Hotels in Groesbeek

Environment are so nice and their restaurant excellent

Very happy with our stay Excellent, visited this hotel as in February 9th 1945 my grandfather was outside here with the the 61st Highland Anti Tank Regiment. Great history in the area and the hotel. We did have a little difficulty during dinner with language barrier mixing our main courses and part of our order was not given however we received excellent help for an English speaking waiter and the...

Quiet rural setting overlooking the community nestled in the woods yet close enough to access shopping and transportation.

Very Comfortable and Great food Great location on the edge of the woods, Nice and quite and very friendly staff

The hotel is located in a nice accessible location with a good parking space next to the hotel. The atmosphere is nice. Is the hotel. However, our room was too small. We also thought the bathroom was too small.

Friendly staff in a dated hotel. Rooms were a good size but in need of refurb with wallpaper peeling from walls. Beds were too soft and in the end provided a poor night's sleep for the two nights we were there. Had been to this hotel once before, but it had since changed names, so mistakenly booked it again. Draft beer in bar awful. Will make a concerted effort not to book it again!

Almost to easy to find it. The staff were lovely. The room services were ok. House keeping used to come around a bit to early for me. The hotel was always kept clean and tidy which was nice. The swimming pool was nice and it had a sauna. It's next to town I would say a 4 minute walk maybe 5.

I found the building charming and our room very spacious and comfortable. Having breakfast included made it exceptionally well priced compared to other properties in the city. The housekeeping staff in particular does a wonderful job.

Rooms were dated but staff were super friendly and helpful! Super close to restaurants and shops, as well as transit stops. Kind of wished the room was kept a little cooler as the weather was unseasonably warm, but leaving the window open kept the temperature mostly bearable. Breakfast was tasty and espresso machine grinds beans for each serving. Great bar staff as well! Would recommend this hotel...

Rooms are cheap. Fairly large rooms for the price. But they are very old and outdated. Too dark with just a couple of lamps. Breakfast is good. Excellent checkin and check-out procedure. Very close to the centre and hotel is very quiet.

This is the most lovely and affordable place to stay in downtown Nijmegen. The services is wonderful and the owner personally takes care of all guest. Plus, free wine

We had a great stay here while attending a wedding. The room ( with a sauna) was large and really nice. It is the only room on that floor used by guests. There is a private toilet room and a separate bath room on the same floor just for your use. I loved the balcony as well! Also, Paul keeps the room stocked in snacks, wine, soups, and teas. He also offers free wifi. I would definitely stay here again

Great Wi-Fi and location. Perfect for long stays

Front desk staff very helpful

I had a great solo stay here while I was exploring the area that was encompassed by Operation Market Garden in 1944. My room was comfortable and quiet even though it fronted on a main road. The staff could not have been nicer or more helpful. The in-room breakfast was huge and varied with many breads, proteins and fresh fruit. The private parking was secure and necessary! I can not recommend this lovely...

Friendly host, everything you need is provided in room. Great location, comfy beds. Easy walk to train station.

Apartment hotel with balconies and front courtyard with fire tables and couches. Can also use bike provided to tour around the city. The customer service of the staff here was top notch with breakfast provided to your room each morning. Excellent experience and would stay again in a heartbeat.💗

Our room was perfectly appointed, comfortable and easily accessible to everything we wanted to do during our visit. The staff was friendly and helpful and we really enjoyed being able to borrow a bike and go anytime.

Lovely property. Rooms are quite tight but nice atmosphere

The hotel is a 12-mns walk from the train station and the Doornjoose concert hall, which was the purpose of my trip to Nijmegen. The Reception staff was friendly and welcoming (even wished me a happy birthday which was 5 days before...). The room was perfect, from cleanliness to equipment to size. The burger in the middle of the afternoon in the patio was delicious. 4 days later when being home, I...

Small room, sink with open concept. Toilet bowl and shower separated. Individual that needs to do their business in the toilet and uses water to clean themselves rather than a tissue will have a hard time. Everything else was just dark, even the light doesnt really brighten up the room. Using google map, it lead me to another building rather than the hotel itself. And having to do our own check in...

