A very traditional old-Africa style hotel with thatched roof. Perfect location for walking along the sea front, watching wildlife, or going into town. The service was excellent. The waiter was very friendly and insightful and interesting to talk to. They helped me to park my motorcycle safely. One evening the restaurant was a bit busy so they brought food to my room. Swimming pool is nice. Seals, pelicans, flamingoes, wading birds. Also saw a dolphin along the coast.

We had a great experience here. The hotel is very well-located - it was just steps away from our Sandwich Bay tour departure point. Every member of the staff was friendly, welcoming and accommodating. They all went above and beyond. The thatched roof is charming. The room was comfortable, with nice pillows. The breakfast is great. But the real standout is the quality of the staff, from the front desk to the wait staff to the nighttime security guard to the laundry staff!

Great place with a feeling of coziness.
Very nice and cozy hotel with pool area.
Love the old style of the hotel building with thatched roof and visible wooden rafters in the restaurant and room.

Why call yourself a boutique hotel when you barely reach the Guesthouse category? We could give 8 to the kindness of the staff, but 1 to the cleanliness of the room and its neglect. The breakfast is quite good, even if the name is questionable, since they only offer you one dish to choose from.

Very nice boutique hotel on the waterfront. Conveniently located, secure and very helpful staff. The rooms are spacious and nicely furnished, good sized swimming pool. Nice restaurant. All staff were extremely helpful and they even did our laundry for free.

Superb staff. Unique loft rooms. Comfy beds. Snugly blankets. Directly across from the water and a walking path. First, the staff is so pleasant and helpful. This is the key pro for this lovely hotel. Second, loft, thatched rooms!? Who wouldn’t love this! USB plugs at bedside! Tastefully appointed. Quite comfortable beds and linens! The sisal carpet is a little hard on the feet, but that’s nothing compared to the abundance of lovely touches in this great room. Our son loved the loft and the sliding library ladder! We only had breakfast so don’t know about other meals. Bar fully stocked and again…great staff! The only con would be that the internet, while having a strong signal, seemed to be stressed by customer demand in the evening. This did impact us because our son has a YouTube channel to work on. In the morning, the internet was perfect. So, something to maybe consider if you have a need for quick access in the evening. Overall, really lovely place. Unique and well-appointed rooms will leave you wanting to stay longer! Again, superb staff. Can’t say that enough.

There were so many issues during our stay:
1. There were not enough towels for us in our room. We asked for more and when we got them one of them was dirty (with something black). Furthermore, there were not hand shoap
2. There was a birthday party so they got music until midnight. The didn’t told us about this situation in advance
3. The worst is that we were told that the breakfast started at 6:30. We needed to leave early to go to Sandwich harbour and we were ready at that time to have our breakfast. Although, at 7:00 we left without breakfast as it was not ready (breakfast was still being prepared). So we were very upset
To sum up, find another hotel in the area

The restaurant here is lights out fantastic. Among the best food that I had in Walvis Bay. All of the dishes were extremely well prepared and everything tasted fresh and intentional. If you are deciding on where to eat in this area, this place must absolutely be considered.

Wow I can’t even begin to explain how dirty this hotel did us, they played us for fools and beyond disrespected us plus our time and money. Our accommodation was books way in advance weeks before our arrival on the 9th of October when we go there the hotel told us a lie that our rooms were water damage and there was no electricity and that they had to move us to a different low class hotel. Only to find out that this was lie they had double booked themselves and decided to leave us stranded and disrespected us like we didn’t pay for the accommodation and left us to search for own alternatives accommodation in a foreign country where we are tourist and visitors. They don’t value their patrons and they have double standards and very disrespectful. I will never even recommend this hotel, the food is blends and the management is beyond rude. This pictures were taken on arrival before the whole incident happened.

With the view over Flamingo bay, nice and kind staff and nice layout and decoration on the rooms, makes this place a good place to stay while in Walvis Bay.

The food served in the restaurant is tasty and fresh.

Administration of the place should consider revision and repairs on various amenities and accessories as are falling a bit behind and will downgrade the place value soon enough.
