Biplan Hotel in Daugavpils

My guests stayed at the hotel for New Year’s Eve and had a wonderful experience! The atmosphere was very comfortable and welcoming. Small touches like a glass of champagne and festive sweets made their stay feel extra special. Breakfast was delicious and satisfying. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a cozy and friendly place to stay!

I cannot reccomend a place enough like this stay. From booking to leaving it was the most pleasant experience. For a 3 star hotel the room is very neat, minimalistic and cosy.
Food for breakfast is very nice.
Above all however that makes this place really worth it is the staff! I stayed 4 nights and each and every person couldn't have been more accommodating. The smiles, the pleasant chats, quick responses to the smallest questions and support how to go about town.
I want to especially highlight the young man who covers night shifts at reception going fully out of his way to assist during personal emergency! Thank you! I will definitely be back 🙏

We came to the hotel, after a night at the Russian border, around 8:30 am. We were so tired 😩

Check in is normally a lot later but the staff arranged a room for the 3 of us and the dog. While waiting we had a wonderful breakfast 🥞🍳.

I appreciated it a lot that touch of humanity.

Everything was very clean with good service. The room had a smart TV where you can watch YouTube and other apps. We booked a room with a balcony, which was nice, but the price seemed a bit high for this option. The only downside was that there was no fridge in our room. Overall, we were satisfied with our stay.

Lovely hotel with a very interesting history, which is highlighted through the décor. Biplan Hotel is within walking distance of the city centre and is also very close to the promenade along the river. The hotel itself is staffed by very friendly receptionists (who speak Latvian, Russian and English) and the whole building is very clean and nicely decorated. The room was very comfortable and I slept very well. The continental breakfast in the morning was excellent. I'm vegan but I felt I had a good amount of choice. The hotel has a free car park at the back of the building. Thanks, Biplan!

First time in this hotel where I spent one night.
Not a fancy hotel but nicely decorated specially if you’re a airplane fan.
My room was simple but extremely clean with a comfy bed. The only downside was that there is no blackout curtain so the room is quite bright even at night. In the toilet I miss the “normal” shower (there is only the one you have to hold - idk the name in English).
At night was also really quiet.
Breakfast is simple but has everything you need.
Good internet speed.
I’m not 100% sure but I think there is no elevator available so if you need one call the hotel before to make sure.
Staff was really nice speaking perfect English.
In terms of distance they are quite close to town centre (walking distance) and there is a supermarket around the corner if you need something.
They have also a big parking lot.
In a nutshell it was a proper 3 stars hotel with a fair price.

Nice hotel not far from the city center and central railway station. The room is clean and the interior is nice and fresh. Good continental breakfast. Friendly staff. Good value for the price! Recommended!

Well located, themed & stylish family owned hotel with free parking and nice backyard being close to Daugavpils city center.
Receptionist Galina is an ambassador of supreme hospitality service.
In summer ask for the room facing inner yard and not on the 4th floor (attic).
Would happily come back.