A very nice hotel with nice staff. Would happily stay here again.

This was our second visit to Blue Nijmegen. Once again we were impressed by the staff, meals, cleanliness and comfort. The bed was so comfy that it was difficult to get going in the morning. The only minor downside is that the rooms are a bit snug, especially with the TV at the foot of the bed. We will be back!

Amazing staff at reception, restaurant (cooks and wait staff at breakfast) and room cleaning. Very comfortable and stylish hotel. Easy walk to city centre and train station.

There are amazing culinary skills on full display at this lovely restaurant in Nijmegen. It’s now my 5th time dinning at Manna and it’s been perfect every single time. When you enter it’s obvious to be a seafood lovers paradise with all the freshest ingredients at the bar. However they do everything to the highest level.

We came for the all you can eat seafood, we had a great experience ! Numerous meals and tapas with fish and seafood, with good wine and great service. I recommend, worth the price !

The hotel is well located to start visiting Nijmegen by foot, the building is beautiful and the rooms are well equiped. The first large room had a disgusting smell from the bathroom which made it impossible to stay. We were offered to change to another room of the same size. Both rooms had not been as clean as we expected (especially around the trash bin and in the shower). For breakfast we ordered...

very well deserved 5 star review, for both the hotels (Manna and Blue) as well as the Manna restaurant. We could not have been hosted better yesterday with our group of around 30 people. We felt very welcome, all the staff was friendly, and the restaurant service had the best balance in making you feel at ease whilst be spot on in their service and communication. Great teamwork! Thank you so much for...

I have tried the "fish is the dish" menu but I was a bit disappointed. The oysters were perfect, but the other appetizers were marinated and with sauces that were not quite matching with the ingredients. The raw salmon was a bit strange with teriyaki sauce. There were some Japanese elements in the dishes but at the same time, it was also not really Japanese but European. The mackerel was better that...

Nice Boutique Hotel for a stay in central Nijmegen Design Hotel with amazing features and a lot of stairs. Check in is done at sister hotel Blue as well as a champagne breakfast buffet. Wonderful atmosphere access to plenty of shops, bars and restaurants. Easy walk from the train station for us. Can't wait to return. The staff was amazing and made you feel welcomed. Thanks for a lovely weekend away...

I've been only to the spa and even if the facilities are beautiful and very well maintained, I found it expensive for the few services they offer included in the price. It's mainly one big indoor and outdoor swimming pool with several big jacuzzi's. There's just one small sauna and hamam for that amount of visitors. That was not nice. No option to sit since everything was full, no chairs available...

We reservated an antistress masage. I can say that Danielle, did the best massage I ever had. She has magic hands, i felt relax and confortable. It was like to be reborn. I truly recomended ✨️

The room was clean, spacious, and well maintained, with all amenities in good condition. The service staff were attentive and friendly throughout our stay. However, the overall experience did not live up to the expectations of a four-star hotel. The spa facilities were extremely overcrowded (especially on Saturdays). I was unable to use the sauna at all; every time I opened the door, it was already...

Great time, not too busy on Friday night. Swimming-pool and jacuzzi could be 1-2C warmer. Lovely "A La Carte" dinner. A bit expensive I agree, but we are in The Netherlands.

Fantastic hotel and spa… the thermal space was very relaxing… beautiful indoor/ outdoor bathing pools in a nature setting. There are a variety of pools including 37 degrees, and a 34 degree salt water float pool… both amazing experiences and quite unusual. There was also a salt scrub shower space and 1 sauna/ 1 steam room. The thermal area requires swim suits and robes. Robes and flip flops were included...

So relaxing beautiful clean nice staff great room beautiful pools we loved it

Great staff, amazing location, and convenient parking.

Staff members were excellent! Unique restaurant! Good location.

Really nice,It’s a lovely place to stay.☺️

The staff are very polite. Credible however is a strange word to use when you charge 16 Euros or so for a breakfast and are handed a menu with prices in the restaurant. I was offered a medium breakfast at €9.50 because I asked for scramvled eggs. I was asked if I want spelt bread or a croissant. Both I said. Oh no, it's either or. After arguing the point of honesty with the waiter (still very polite...

