Clean room and nice hot springs with sauna. And just located around the station. It’s a nice hotel anyway.

Convenient location in centre of town, round the corner from Daiwa Roynet. Bed was very comfortable but room was rather small considering this is not a big town. Lots of bars and food choices within walking distance but not much to do in the city. The locals seem to go to the ***** malls, restaurants and shops just outside the city, about 15 min drive. But bus stop to major attractions is right outside hotel - think you can get to Mishawaka airport & Lake Towada easily from here.

Location is good. Lot of restaurants within walking distance. Not able to park at hotel carpark due to limited lot. Park at nearby carpark. Just a short 6mins walk. Over night parking rate is cheaper than hotel rate. Room size consider bigger than typical Japan hotel room size. Breakfast is typical Japanese style with lot varieties. There onsen in hotel.

We loved this place and ended up staying two nights. They have the nicest onsen that I have been in after 3 weeks of travel in Japan. Two rock pools, one indoor and one outdoor plus a cold plunge pool. With an ice cream treat for after! Room layout is a little awkward for two people but it works. The location is fabulous, right in the city center so great for walking around in the evening. It is a 15 minute walk from the station but worth it. We did not have breakfast.

This is an absolutely fantastic business hotel. The complimentary amenities, all included even with just a basic room rate, were truly beyond my expectations. Free Yonaki Soba, ice cream, apple juice, Yakult, a massage chair, and a sauna – it was an amazing package. My stay was incredibly satisfying, with just a couple of minor points for improvement: I would have liked a luggage rack in the room, and the check-in process felt a little slow even though my reservation was already paid for. I'm now very keen to try other Dormy Inn locations.

Rooms: Compact and well-designed, making efficient use of every inch.

Onsen (Hot Spring Bath) [Complimentary for all hotel guests]: Located on the 13th floor. They offer Yakult in the mornings, ice pops in the evenings, and free massage chairs – a really nice touch!

Evening Soba Noodles: Served from 9:30 PM to 11:00 PM. I was literally 3 minutes late and missed it – what a huge regret!

Welcome Drinks: There's complimentary apple juice available in the lobby on the first floor when you check in. Make sure to have plenty, as every apple juice I bought later in my trip was at my own expense!

Breakfast: As someone with a 'Chinese palate,' I wasn't quite accustomed to having Japanese seafood donburi for breakfast, though the ingredients were incredibly fresh.

Downsides: Hon-Hachinohe is a bit of a distance from Hachinohe Station. I'd recommend taking a bus from Hachinohe Station; it might take a bit longer but will save you a lot of walking. If you rely on Baidu Maps, it might direct you via the JR line. Walking from Hon-Hachinohe Station with luggage is quite a struggle, about a 15-minute walk, which is rather inconvenient.

I stayed here for my first trip to Hachinohe. The downtown area is quite a walk from Motohachinohe Station, which I imagine could be tough during summer or on rainy days. However, the hotel's location is excellent, being close to the downtown area with plenty of great restaurants nearby! They offered delicious apple juice in the lobby. The room was a bit on the small side but felt very clean. Breakfast offered a great variety, and everything was delicious, including the kaisen-don (seafood rice bowl), ika-menchi (squid cutlets), and scallop fry! The hot spring bath was also wonderful, but unfortunately, I spotted a cockroach and had to get out immediately 😭. Perhaps it's unavoidable with an open-air bath, but I really wish I could have relaxed in such a nice hot spring longer – that's my only slight regret! I was also delighted that the hairdryers in the public bath were Panasonic Nanoe models! And the ice cream after the bath was delicious too.

Though the location wasnt the closest to the train, it was an overall great hotel! There’s even a massage chair that can be used anytime. Free noodles and ice cream every night with free probiotic drink every morning. Definitely recommend. Photos showing the view.
