hotel was amazing! reception was very friendly & allowed us to check-in around 1am as our train to himeji got delayed for 70mins room : spacious & clean! [10/10] location : very convenient, 3mins walk from himeji station [10/10] miku & I enjoyed our stay! ありがとうございます!
🌟 The service was absolutely amazing, and my stay was perfect! ✨ The hotel is right by the station, so the transportation is incredibly convenient. There are tons of street food options nearby, which made for a super satisfying night of eating and exploring. The room was clean and tidy, with complete amenities and thoughtful touches. Overall, the experience exceeded my expectations. I'll definitely...
Very basic room and quite cramped for three people but we only needed to sleep there.  Central to everything though.
The hotel's location is excellent, just a three-minute walk to the right of Himeji Castle Station. The facilities are modern and the rooms are clean. The front desk is very luxurious with many sculptures. There's also a hot spring bath. It's a great hotel, I'll definitely stay here again next time.
Amazing location! Right outside the station. Fantastic value for money. The breakfast is consistently delicious and plentiful. The view is also spectacular. They even had Christmas decorations up quite early. This chain is always a safe bet; I prioritize staying with them whenever they're in a city I'm visiting.
Good location near station. Good breakfast. Able to see Himeji castle at dinning area.

The hotel is quite far from the Himeji Station, but you can use the free shuttle bus. I was surprised that the hallway smelled like cigarettes. I have to wait quite long for elevator.
Very clean hotel with polite and professional staff. The room was comfortable . The location made it easy to explore the area. Great value for the price.
Car parks are off-site and space is small. The room is tiny, the good side is the free hot spring provided.
It was pretty good. The front desk staff were very friendly. The only minor issue was the small room size, but otherwise, no problems. Having a washing machine was quite convenient.
The room was a bit small and the facilities were a bit old, but they were well-maintained. The hotel offers frequent shuttle bus services to Himeji Station. Free parking is available for guests who drive. The breakfast selection was quite good.
reasonable price with onsen facilities which will wash away your tiredness from traveling.

Super Hotel near the train station , nice staff! Taxis can be picked up nearby.
Luxury hotel. Very convenient when it comes to transportation. Neat and the staffs are polite.
Thank you for the upgrade. I had a wonderful holiday. Thanks to you, I was able to relax and feel very happy.
This is an old-fashioned hotel left over from the era of rapid economic development. The lobby is filled with tourists and elderly locals having afternoon tea. It's just across from the station, and the soundproofing is excellent. The equipment is indeed old, but it doesn't affect its usability.
Nice interior of the rooms and comfy beds. The staff are very friendly! Great location directly opposite the train station and 10-15 minute walk from Himeji castle with plenty of shops along the way. Hotel buffet is very good!
The room was fairly old, can really tell from the interior of the room and bathroom. Stayed three people with two beds and one extra bed. A bit to cramped. The location is amazing, 2 minutes to Himeji Station and only about 20-25 minutes to Himeji Castle. Money well spent for two nights to explore Himeji Castle and and what else Himeji had to offer.

Great, but older Hotel, worth the price. Pretty good breakfast buffet.
Excellent place and location, the service is also good and the price is affordable. The place is very near to the Himeji Station and the Himeji Castle. I would stay here again 👍
We had a really good stay here. The hotel is in a great spot, not too far from Himeji station and very easy to get to the castle from there. The highlight for us was definitely the free public bath inside the hotel. It was so relaxing to use the sento after a long day of walking. The room was comfortable and the whole experience was very convenient. We would definitely stay here again.
Smoking room was INCREDIBLY smelly, but all other ammenities were nice
Location wise and facility wise is good but the cleanliness inside hotel rooms and lobby is not so great. I would personally not stay here for more than 3 days if given an option. They have free dinner which is a positive point.
Dinner and the free happy hour including alcohol were good. Most of the staff were not Japanese, so it felt like I was in a foreign country.