This would not be the usual sort of hotel I would book, but Hotel Credible was recommended to me by the person I was visiting. It is a little bit quirky but that is what makes it fantastic. The room itself is small but ideal for a stay of a couple of days. Clean and did not look tired like some big chain hotels. I had a comfy and quiet sleep. I did not have a chance to sample the restaurant in...

This is a very interesting little hotel in Nijmegen, the staff are wonderful and couldn't be more helpful. Our room could have done with a bedside table on both sides of the bed and with the cold stone floor, a rug on each side would also have been nice. The room was bright and airy but the heating was off when we checked in and on the following day, the window was left open in the afternoon on a...

Our room was a good size for us, clean and well-appointed.

Central location. Warm reasonably spacious room, bed comfy. *No lift* Bathroom small and a bit smelly...lack of ventilation and a very noisy macerator goes when you flush. Hairdryer flex broken with exposed wires and blackened from shorting out! Informed staff.. Shaving mirror hanging on the wall by a thread. Walls thin so you can hear the neighbours..Could be cleaner, very dusty around and behind...

Spent a week at the Apollo in order to visit historical sites to commemorate the 80th anniversary of Operation Market Garden. The hotel is well situated, a five minute walk from the railway station. A friendly welcome and easy check in. The room was clean, comfortable and well equipped, suited us just fine . ( I didn't have breakfast so can't comment on that). The hotel has plenty of bars, cafés...

Great staff - most helpful and welcoming. It’s decent for a budget hotel, clean/comfortable enough. What made me return for another stay was the staff - so helpful, happy and polite. Made to feel welcome and genuinely like to help. So if you’re looking for somewhere friendly this is your place!

Stayed here for one night whilst on a business trip as usual hotel was fully booked due to walking festival being on in this week . Reception is basic but very helpfull and room on secound floor facing city was good size clean comfy beds wifi good shower good bathroom is small though . Location is excellent right in town a little noisey in evening but not bad and festival was on . No life so you...

The hotel is situated close to the main train station and right at the city center. It is small and cozy, the staff is friendly, the rooms are clean, the breakfast is fresh and varied. Overall a great experience but it can get a bit noisy during the night outside because of the proximity to the city center.

Great little hotel ideal for short break. Breakfast selection not the greatest but all good quality.

A hotel based on the river waal next to the famous bridge from operation market garden. Delightful staff helpful with a smile. Comfortable rooms next to the city centre.

Comfortable and clean hotel close to bridge and historic centre. Breakfast generous and free.parking was an issue as have a 2.1m van ,but we can recommend parkeer garage kaiser Karel €16 for 24 hours . 20 mins walk away . Was a beautiful evening and stayed eating out and enjoying the city centre .

Convenient location to parks, the river and city center.

Best view of Nijmegen Bridge. Great location with easy walking access to downtown.

The location and the river view. It was very quiet encouraging relaxation

What a nique experience in a lovely top location with extremely nice and helpful owners, what more do you want. A must-do!

Had a great stay on the boat! I was part of a wedding group staying here and was lucky to get the upper apartment which was so cool! Very authentic feeling but all the modern amenities and the bed was very comfy! The staff was really friendly and helpful, I enjoyed a delicious coffee on their top deck patio. Just such a cool experience if you're looking for something unique in Nijmegen!

Whilst transporting a boat down the Rhine, we stopped in Nijmegen for the evening before continuing our journey down river. This was the perfect place to spend the night for some drinks and food. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming and the interior decor filled with interesting trinkets and artefacts meant that in every corner there was something to catch your eye. The staff were very friendly and...

The vibe was great, the lounge area/restaurant was so cosy. We loved chatting with the stuff - super friendly international students. The apartment was really authentic, with comfortable beds, bathtub and so much space.

Sweet place. A bit like a Dutch San Diego Ocean Beach. Lots of nature trails, bike paths, beaches. Chill place and people. Easy access to buses, museum, park, etc.

