We had a fantastic first two nights on the game camp. The rooms/tents are spacious and have everything you need. The staff is excellent and dinner and breakfast are perfect. The giraffes in the morning are of course a highlight and also the climb to Mount Wackel is highly recommended. Thanks for the great start of our Namibia adventure.

The location and cleanness was amazing so was the staff. And on top of it the the hiking!!! And of course the animals ;)

We had a 3 x families road trip all over Namibia and we ended our trip at Windhoek Game Camp. After the safaris and dusty (and beautiful) desert experiences and hours and hours of being in the cars, the kids getting a chance to play in the pool and hike the compound looking for animals was an incredible way to wind down and relax. The rooms are beautiful and make you feel like your on a luxury safari, and you can even see giraffes and oryxs from the balcony if you get lucky. The food was also tasty, and the staff were the most helpful. They even packed breakfast for us since we had to leave at 4 am. 100% would recommend to ease into Namibia or wind down at the end.

The Windhoek Game Camp exceeded all expectations on my solo March 2026 adventure. The service was top-notch and cleanliness was impeccable. I loved the unforgettable giraffe-feeding session, which made the experience truly magical. The staff were friendly and made my stay truly exceptional. Rest assured I will be back.

Perfectly located in the central city of Windhoek. Very nicely equipped tents and campsites with good facilities. Bar and restaurant well equipped

The tents are magnificent. The personell very friendly and the Camp is lovely. You can go on a hike by yourself and see the Giraffes and antilopes from upclose. Pool area is beautiful and refreshing. Distance from airport is perfect after a long flight. Only thing I wonder is if the animals have enough space to roam. Feeding the giraffes in the morning is happily not gaurenateed as they are wild animals and not always willing to come close.

Our stay was fine. The pool is the best part. The staff were lovely as well, if not perhaps enough of them. Dinner seemed overpriced for what we got. The night was cold (to be expected), therefore the tent got cold (to be expected), and one of our bed heaters wasn’t working (unfortunate). Lots of neighbourhood dogs barking throughout the night; a bit hard to sleep. It was fine for a night but I wouldn’t stay again.

We had a wonderful time. The location is perfect "after or before" traveling from/to the Airport... The Breakfast with the Giraffe is amazing. We enjoyed it all to the fullest.

Very nice high quality camp. Everything is to a high standard, from cleanliness (probably the cleanest pool in Namibia) to the very friendly staff. We felt immediately at home. Everything was very unvomplicated and therefore made our stay very relaxing. A special experience is the visit of the Orix and Giraffes directly at the camp for breakfast. If we visit Namibia again we will be back

Very nice accomodation for us on day of arrival in Namibia and on the way to Swakupmund. Closeby Windhoek, reachable - close to highway. Nice food and fabulous meeting with all animals during breakfast.
