The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were consistently friendly. The lodge does not offer meals, but you can reach several restaurants in the city centre within a ten-minute drive. They provide recommendations and can even make bookings on your behalf. In my case, I followed recommendations from friends, and the area offers plenty of good options. Breakfast was good and well prepared.
If I had to give one improvement suggestion, it would be to replace the mattress, as it felt slightly worn. Other than that, everything worked well and the stay was very enjoyable.

This family-run guesthouse is located in a safe area, is modernly furnished, and very clean.
It also offers ample space for several large 4x4 vehicles. Laundry service and excursions can be booked upon request.
German is also spoken.
And if the liquor store happens to be closed on Sundays or after work, there's a refrigerator in the breakfast room stocked with a good selection of wine, beer, and other beverages.
The room was not very clean when we arrived, the toilet seat was broken, and the window by the shower was difficult to open and close (looking straight out to (and in from) a communal area where people were hanging up washing).
The room was also tiny and not a place that you'd want to do anything other than sleep. That in itself would be perfectly fine. However, the ceiling was also very low and the little dehumidifier didn't help us enough through the nights so we ended up having pretty bad sleeps and leaving Swakopmund quite tired and miserable after spending 3 nights there (no refunds allowed).
Friendly owners and the room was spacious and well equipped with everything we needed.