I really like this chain. They always have a great breakfast and most have beautiful rooftop onsen. This is a busy property very near the train station where you can find all kinds of shops, eateries, markets etc. It is a 10-15 min walk to beautiful Himeji castle and it would be my choice if I come back again for quality price ratio
Nice onsen but it is bit small compared to other dormy inn hotels.
What a great value! Friendly and responsive staff. Onsen was nice. I dislike the hotels that still enforce the tattoo policy, but they were kind enough to provide patches so I could cover mine to use the spa.
If you have been to any Dormy Inn, you've seen them all. Nice onsen on the top floor, free ice cream and ramen are the standouts. The room was clean but quite small.
Even during the cherry blossom season weekend, I managed to get a pretty good price. Everything was up to the usual Dormy Inn standard. The location is super convenient, about a 3-minute walk from Himeji Station's South Exit, and Himeji Castle is about a 15-minute walk away. They have a public bath, including an open-air one, and they even provide free popsicles and lactic acid drinks. The service...
Very Good Location, Just next to the station. 2 mins walk can go back to train station and the giant plaza just next to you, easy for shopping. Walk around 20mins can go to the Himeji Castle. Front Desk have Very good service and have a free onsen and ramen provided. The room is small but clean. Highly recommend if you come to Himeji city.

I stayed at this lovely Japanese-style hotel for 2 nights and had a fantastic experience. The place is spotless, very clean and well-maintained, and definitely family-friendly. One of the highlights was their impressive selection of kimono rentals, it added such a special touch to the trip!
Rooms are small by western standards but perfect for a one night stay in the area.
When you're in your room, you can hear noises from the hallway. When you're in the hallway, you can hear the sound of someone watching a video somewhere. I think it depends on the guest that day, but when I was there it was quiet at night.
There was a large public bath, and I didn't get bored even though I stayed for three nights.
We were able to accommodate an early morning check-out.
The breakfast side dishes were very few

The staff were friendly and the environment was wonderful, surrounded by nature.
Visited here for my honeymoon and they're the reason we're visiting Japan again. Out of all of the things we did this place is the thing we cherish the most. The rooms, service, and views are absolutely incredible. Definitely try the Japanese style rooms with the cedar bath. You'll get a little porch area with your own personal hot springs bathtub that way. I barely speak any Japanese and they took...
Exceptional stay. They provided a muti-course meal to my vegetarian partner despite not being on the menu. We felt very comfortable and welcome. Baths are nice and spacious. The private bath was very good too! English communication is possible too 🙏
We had a fantastic stay and would recommend this hotel to anyone in the area that needs some time to relax! The staff were wonderful and friendly, and spoke good English to us (since we lack any Japanese language skills) which we really appreciated. The rooms were comfortable and very clean. Food was amazing - they went above and beyond by catering for my vegetarian diet. Although, I would recommend...
Stayed one night. Clean, a little outdated. Comfortable. Far from the city, from the train station. Romantic hideout. Food okay but service good
For guests without a car, public transportation is a bit roundabout.

The room was clean and comfortable, great value for money, very close to the station, and surrounded by many shops, making shopping very convenient. I would definitely stay here again next time I'm in Himeji. Highly recommended hotel.
There was no water (mineral water) in the vending machine, so I hope they will sell that in the future. I was glad I could watch BS broadcasts.
It was very close to Himeji Castle and the facilities were clean and nice. It's easily accessible and a recommended hotel for sightseeing at Himeji Castle.
The service and staff were impeccable. The room was very pleasant.
It is an old hotel. I booked a Japanese-style room. It seems that all the rooms on the second floor are Japanese-style. I was alone, but the room was big enough for four people, so I used it a lot. The toilet, shower, and sink were all in one unit, so I thought it would be difficult for four people to stay. I used the large bath (small bath), but there were only two washing areas (showers) and the...
Himeji is known for its castle. Castle towns usually have good sake breweries. It's really hard for tourists to choose the best sake for a souvenir. The hotel has a good sake sommelier. We could compare 3 different tastes of sake as a set. I think we could choose the best sake for us.