Charming, bohemic and relaxed place. Definitely coming back 💕

Staff - welcoming, helpful and friendly. Room - good size, clean, comfortable. Could be described as “no frills” but for a short break perfectly adequate. Location - could not be better. Probably less than 5 minutes walk to train/bus station and 10 minutes into the city centre.

Good but the room was cold even having the heaters turned on, one of the heater was not working

Well maintained and a great location.

Good location to the train station. And to the center of town.

Nice, convenient and safe. Interestingly, had a fridge, sink, hot plate and dishwasher but no pots or dinnerware.

Modern hotel located in an ideal location in central Nijmegen, less than 5 minutes on foot from the central station and the busy quarters. The room was spacious, quiet and comfortable. I was a little surprised at the inclusion of a small kitchen but no utensils or other equipment to actually use in cooking - who's it for? That said, it didn't impact my stay in any way. There is no AC, but a fan was...

Perfect for short stay due to trainstation next door. A little expensive though.

I really liked the hotel. The location is perfect, the staff is always friendly and very polite. Thank you for your work.

The hotel boasts a very convenient location, with friendly staff and rooms of a decent size. Additionally, the breakfast is fantastic.

Very kind and smiling. Thanks a lot!

It was an okay experience. I’ve stayed here before mostly due to the convenient location of being next to the train station, however I feel the hotel needs an update. Light switches were not working properly in the room and it left a tired feel to the property. The management team should consider updating the facilities to reflect most Mercure hotels

Friendly and helpful staffs. Great location next to train station. Quiet room. Have free bike storage room. Superb.

It's great to gather with your friends for anything, in a very nice location. The burger I tried was mid, nothing particularly good about it but also not too bad. Other restaurants might ask you how well cooked you want your meat, but here they don't and it's well done. Beer is attempted to be served cold, but I guess with the warm weather of this year, plastic carafes are not good enough to keep the...

Nice little room; quiet, but very close to the city centre; Perfect for one or two nights

Such a nice place this is. So nice for coffee or drinks. As well for dinner or some more. They have really good choices pf beer and vine. Lovely place outside to enjoy in nature and the best place to look at central of Nijmegen. Love this place. Service is top and prices are good. Lovely place wher you feel real spirint of Nijmegen.

The food was OK, had their prawns and Angus burger. For the prawns, they could have served it with a sauce since it was to be eaten with bread. The burger was good, with a good dose of jalapeños in it. I'd say that the service was quite good, the staff were always on hand whenever you needed something.

Great place! We had a big celebration there and we were treated really good. Also nice food!

Great place at a magnificent location on top of a Brewery. The, food is OK, but the beers are by far the best in Town!, also their rooms are stunning and not expensive for a night stay.

Staff was very friendly and the room was stellar. It had a great view of the city, modern amenities and a Nespresso machine!

Overnight stay, parking was only issue

Excellent location and very nice room style Very nice hotel and location, they did a great job with the room style in a small space. I was happy with the hotel and was comfortable and would like to come back.

This is a small hotel in a beautiful building close to the Nijmegen city centre, within easy walking distance from the train station and with ample restaurants, bars and shopping just outside. Despite the location, my room was quiet, pleasantly cool thanks to the air conditioning, and I enjoyed excellent sleep. I also found the room to be clean and reasonably well maintained. However - even given...

My husband and I stayed at the DePrince for a month, and the stay was very good. The hotel is very good, the service is very good, the people who serve are very friendly. We have felt at home. We recommend the hotel. We hope to return soon. The location is excellent; It was a good choice

This is a unique place. You get what amounts to a kitchen-free studio apartment in 200- or 300-year-old building that’ll managed by a hotel-like front desk, rather by some remote AirBnB office. You live roughly the way a Dutch person in a historic build does, which means weird (but modern, clean) bathrooms, lots of steep stairs, etc. If you have trouble with stairs, you need to talk to the hotel...

The placement of the toilet isn't good.

Location is very good, service is okay. Cleanliness could have been better. Beds are very uncomfortable.

The hotel is located in the center, which is very convenient if you are visiting. Overall, I liked it. The room is not large but comfortable with an interesting interior. I really liked the hotel interior.

