Nice Hotel, not in the centre of Jurmala, but with a lot of great restaurants nearby (the best was named Zem Buram)

Breakfast at the hotel was very good and of high quality — this was one of the positive aspects of the stay. Unfortunately, the room experience did not meet expectations

The massage was good too—though not as relaxing as I expected. The therapist decided to work through all my tense muscles, perhaps a bit too enthusiastically. The restaurant is rather expensive, and the food was average

As always, everything was great, and the music evenings were great👌

Nice hotel with a good view and quick check-in/out. I’d say it has everything you need for a short break. The swimming pool is lovely, and there are two saunas

The Spa treatment, was provided by an excellent technician and I appreciated the after treatment tea area

Smallish rooms on top level but very well furnished and clean. Restaurant was pretty good too. Played a round at the executive course which was challenging and well maintained. Practice facilities are top notch

This was a great hotel and location. Close to the beaches at Jūrmala and an easy 20 minute drive to Old Town Riga. Breakfast buffet was good. Staff was friendly and professional!

Please note however that this is basically a countryside so there are no bars/cinemas/nightlife - It's very clean - Pet friendly - There's a small private area for guests: you can relax on the terrace or play ping-pong (for free) - The breakfast is nice - Beds are comfortable - Rooms have small balconies - WiFi connection is fast and reliable - Free tea and hot water (only on the 2nd floor) - There...

Expensive. You get less than you pai. Breakfas is good. Near the sea. Long path for a walk. Rooms everge Free tea in hall. No coffee.

I loved it here! I chose this hotel because it is very close to the beach but prices are better. Also I loved the homestay feel of this place.

There are two railway stations nearby, the sea is just 2-3 mins walk by foot, there is also a shop and a cafe (note however that the cafe closes at 18:00)

Right, flying midgets - While the property is pet friendly, the balconies are not really suited for cats or small dogs: there are large holes and your pet might run away

The structure of the old house with a lot of wooden elements supports the historical character. Parking is available, also a nice garden to relax. The service is excellent, the breakfast tasty and varied

The hotel is autenthic by it's architecture. When you exit hotel - you are in Jomas iela. Only 5 minutes by walk to the sea. Breakfast - amazing, tasty food, different options for everybody

The location of the hotel is perfect about 10 minutes walk to the beach 🏖 And you absolutely have to try their breakfast 🥞! It is a breakfast and a lunch together! Absolutely delicious! They also have a restaurant on site called Grill Time where you can enjoy delicious home made meals and amazing BBQ shashlik👍

We are from Canada and it was a second time we stayed at Dzintars hotel and absolutely enjoyed it! The owners and staff of the hotel were very helpful, speak 3 languages (latvian, Russian and English) and were available 24/7

Lovely, quiet, clean and peaceful location just a few metres from the beach. Excellent spot for relaxing, taking gentle strolls and breathing the fresh, sea air.

I did come to marine hotel without any expectations, but i was suprised! Rooms are nice, very clean, there is everything you need for a short trip. staff is small but very helpful and friendly

The kitchen and playroom and the playing corner in the breakfast room are great for traveling with small children. Staff was friendly, the cleaning duo was especially friendly and attentive

Breakfast was great, some new dishes every day, compliments to the breakfast chef. The only thing: you can hear noise from the neighboring room, but we did not mind

Pros: the sea is very close, silence, as if the sound was turned off, even strange. We lived in a room with a balcony, and there are only 4 of them in the entire building. The bed is comfortable, the linen is clean

Everything is old fashioned and in need of a refurbishment. There are two tattered chairs on the balcony. In the photo, there was a kettle in the kitchen, in reality it was not, but there was a microwave

😂 Or is it designed to take a computer and an HDMI cable with you? When we arrived, the smell in the building was not very pleasant, as if the floor had been washed with an old rag

Excellent service in the hotel deserves to be specially mentioned - upon arrival I was welcomed with delicious Riga champagne and chocolate, the room was big and beautiful, equipped with everything you need

The hotel has a great location right in the centre of the pedestrian zone - all the restaurants of Jurmala, a wonderful pine park, beach, cosy local shops, Dzintary concert hall are just around the corner

We got a nice and modern Deluxe Studio room with all essentials (from washing machine to slippers, fully equipped kitchen area - anything we could need). We have been granted free parking next to hotel

There was a refridgerator and a little balcony. The hotel is in an excellent location, a leisurely stroll from the beach and a block away from the main pedestrian street in Jurmala

Cute, coming of age hippie-style family-run outfit in a good spot, opposite the museum and close to other attractions like the 'Inner Light' Art Studio or the train station

We were awed by the breakfast: a fresh fruit starter; a basket of wonderful bread and croissants with butter and jam; and the usual warm breakfast dishes accompanied by coffee, all served quite stylishly

The room, although not large, had a lot of amenities we did not expect: electric kettle and tea; some plates, spoons, glasses and mugs; bathrobes and slippers; even a shoe horn

Insane expensive cars in parking clean beautiful omg finaly we found good villa for our Mercedes benz to park

High quality apartment where everything worked well and service was very helpfull. We stayed in apartment nro 5 (groundfloor) and the two bedrooms were big with a lot of storage

The terass was small but that didnt bother us. Each bedroom had a window that you could open. Air condition was very powerful and you could really cool the whole apartment well

2 full bathrooms (1 shower, 1 bath) and 2 balconies with outdoors furniture provide that extra bit of comfort that does make a difference

BTW, in a wonderfully equipped kitchen some additional kitchenware like baking paper and oven proof dishware would have been nice

Great small hotel just a short walk away from the beach. There is a restaurant downstairs that serves all day long (recommend chicken cutlets!) with a good selection

Swimming pool is a good size, but we only went once because the beach is amazing. There is a bus stop right next to the hotel so you can travel in Jurmala quite easily

Beachfront hotel and restaurant that has superb service and amazing view. Secluded and away from the main town. Food was excellent and the view on the beach was better.

The poor guy was visibly trying to accommodate everyone running from table to table while they should actually hire more servers and cooks! Good enough food but takes a long time to get it even on quiet hours

Light House Jurmala restaurant has very unique, very calm and relaxed atmosphere. While seating in the restaurant, the feeling is as if you are in the beach, you will enjoy it. Food is great, with variety of choices

I liked everything - excelent location, nice cozy room, nice view from balcony (pine trees, narrow street, going from center to the sea, resort type wooden houses,flowers aroud them and seagulls on roofs)

We thought we would do a long weekend trip to Riga but decided to stay in the resort town of Jurmala. We close this hotel as it seemed to have character and be well positioned within the town

It is clean, comfortable, well run and all at a very fair price. It is not a grand or smart hotel so don't expect extra frills
