This place is a nugget we discovered by chance when traveling through Montenegro. We came upon it in the perfect moment to make a short break. The food was excellent, and the service exquisite and fast. I particularly enjoyed rock'n'roll memorabilia on the walls, the house rules hanging from the wall, and blues music filling the room.

The place has a jazz - bikers vibe. Excellent to take a break in the beautiful Montenegro. The attention was perfect. The place feel nice and cosy. Highly recommended!

On our way to Žabljak, we stopped at Zaborje restaurant for lunch. Honestly, we were a bit skeptical at first, but it turned out to be a great decision. For the first time in almost four years, I had a delicious smoked trout and it was fresh and perfectly prepared. We were there only for a coffee break but it was the best. The young man who served us was welcoming, friendly and efficient. The hot chocolate was to die for as was the chocolate cake. Definitely recommend

Four of us stopped for lunch on route from Bosnia.The waiter was excellent, friendly and informative. I and my wife had the local trout that was smoked and served warm. Superb. Out friends had the local beef steak. Also good. Definitely worth stopping for a meal when in the area. We would be happy to return.

Zaborje is a lovely place to stay over night and camp. It’s made and run with love! They serve tasty food and drinks. Highly recommendable!

Good local restaurant with tasty local dishes and a good lively atmosphere. We did not stay in the hotel and only experienced the restaurant. We had interesting conversations with the owner and his friend. They recommended us the local dishes we should try. The biggest surpise was the desert: pancakes with an amazing blue berry sauce. Best to combine with espresso en rakija! We surely recommend this...

Just for a one night sleep if there isn’t anything else. Pros: 1. Views are great (see photos). 2. Has a hot water. Cons: 1. Smells like someone smoked inside the rooms and the hotel employees can't fix that smell. 2. Internet was broken and didn't work at the 3rd floor. 3. Neighbors were very noisy. They listened some music and walked here and around. 4. A lot of things that make hotel look ugly...

Excellent food, excellent service - simple, very friendly

Beautiful mountain location with quaint lodges. Excellent value for money and a good place to stop before or after visiting the wonderful Ostrog Monastery. The onsite restaurant served really good evening meals although the included breakfast in the morning was very basic. Try the home made bean dish, it's delicious, and the Montenegrin sword. Nice staff and simple but tidy little huts. We had dinner at the restaurant in the evening and it was very delicious!