The hotel is fantastically located in the city center. There's no staff on site. In the evening, the lobby had been transformed into a bicycle shed. Unfortunately, the room was only half vacuumed. Coffee, tea, and water were provided in the room, but the kettle was completely calcified. Water from the shower floods the entire bathroom floor. For breakfast, you have to go to another hotel down the street...

The room and bathroom were wonderfully spacious. The location was great, on a charming street. There were also plenty of places to eat breakfast.

Good value for money. However, the cups in the room weren't replaced. Otherwise, a great stay.

The hotel was great. Would have appreciated a heads up on the constructon in the area as it would have saved me the 4 attempts to find my way in at night, but otherwise the room was comfortable, our special requests were accomodated and the staff was very friendly. The restaurant food in the evening was quite nice, though somewhat limited in selection. Breakfast value to money was maybe not what...

Hotel needs upgrading. The safe in the room didn't work. Construction going on all around the hotel and it is very difficult to drive to. There is no easy access to the building from the underground parking. Staff were generally helpful.

Did a review already. Please choose staying not facing the field.

The hotel is good and cozy. I love it❤️

The rooms are spacious and well decorated and equipped. The bathroom is large with walk in shower. Parking is on site via a secure access gate. We ate at the hotel twice and the food was good in both quality and portion size. The hotel is a taxi ride into the centre of Nijmegen. There isn't much within walking distance, so if you are looking for something in walking distance of bars and cafe's this...

A beautiful hotel. Excellent service, there had been smoke in the room so it smelled really bad. We got a new room without any problem.

Great Location with nice view!

Train and bus very close to hotel making travel in the area very easy.

Free parking in a garage attached to the hotel is very nice and convenient. Rooms are spacious and modern. Nice views and the breakfast was excellent! Easy transport with a bus stop near by or the train station. Walking or biking is also easy to do. Highly recommended.

Very nice hotel, corner room offers great views of the city. Shower works great! Bar and restaurant staff are slow and do not offer to refill drinks or acknowledge customers but this was the only minus for the property.

Front desk staff was courteous and professional. The corner room on the ninth floor had a great view. Open bathroom is a little strange and toilet is extremely small. Compared to other van der Valk properties this one ranks much lower than others. Very slow internet, little choice of TV stations, no streaming services etc.

This hotel is quite modern and has an excellent price / quality ratio. Located close to.the railway station and a highway it is very functional and quite at the same time. Breakfast is good. Bar is cool..A restaurant is available in house. The hotel claims to receive the best NL hotel award from one of the hotel online platforms in.the Netherlands

Comfortable hotel with great facilities, free parking and big, nice, clean rooms, just in the outskirts of Nijmegen. It's not at walk distance of anything relevant and views are not amazing, but price is very affordable and very well set against services. Perfect for a short stay using the car in the neighborhood.

Basic hotel in industrial area. Nice industrial styling, room big enough, great beds. The room did not have a lot af ameneties (no water boiler etc) but the good atmosphere of the place and the very friendly staff more than made up for this. I was too late for dinner. Staff suggested ordering some bar food and that turned out to be excellent. Highly recommend the nachos!!! Also great rooftop bar. ...

We stayed here several times, both as a couple and as a family with 2 children in the age of 7 and 9 yo. Perfect location to reach city centre and University by (rental) bike. Silent airy rooms. Good parking space. Small playground. Unfortunately the excellent restaurant has been closed, but we were allowed to bring your own meal and have it at the tables in the restaurant. There are restaurants on...

Absolutely delightful experience. This hotel is the embodiment of not what it seems, in the best way possible. All the pictures do not do it justice. You enter and you immediately feel comfortable, like you're at home. Very very beautiful.

Nice looking hotel with industrial minimal look. Friendly personnel at reception Breakfast is minimal as variety but with fresh food. Hairdryer not present in the room is a minus however (for business trip)

We stayed here for one night as a family of 5. The room was large with a double bed, bunk bed and a sofa bed. There was a table and chairs for eating and we ordered an UberEats. The staff were friendly, room was clean and there is parking behind the hotel. We sat in the garden and had a drink while the children played on the swings and ground trampoline. We drove into town and had a lovely walk around...
