Reviews
However, the overall experience did not live up to the expectations of a four-star hotel. The spa facilities were extremely overcrowded (especially on Saturdays). I was unable to use the sauna at all; every time I opened the door, it was already full. The same applied to the steam bath and whirlpools. As a result, the spa felt more stressful than relaxing.
The outdoor pools were slightly more enjoyable, but overall the spa offering does not justify the price. More saunas are clearly needed—one sauna for the entire spa is insufficient—and there should be a wider range of treatments available. I also missed sound-healing sessions, which are commonly offered in comparable spas.
The “worldwide banquet” dinner was underwhelming and did not meet expectations.
Overall, the stay was acceptable, but I left with the feeling that the experience did not fully reflect what I paid for.
There's just one small sauna and hamam for that amount of visitors. That was not nice. No option to sit since everything was full, no chairs available.
Shampoo and gel were not offered.
Parking is paid.
I truly recomended ✨️
Swimming-pool and jacuzzi could be 1-2C warmer.
Lovely "A La Carte" dinner.
A bit expensive I agree, but we are in The Netherlands.
They charge €9.50 for you to borrow a bathrobe. They charge €8.95 to lend you a towel. They charge €3.50 to replace your bathrobe with a dry one and $1.50 to replace your wet towel. Then they’ll add a 60 euro deposit to make sure they get their bathrobe and towel back since obviously you’d like to keep it as it feels like you’re buying them at these prices.
After that fun starting event and paying €27.50 to get in you’ll get dirty pools, one sauna smaller then the average dutch built in closet and one steamroom. You have acces to a lousy buffet for another €42 and overpriced treatments where you also pay additional fees in the range of €20. The place is just a rip off. They don’t even play spa music you get to listen to some 90’s music radio channel in their eating facility. And when you leave you get another royal Dutch service which is obviously to pay for the parking. You get the advise of paying €8.50 for their parking lots since; “the machine outside charges you even more”. This is insane charging for parking but I guess Holland is the world’s king in charging people for parking. Just dumb when we visit such a lousy spa they also dare to charge you for their own parking lot. My advise is to drive to Germany or Belgium to go to a real spa and then you can go home feeling relaxed iso feeling ripped off by thieves. It’s outrageous this place gets a 4+ rating. Worst place ever visited.
Comparing to the extremly high cost, the hotel facilities are very outdated, old, bad smell in a toilet and no room temperature controller.
The Spa is not luxurious at all and almost same as a swimming pool. Totally does not make sense to pay the high cost for the swimming pool.
Also, too many people and it is not maintained well.
Very disappointed.
Even a star is too good for the hotel review.
