Windhoek Game Camp in Windhoek

Perfectly located in the central city of Windhoek. Very nicely equipped tents and campsites with good facilities. Bar and restaurant well equipped

The tents are magnificent. The personell very friendly and the Camp is lovely. You can go on a hike by yourself and see the Giraffes and antilopes from upclose. Pool area is beautiful and refreshing. Distance from airport is perfect after a long flight. Only thing I wonder is if the animals have enough space to roam. Feeding the giraffes in the morning is happily not gaurenateed as they are wild animals and not always willing to come close.

Our stay was fine. The pool is the best part. The staff were lovely as well, if not perhaps enough of them. Dinner seemed overpriced for what we got. The night was cold (to be expected), therefore the tent got cold (to be expected), and one of our bed heaters wasn’t working (unfortunate). Lots of neighbourhood dogs barking throughout the night; a bit hard to sleep. It was fine for a night but I wouldn’t stay again.

We had a wonderful time. The location is perfect "after or before" traveling from/to the Airport... The Breakfast with the Giraffe is amazing. We enjoyed it all to the fullest.

Very nice high quality camp. Everything is to a high standard, from cleanliness (probably the cleanest pool in Namibia) to the very friendly staff. We felt immediately at home. Everything was very unvomplicated and therefore made our stay very relaxing. A special experience is the visit of the Orix and Giraffes directly at the camp for breakfast. If we visit Namibia again we will be back

Very nice accomodation for us on day of arrival in Namibia and on the way to Swakupmund. Closeby Windhoek, reachable - close to highway. Nice food and fabulous meeting with all animals during breakfast.

A true family spirit and attentive service, giraffes, oryx and springboxes joining you for breakfast and dinner. An ideal way to start or finish your Namibian adventure

Great experience, great atmosphere! Windhoek Game Camp is a fantastic place for any trip to Namibia, in fact it's a must: located not far from the airport or the city centre, super friendly owners and staff, delicious food and, unlike other lodges, it even includes two hiking trails (Oryx Trail and Giraffe Trail). The oryxes and giraffes come to the pool area in the morning, where you can watch them. And it's super quiet, relaxed and located in the most beautiful natural surroundings. Wi-Fi is available for those who want it. So: everything is top notch, full marks.

We loved everything about Windhoek Game Camp. A modern giraffe 🦒 themed lodge. The rooms are beautifully situated amongst the bush on the 50 hectare property. They have a glam feel with quality fixtures and comfy beds. Shower was devine, with plenty of water. Comes with soap, shampoo and moisturizer. Staff were tentative and friendly. We ordered lunch and dinner (this needs to be done in advance) and also partook in the inclusive breakfast. Meals were of a high standard and enjoyed by us. Breakfast was a full buffet, including a full English cooked option. The pool was warm and clean and looked out into the surrounding mountain range. There are two walks on the property which we completed and it gives you an chance to see insects and wildflowers up close. Having breakfast with the giraffes coming into feed was a joy and privilege to see them so close. This lodge also has some friendly dogs and a large black cat that soaked up any attention that should come it's way😊. If you have the opportunity to come to Windhoek Game Camp do so , it does disappoint. We have enjoyed some down time between long days of traveling and safaris.

Everything was qualitative.helpful.very good breakfast with a super view .I recommand this place……..
