I was very pleased with staff from Grand Lexis especially with Rekha who was very accommodating and helped me changed my room as I had injured my knee and was unable to go up the stairs to my unit. She managed to give me a unit on the lower floor and that made my stay more comfortable and great. My only issue is the WiFi was intermittent. Breakfast was good and my family and I enjoyed the spread.

The room is spacious. However, it needs refurbishing. The room has unpleasant odors the moment I open the door, some kind of mouldy smell. The bed sheets don’t cover the whole mattress, they are smaller than the mattress. There’s no ventilator in the bathroom. The lights in the bathroom is so dim.

Great stay at Deluxe Water Chalet but the building was old - hopefully the hotel will refurbish soon in the near future and improve on the buffet dishes selection to have more variety as mainly all items is the same for a few days stay.

We often stay in thistle PD past this 15yrs and love the natural environment, but this time stay the furniture getting older and some are starting to break, like the wardrobe door getting stuck and bathtub have cracked  Hope they will arrange renovations asap

Had an amazing 2 nights stay here. Staff service is incredible from checkin until checkout. Pool is clean, kids area is so big & well maintained. Easy access to the beach with lots of activities. Breakfast provided is so good with lots of options. Near to Tanjung Tuan hiking trail and good view

The cleaniness of this hotel is really bad. They promised to come to re-clean my room but the roo still dusty on floor , cabinet and remote control until I checked out.

I love this hotel in PD. The location not near the crowded area. The beach is beautiful. The pool is very friendly and funs for kids. Only the parking space is kind limited in the hotel area.

The accommodation was very old, the cleanliness and comfort were very poor. The food selection at the restaurant was poor, the beach environment and view were nice but the beach was full of trash and the sea water was very polluted.

Nice place, cleaness and suitable for my family.I liked the atmosphere here. We felt relaxed and welcomed from the moment we arrived. The staff took really good care of everything. It was a refreshing escape.

1) The service is average, as not much is needed during the stay. 2) The facilities are quite old, considering that it is quite an old building with a mix of different people coming in and out without tight control of the inflows. 3) The breakfast provided in the hotel cafe (as buffet) is above average because of its variety of food and beverages.

This hotel located near the beach and it has stairs to the beach. The beach might not be suitable for swimming, but there's a nearby beach with cafes and restaurants. A chinese restaurant is a few km on the way to PD. Breakfast is ok. If you require a sea view room, you may need to top up some extra Rm60.

Nice view from swimming pool, can swim at seaside then follow the routes will lead you back to the hotel swimming pool, really convenient. Overall great place to stay. Hotel breakfast is tasty, will come again.

The chinese receptionist isnt friendly. Please put someone suitable there. Your receptionist os the face of the hotel. However the room is quite good. It is spacious, tidy and clean. My room got stained on the bed. ☹️Not to mentioned that they forgot to put towel inside my room. I had to asked from the counter myself.

Location is strategic (nearby ocean). Aircond is quite good and cold. However, it doesn’t provide a proper bath towel. Only given disposable bath towel which is very inconvenient due to unable to absorb the water. It provides empty shower gel (finished already) and didnt topup before new customer come. This hotel is quite old. While the exterior looks new, the rooms are very dated and definitely not worth the price. I won't be returning to this old hotel! The high price for such an old property made me feel completely misled by its appearance.
