This is a very nice hotel located by the Ocean, with terraces on the ground floor, rooms are big and beds are comfortable, nice view from the windows, big and clean bathroom, very tasty and varied breakfast, helpful staff at the reception

Convenient location as it is 5 minutes away by footfrom all the tours available in Walvis Bay, right by the waterfront.
The room was perfect, with a gorgeous sea view and grass covered terrace / garden and palm trees everywhere. The room was clean and spacious, the bathroom has a walk-in shower. The staff is very nice and welcoming. Water bottles are free in the room.
The breakfast was diverse and tasty.

Not the first time I've stayed here, friendly welcoming, comfortable and spacious room, generous breakfast, well located close to harbour and a number of bars, restaurants and tourist shops, also to offices for local tours. When the fog clears scenic views! Decor a little tired, but remember where you are!!

Stayed at the Protea Hotel Walvis Bay Pelican Bay in October as part of a Namibia tour with a few friends. The hotel has great value for money, was clean, service was great, but the rooms are a little outdated. Would definitely recommend for a few days stay in the beautiful region.

Great location right next to the pier where the boat leaves.

They are busy with renovations, however it still seems a bit run down. Had to change rooms due to a few issues, but the recommendations for the change came from them, which was appreciated. The hotel's restaurant can be recommended - the quality and prices are good.

Very old and run down, it's best to tear down and start again. Amazing, they brand marriot. Breakfast is very sad, room old falling apart and in progress of renovation