Without a reservation from Himeji station, the male staff was gracious and cool and gave me an excellent room at 11pm. The room was modern and the bed was so soft I overslept! Late checkout fees were extremely reasonable.
This hotel was just great! I had a that allows smoking. The view I had was perfect! It was very close to other restaurants and the Himeji Castle. The Himeji castle is maybe about 10-15 minute walk. The restaurant that I went to was called "隠れ家和食 さくら 姫路本店" [Kakurega washoku sakura Himeji honten]. It was my first Izakaya! It's close by and I recommend going if you have the time.
The room is a little small. There are both public large bath/sauna and private bath. It suits for simple stayment.
Nice room, clean and quiet. Close to railway station, about 7 minutes walk. Also close to the castle, about 10-15 minutes walk.
Clean. Business hotel. close to the train station. has a good common jacuzi area with a nice view. has a breakfast area as well. lot of restaurants around.

The public onsen is large, with a wide variety of options. It's very clean, and the food is delicious and thoughtfully prepared. It feels like a vacation. However, I found an iron nail in the bathtub in my room, but luckily I didn't get hurt. Hotels should be more careful...
The double room comes with a private onsen bath, which is very convenient and comfortable! The dinner and breakfast for the two-meal package were both delicious and exquisite. The large bath was also very comfortable. You can even watch Netflix on the TV using your own account!
My wife and I stayed at a Japanese-Style Room with Japanese Cypress Open-Air Bath on the Terrace. The hotel has English speaking staff who was very friendly and helpful. The dinner and breakfast were amazing, and the servers Mr Shiraiwa and Ms Yamaguchi provided excellent services. This is one of the best onsen ryokans we have experienced, and we look forward to returning.
Every detail is exquisite, a picture of tranquility. Excellent dining, hot springs, and rooms. Ideal for road trips.
The hotel boasts comprehensive facilities, including numerous entertainment options and a KTV bar. The rooms are spacious and clean, and one side appears to be pet-friendly, so pet owners can stay there. This hotel is ideal for families with children.
very best services among all the onsen hotels I ever visited. excellent food. open air onsen with great view. cheap.

This Ryokan was amazing. As others have said it is older, but very relaxing. You can take a shuttle there from Himeji station. It is very isolated with a nice garden and onsens on site. The staff and the food was excellent. Highly recommended!
Excellent ryokan, kaiseke dinner was delicious, good service. I really liked the onsen outside. There is a transfer from the train station, but you need to write or call the hotel in advance.
This was my first time using this inn. As we were travelling by car, the deciding factors for us to stay there were that it was located right near the interchange (Yumesaki Smart Interchange) and that it had a hot spring. The room felt a little old, but clean. The hot spring was wonderful and we were able to enjoy both the open-air and indoor baths. The food was also delicious. The inn itself felt...
I enjoy staying at hot spring inns twice a month. This time, I was in Nishinomiya City for personal business, so I stayed at Kamiyama Ryokan, which was a good distance away and reasonably priced. I saw it on a travel site and it had a very high rating, so I was interested and made a reservation, but it was a small inn, so I didn't have high expectations. I was curious about the nearby abandoned inn...
I'm pretty torn about this review. The good: The meal was extensive and of very high quality, including delivery of the multitude of courses to our room. Our waitstaff was a delight. The complimentary shuttle to/from Himeji is a lifesaver, I can imagine it being a real mission to get there otherwise. Everyone we dealt with was friendly, and went out of their way to help, despite knowing very little...
If you want a place that can truly heal your body, mind and soul, this is well worth the trek to get out to. Super friendly staff, amazing amenities, great food and tranquil bath experience in rural Japan. It may be semi tough to get to and a bit pricey but well worth it. Compliments to our hosts for making it a very memorable Japanese experience!

Above average due to carbonated onsen. But outside bath is full of grandpa watching TV and wont move for 30 min. Couldn't even enjoy
I visited this hot spring for a day trip while sightseeing in Himeji. There was a parking lot on the premises that could accommodate about 30-40 cars, and a second parking lot across the street that could accommodate about 20 cars. The bathing fee was 850 yen per adult. Tickets were purchased from a ticket machine and handed to the front desk. The building and the entire facility felt old, but it was...
Hard to get to but amazing experience
Nice place, lovely baths. It’s not a luxury ryokan by any means, but clean and very friendly. Lots of families.
Koderaso It's very relaxing hot spring 🔥
It is an interesting place if you like retro, racing cars, and fish (appreciation). Of course the bath is also comfortable
