Wonderfull place. We stayed two nights and did the Rhino tracking what was an experience never to forget. Tents are very warm during the day but you can refresh at the pool or at the restaurant. The rhino tracking was impressive and well organised with pick up for return. Trails around the camp are very well suited for extra hiking. Staff and food was excellent.

Campsite is clean & well maintained. We did rhino tracking on foot, guided by Werner. Note that young rhinos can be playful 😄 It may be that all guides are at the level of Werner, but he was certainly outstanding in his knowledge of birds, tracks, and plants. Restaurant staff was courteous and flexible.

The campsite was magnificent. Bathroom good, one was very dirty but the other nice with hot water shower. A honeybadger spiced up our life first stealing our trash bag before we managed to store it in the car as we had planned. Then it came back in the middle of the night and attacked the thrash can. Okay, as some of us always wanted to see a honeybadger.

We stayed at Waterberg Valley Lodge in September 2025. The location is amazing and they offer great activities. We did the Sundowner hike which was brilliant - a very special experience as it is done only per couple. We also did the rhino tracking by foot which was exhausting but worth it - we saw rhino and many other animals. The tents unfortunately are not great. After a round trip through Namibia...

The view is fantastic from the chalet nearby the restaurant. A lot of activities can be booked directly with the hotel or you can explore the trails until the spring at the very end of the valley. Very friendly staff who helped us with our flat tire.

End to end fantastic experience, by far the best place we've stayed on our honeymoon. I do not understand the negative reviews below, we stayed April 2026 and we're thoroughly impressed. Perfect bungalow in the nature, main house with cool lapa, pool, very kind and helpful staff team and excellent food - just a "must stay" ! Honestly one of the very nicest places we found in Namibia !

Two nights at Waterberg Guest Farm. Mid-level accomodation, a little far from everything. We enjoyed our bungalow and the quietness of the nights. However, some minor problems, such as: defective illumination of the walkway to the bungalow, no AC in the bungalow, not enough resting possibilities around the pool... are to be mentioned. Service was friendly, although a little inefficient at times.

The staff were pleasant but not overly attentive. The food was good. The sunloungers were grubby and there were few towels to cover them. The lighting to the accommodation wasn’t working. The horse riding activities advertised were not available. There were no blinds or curtains at all within the acccomodation. The rooms were clean and there was a fully stocked mini bar. Rooms are very essential but completely immerse in the nature you sleep under a sky full of stars and wake up with an amazing sunrise and Waterberg plateau just in front of your eyes. The welcome at the property it is not the warmest you can have it seems nobody care too much about who is around but then you can enjoy good vibes.
