Its nice and clean and accomodating

Just a short walk from the South exit of the Shinkansen station passing through the drop off point and Hotel Nikko Himeji. There is a 7-11 just opposite the hotel. Staff are nice and courteous. The only minus point is that check out time is 10:00 am which is a bit early as compare to hotels in other countries.

Excellent location, we were able to find the hotel even we arrive at night, 5min walk from railway station Only problem is the light shading curtain is not good, easy to allow sun light to shine into the room, wake me up at 7am

Location is really close to train station which I like. Lots of food options around. Himeji castle is a 20 minute walk but you can opt to take a bus if you have walking issues. The bathroom and toilet is separated. Towels and amenities such as soap, shampoo, toothbrush, and moisturizing lotion are provided. To be honest we didn't know how to operate the bath pool/jacuzzi, but it was already full when...

Hotel was clean and super close to the station. Himeji Castle reachable by foot. Staff was kind and keen to help, we really felt welcome here. Room was small (as everywhere in Japan) but clean and provided with all the amenities needed! We would absolutely recommend this place! PS: They also have a cool onsen with a sauna and an outdoor bath!

Good service, friendly staff who spoke English really well. They have a hot tub, onsen, on top level. I paid 150 yen to use the onsen and didn’t have to pay the local tax.

Himeji Green Hotel Tatemachi

There was no problem except for the towel fee for consecutive nights.

It's close to the station and there are plenty of restaurants in the area. The facilities are a little old, but they are clean. A good hotel for the price.

As someone else has mentioned, the facilities seem old. The card key doesn't seem to have good contact, so I had to try multiple times before it would work. The shower curtain in the room's bathroom was unusually short, so water splashed everywhere and it smelled a bit like a rag. It's fairly close to the station and easy to find, and there's a convenience store nearby, so it's convenient.

One of the receptionists speaks French well and we were able to communicate with him without any problem. The spa / sauna area is identical for men and women but is differentiated according to the time: 1 men's slot and 1 women's slot in the morning and evening. Himeji Castle to visit

Hotel Aston Plaza Himeji

I stayed at this lovely Japanese-style hotel for 2 nights and had a fantastic experience. The place is spotless, very clean and well-maintained, and definitely family-friendly. One of the highlights was their impressive selection of kimono rentals, it added such a special touch to the trip!

Rooms are small by western standards but perfect for a one night stay in the area.

When you're in your room, you can hear noises from the hallway. When you're in the hallway, you can hear the sound of someone watching a video somewhere. I think it depends on the guest that day, but when I was there it was quiet at night.

There was a large public bath, and I didn't get bored even though I stayed for three nights.

We were able to accommodate an early morning check-out.

The breakfast side dishes were very few

O Hotel Takasago

It's located right near Takasago Station, so if you're coming by car, you'll need to reserve a parking space. It's reasonably priced, and the rooms are generally clean, but the linoleum floors might be a matter of personal preference. (I prefer carpet because I like to be barefoot.) If you don't want cleaning, you'll get instant noodles and a drink!

Foods are limited but decent. Available till 9AM. Staffs are courteous. Access to bathroom is very narrow. Bathroom is small. It is bigger disadvantage. Shaving foam will not be provided. Drinks are complimentary and it can be accessed till 10 pm. Cycles are available for rent. 200 yen per day. One pillow and one towel are given. Additional items are to be requested. It is located backside of the Takasago...

Good one to stay in Takadago. Room is small and a bit costly but overally it is clean and organized.

Has the perfect sunrise view. 😍

room is great, location alsocvery near to station, about 3-5mins walk. Eventhough i booked a twins-room, extra pay of 2k yen per night is needed when 2nd person is to sleep there which i find weird

The staff was very friendly and professional. The Hotel had a good location.

I arrived late, so there was no one at the front desk, and they confirmed my reservation in advance. Although there was no mention of it in the email, I managed to get in using the phone number that was given to the front desk. Once the payment was confirmed, there should have been various ways to contact them with the password, etc. I have never stayed at a hotel of this level before.

It’s so affordable and clean. The locatikn is near himeji station so accessable. Really recommended for just business trip or holiday.

Himeji Green Hotel Sakamoto

Without a reservation from Himeji station, the male staff was gracious and cool and gave me an excellent room at 11pm. The room was modern and the bed was so soft I overslept! Late checkout fees were extremely reasonable.

This hotel was just great! I had a that allows smoking. The view I had was perfect! It was very close to other restaurants and the Himeji Castle. The Himeji castle is maybe about 10-15 minute walk. The restaurant that I went to was called "隠れ家和食さくら姫路本店" [Kakurega washoku sakura Himeji honten]. It was my first Izakaya! It's close by and I recommend going if you have the time.

The room is a little small. There are both public large bath/sauna and private bath. It suits for simple stayment.

Nice room, clean and quiet. Close to railway station, about 7 minutes walk. Also close to the castle, about 10-15 minutes walk.

Clean. Business hotel. close to the train station. has a good common jacuzi area with a nice view. has a breakfast area as well. lot of restaurants around.

This inn is full of charm! We loved it. The hosts were lovely and generous. If you have any dietary restrictions (my husband is vegetarian) they are more than happy to accommodate which was unusual on our trip. The food was delicious. We’re hoping to go back on our next trip.

We were the only guests in the ryokan staying overnight so it was pretty fun! Was expecting to see fireflies as the ryokan was near the “hotaru road”. However it apparently was too early for firefly season…the ryokan itself was large and the hosts very friendly and hospitable. Food was really fresh - overall a good experience if you want to stay overnight on ieshima!

旅館主の方がとても親切でこころやすく穏やかにお話しが出来たので何かとご無理をたのんでしまいましたが快く承諾してもらえました。特に地酒のちょい比べをさせて頂きとても満足しました。🍷 また料理も昼も食べてなく旅館に着いてから自分の好きな食べ物を選択してそれから作って下さいました。とても美味しく 😋🍴💕頂きました。手の込んだ創作料理でした。感動物でした。🍝 通路には、芸術作品もあり楽しめました。🍁 部屋からのロケーションは、かなり最適です。🏝️ 近くには、原生林の神社などがあり歴史散策での話題は、家内と話が途切れることがなかったです。🌳☘️ 夫婦での旅行では、今までにない満足感を満喫させて頂きました。🎶
