Hotels in Zaandam

Dirty was the main problem, I found hairs on my bed sheet upon arrival, and even I requested daily changing of towels and empty the rubbish bins, it was not performed daily. Though the location was not too convenient to city centre, the hotel itself was located close to Zaandam station was the advantage.

I love how near it is to the train station, and with supermarket nearby, the room is clean too.

Convenient stay at Zaan Hotel Zaandam! Prime spot right next to the train station—12-min ride to Amsterdam. Clean, modern rooms with Nespresso, friendly staff, great breakfast. Ideal base for city trips & Zaanse Schans. Solid value!

Pretty building! Known as the ‘Lego hotel’ situated in Zaandam. Very near to the Zaandam station and checking in was a breeze too. Primark is also located opposite the hotel with lots of eateries nearby even halal options. And it is also two station away if you’re visiting Zaanse Schans. I would stay here again if I come back to Amsterdam.

The hotel provided a generally pleasant stay. Breakfast had a limited selection but was acceptable. The location was fine and convenient enough for getting around. The room was comfortable and met expectations. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout the stay. Having a car park available was a definite advantage, especially for guests traveling by car.

The hotel facade is just so quirky. Room size is just noce for 2 people & 2 large luggages. Clean room and our window were facing the mall. Primark is just next to it. Location is not in central Amsterdam but we are good with this as we did not want to be in the city. Place is safe and just a train ride away to the center.

Right next to train station. Staff allowed to check in early and Sauna/Steam Room and Pool were a great way to relax.

Stayed during Ade festival. Staff where lovely and beds where comfortable however getting in and out of the hotel?!…. You have to walk all the way round the back of the hotel to get in and out of it! It’s right next to a motorway currently being built so it was quite inconvenient

Location is too far away from the Amsterdam city center, no restaurants nearby or even pedestrian lanes or bike rentals. So we had to order Uber constantly. The room was overall okay, however the central heating wasn't doing anything so it was cold. The floor was cold too, and they didn't provide you with hotel slippers or anything. One of the cleaning ladies went into my room, right after I checked...

Everything is clean. The location is almost next to the zaandam station, so very convenient. The view is good too. Really recommend! You can small weeds outside the room though

The easyHotel at Zaandam is only 3 minutes walk from the Zaandam station which is only 2 stations away, 15 minutes train ride, from Amsterdam Centraal Station. The hotel is great, and the facilities are good too. It's located very close to Zaandam train station, making transportation really convenient. The town of Zaandam itself, near the hotel, is also lovely to explore and very lively, with all the food, drinks, and essentials you might need readily available.

It was nice hotel but getting to it was bad we were using public transportation and there was construction so we had to go over a bridge to get to it and my sister is afraid of heights so it was a bad experience but the hotel itself was nice

We chose this place for the convenient parking, and it was also a good base for exploring.

Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay. While the hotel isn't large, it's well-equipped with everything one might need. It's located outside Amsterdam's city center (though only a 10-minute drive away), and despite the lack of immediate scenic surroundings, this didn't bother us at all; it actually made for a very peaceful and quiet stay. Love staying here every year when we visit. A few things have been changed “updated” since our last visit. While I understand them I think it was perfect before the changes. Still about to book our trip for next year! Location is great, everyone is friendly.

Nice modern rooms. Nice comfy bed and pillows and good heating. Not entirely clean we found rose petals in our room which we hadn’t brought and had to ask for dressing gowns as on ******* states that’s what you get given. Also doesn’t sleep 3 people in one room like states - my friend had to sleep on the sofa bit which isn’t a bed. Overall not the best but not the worst.

I was overall pretty disappointed with this hotel. It's right in the middle of a plaza of bars -- which will either be a great thing or terrible thing based on your preference -- but it does make the stay noisy and not very relaxing. The condition of the hotel was also questionable. There was a musty smell that pervaded the whole hotel and my room, the hot water never really worked, and the mattress...

The location was perfect , the room was okey. But so much noises in the hallway that kind of keep us awake. Door slamming, loud talking.

Best hotel experience, beautiful location, great nightlife, the staff are amazing (even gave us a free cocktail) I would totally recommend booking!! this was the best trip we’ve ever taken 😆😆
