Only real hotel in town. Nicely situated, attached to a grocery store & mall - plus cross the street is a very big shopping mall. The front desk is always helpful and friendly, I have been staying there regularly since 2016. Clean rooms. Don’t expect the decor to be brand new major city hotel inspired. Very decent breakfast, in its own way, the staff will make you a better coffee, than the touch screen machine, just ask.

During our recent stay in Daugavpils, we chose this centrally located hotel and couldn’t have been happier. It’s situated right inside a shopping complex, surrounded by cafes, restaurants, and shops — everything you need is just steps away. Public transport is easily accessible, making it a perfect base for exploring the city. While the rates were slightly higher than nearby options, the quality of service made it absolutely worthwhile. The standout was Vika at reception — her kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail transformed our visit into something truly special. She arranged a room with a breathtaking view and even surprised us with a fruit platter, which felt incredibly thoughtful. The hotel itself offers solid amenities and comfort, easily meeting four-star expectations. But thanks to the staff — especially Vika — the experience felt five-star. If you’re looking for a place where you’ll be genuinely cared for from the moment you arrive, with peaceful surroundings and panoramic views, this is the one to book in Daugavpils.

We were most impressed - very good location, nice rooms, breakfast on the 10th floor. Besides, I left my glasses behind and the staff found them at once and posted them back to me. I am very grateful. Not everyone would have bothered.

Sorry…but we didn’t know we could be so “surprised”..
Very dirty…everything - tables, windows, bathroom, etc
Hair on the pillows, no kattle in the room 😳😳
For hot water we needed to go to the restaurant…
And the worst thing- we even didn’t have a fresh towels! They were wet 🤯
Great location…and nothing more.
We came after 11pm and child was sleeping, if not I would ask to clean everything for sure.
It was a business class double room, I even don’t want to think what is in a regular room.

A bit old, dated hotel, the rooms also look rather old, but still good. They have rich breakfast on the top floor from where you have a good view to downtown. Wifi was not always stable.

The place where it is located is really the City Center. The rooms are clean and the have everything you need. Breakfast - Coffee is good.

The carpet smelled of chemicals. How did I know this? That’s a great question… The only place that the Wi-Fi worked in our suite was when I sat on the floor next to the door (and even then, just barely). In the rest of the room, we could not even see the access points. Phone, iPad, computer - it didn’t matter - the room was an effective faraday cage for Wi-Fi..
When turning the AC on, we got nothing. Absolutely nothing. However, when switching it to heat mode, we got a trickle of cold air. Thankfully we had our own fans with us to help cool down the room by opening the windows.
The bathroom is an accident waiting to happen. There is a giant tub, but no shower curtain. But there is a mount on the wall for the shower head - which aims the shower head out the door into the carpeted bedroom. Did I mention that there is also an outlet on the wall that the shower aims at?
On the positive side, we had a walk in closet. Not sure what we were supposed to use that for through…
The kids slept on pull out sofas. They are scouts and used to sleeping on thin foam mattresses but both of them complained about how hard the beds were (the main bed was OK - the only redeeming feature of this hotel.
We stayed here because we needed a place for a family of four. Had I the ability to do it over, I would have kept driving to Tartu.
The Chinese restaurant in the mall next door was quite good though!

We have not stayed in the actual hotel so far (we stay with the family) but have lunched at the Plaza restaurant at the very top of this hotel, and it's always been a truly amazing experience. Fresh, yummy and beautifully presented local food, very good portions, polite and helpful staff and very reasonable prices. Be sure to check out their "business lunch" offer, very affordable and delicious, consisting of a soup choice of the day, main course choice and a drink (local compote usually). The views of the city are so nice to enjoy while having your meal. A must visit while in Daugavpils, in our family's opinion.

The security guard argues with guests and trying to kick them out from the lobby without reason. Everything is closed at 11 pm. The view from the room is pretty much closed by a wall. They don’t pay attention to guests’ needs at all. Avoid this place
