The sea is really close (about 300 meters downhill, and the climb back up is moderate). The center of Bar is a 30-minute walk away, or you can take a bus from the highway by the sea or hitchhike for 1-2 euros. There are a couple of minimarkets right next door, just a stone's throw from the apartment. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes to choose from down by the sea.
Laundry is available (I think it's even free). Room cleaning is available upon request.
