and comfortable, and the facilities are complete, giving people a warm home feeling. The service attitude is friendly and the environment is quiet, suitable for rest. Overall, it is a very cost-effective accommodation option.

very very dirty, i don’t recommend. the check im and check out was easy. i ise the laundry and was easy to use .

Just opposite the JR Gifu station, near by has a convenient store (family mart), a few ramen places and a lot of eateries. Super easy to access and non stressful stay. They also give out free amenities such as cleansers, lotions etc.. recomend for all travelers.

Its very near the station, and elevator is available at the back of building, check in was smooth though and its understandable, had very nice rest and great experience overall

That was a great Hotel with cleanliness, very good location and easy to find. If I visit Gifu again I will stay at the Hotel for sure.

Strategic location, quick check in and out, surounding by gifu station and other convenience resto and mart. Petite room, but clean. Hot water and wifi available.

When I went back to book a room, booking conditions had randomly changed to 14 days in advance. They don't like foreigners, I guess? How usual.

If you speak the language, the service certainly improves here. But it's otherwise the typical lebensraum

It was a retro hotel, but it seemed like they were making some effort to make it more comfortable.

It takes more than 15 minutes to walk from the station and the location is a little difficult to find, but it's fine if you're just staying overnight.

The room was small, the decor was old, the curtains were tattered and had holes, and the wiring was messy. However, the staff were welcoming and patiently explained everything to the guests!

The hotel rooms are not very nice for a city hotel, but the interior and exterior are very old. The front desk service is good, there is free parking, and there are no special shopping areas or restaurants nearby.

It’s good to have a free parking space, you are allowed to park before check in and after check out

Overall is good I would recommended. I would repurchase for future revisit.

Decent. Clean and tidy. Breakfast included. Convenient location.

Liked the location. It is near to gifu station. Also near to shopping malls with a lot of food options available.

Hotel near to Gifu station just few walk. New modern building Exterior. Lobby at 3rd floor with eating place A bit old fashion style. Room is larger than expect. Bath room has small bathtub with well equipment.Kettle is old style. Pajama too. Breakfast 6.30 -9.30 vary of food stadard bread with japanese style food Salad.Scramble egg is creamy must try.

Location, location, location. Excellent location. Great stay

A comfortable shelter. The buffet breakfast is good and meet the needs of a travelers.

Hotel is very near to JR station Room is of good size, bed is a little small for couple Hotel staffs very friendly Breakfast is yummy!

It was a nice place I stayed an year ago. Rooms were very clean, breakfasts were incredible. Staff were very nice and helped with everything! Highly recommend

A very satisfying accommodation experience. The staff are of high quality and the service is in place. Although the hotel has a certain history, it is well maintained in all aspects and the environment is clean and hygienic. The breakfast is rich in variety and delicious, and the room design is reasonable. I will recommend it to friends and stay here again next time.

We stayed overnight as the hotel was the venue for the general meeting. The rooms were clean and the building was old, but I think it's a good hotel. The breakfast in the observation restaurant was also good.

The room was clean and it was convenient to eat around.

I stayed here without meals. I had no complaints about the facilities, but I was planning to buy breakfast at a convenience store, so it was inconvenient that there wasn't one near the hotel.

It's probably because there are few people living there, and the room has a musty smell. Turning on the purifier didn't make much of an improvement.

I am so grateful for the wonderful staff here! They helped me contact the bus company to recover a backpack I left behind. Their kindness and quick action saved my trip. Highly recommended!

A true Jap traditional experience. Onsen is proper and everything provided. The water is not too hot and we dipped in the mineral onsen too. Tatami room is quite an experience and its spacious. Toliet is great and clean. View by the river is amazing. Bonus : facing Gifu castle. Spot it on the hills.

Beautiful, large and well lit rooms. Super clean hotel with amazing food and very friendly and professional staff. The hotel rooms were great, with a touch of Japanese charm and all the comforts needed for a good rest. The staff were very kind and helpful during my stay. The hotel location is very convenient, close to Gifu Castle and other attractions. After a day of sightseeing, it was great to return...

朝食後午前９時半過ぎに大浴場に入りに行ったら掃除中にもかかわらずスタッフの女の方が気を使って下さってごゆっくりお入り下さいって言って下さったのが嬉しかったです。

Beautiful, large and well lit rooms. Super clean hotel with amazing food and very friendly and professional staff.

This was a nice place to relax on my birthday. I enjoyed the onsen bath they have that can be used by people that are not staying at the hotel. The cost was 1000 yen. It was so nice to have the whole bath to myself. The hotel staff were very nice and helpful. Great place by the river.

The hotel is conveniently located. A big Lawson is within walking distance. The kaiseki dinner is a pleasant surprise! The dinner is nicely presented & ingredients fresh! Our room faces the river and the scenery from our window very beautiful! The onsen is clean & makes you feel relaxed!

I think the quality for this price is amazing. The dinner was also very creative, and I really got a feel for the best of Gifu.

We made a last-minute dinner reservation, but they handled it courteously. I was also pleased that they quickly addressed the mistake I made when I made my reservation. From the hotel's bath floor, I could see the Nagara River right in front of me, and I was amazed by the beautiful view. The bathroom in our room was also lovely. Dinner was good, but breakfast was also excellent, and it got me excited...

Thank you. The service was great!

The room was very clean and tidy. The food was also delicious and I really enjoyed it.

Both the building and the room were new, clean, and comfortable. There was also a large public bath on the 8th floor, with a spectacular view of Mt. Kinka. I would definitely stay here again.
