Lovely hotel, very near MRT station and McDonalds, family mart. Room is clean and big enough to accommodate 3 double size beds, clean and crisp bed sheets with pj and socks provided. I personally love the massage chair in our room. That gives a relaxing touch after daily long walk. Staff are kind and approachable. Service are good i will definitely book in this hotel chain. Hotel is a few minutes walk from the train station. Hotel is clean and has a convenience store at the lobby of hotel. Rooms are quiet for a good nights rest. I enjoyed my stay, and would stay with them again in my next visit. Thank you to the friendly staff.

I wasn't expecting much but oh boy, when I opened the door and saw the message chair, it made my life so much better as I needed an instant message. Of course, the staff are great as usual. Even the car attendees were great and showed us how our car was in the car elevator and waited for us to take some video 😂

The only downside about the hotel is that it does not provide the osen service. Other than that we are rather OL with the hotel.

Dormy inns are super nice, this one is no different. It's s very short walk from the train station and it is very clean. The price is great too. Suited all of my needs as a solo traveler.

The bath is amazing and the room is comfortable. Would definitely come again if I am to visit Gifu again.

Just opposite the JR Gifu station, near by has a convenient store (family mart), a few ramen places and a lot of eateries. Super easy to access and non stressful stay. They also give out free amenities such as cleansers, lotions etc.. recomend for all travelers.

The location is good to reach easily the JR and Meitetsu station, also close to the main city and highway bus stops. Very close to Gifu City 43 (with observatory deck). Stayed for 4 nights at the Hotel Gifu Grand last December. Our room had a direct view of Gifu Castle. The breakfast was incredibly lavish, offering not just local sake but also high-quality dishes like cold-cut Hida beef steak and crab legs. They even had a self-service Hida Takayama ramen station, which I happily indulged in every morning 🍜. Highly recommend!

Two biggest advantages are location a few minutes from the JR station and breakfast. Although a bit pricey, the breakfast features a stunning choice of local products and even crab (maybe depending on the season). We also liked Shirakawa black tea, desserts (even donuts were delicious), croquets and so on. The view was also amazing, with Gifu castle and the mountain range.

An old hotel with 1980’s furnishing but well-maintained and relatively clean. Location wise is quite a long walk from Gifu station. Short stay for business visits or layover during long travel if the room rate is low, otherwise go for newer hotels nearer to the Gifu station.

A true Jap traditional experience. Onsen is proper and everything provided. The water is not too hot and we dipped in the mineral onsen too. Tatami room is quite an experience and its spacious. Toliet is great and clean. View by the river is amazing. Bonus : facing Gifu castle. Spot it on the hills.

This was a nice place to relax on my birthday. I enjoyed the onsen bath they have that can be used by people that are not staying at the hotel. The cost was 1000 yen. It was so nice to have the whole bath to myself. The hotel staff were very nice and helpful. Great place by the river.

Although it's old, it's been very carefully cleaned, the rooms are spacious with an old-fashioned Japanese-style feel, and considering the hotel's location, it seems like a good value for money. One drawback, and this isn't limited to this hotel, is that there aren't any convenience stores nearby, which is a bit inconvenient.
