Rooms are neat, renovated and clean. Good price and location at the rocky trailhead. Lots of eataries around. Can recommend to non demanding travellers as place is very basic.

It's clear the hotel has been renovated, and in some places, renovations are still underway. The rooms on the second floor are more comfortable than those on the third. For example, they have carpets. The bathrooms leave much to be desired, even in the recently renovated rooms. There are no curtains, it's quite dirty, and there appear to be mold spots in the corners. It's generally uninviting.
The breakfast was decent. The photo also shows the jam and sour cream, which were served a little later.
The location is so-so, even though it's near the embankment. In front of the hotel is a cafe with blaring music and a barbecue smoky across the street. Behind it is a building and an empty lot. It's a fair walk to the proper embankment.
The girl at the reception was friendly and pleasant. The woman serving breakfast didn't say a word, not even to "thank you."

The staff is friendly. The location is excellent. Right on the seashore. The room is standard. An upgrade wouldn't hurt. Breakfast is included. If you don't have a sea view, your room will overlook the construction site. Opposite is the Maida cafe, with trestle beds. You can take some food there and dine in your room. Electric kettles would be nice in the room, but the receptionist can bring you some cafe tea. The price is 12,000 rubles.
