Great hotel to stay, spacious rooms , bathroom and we love the skybar. The bib gourmand restaurant is delicious.

very nice welcoming at the reception, very friendly.and efficient. safe bike storage inside a meeting room, highly appreciated. the room is spacious, clean and everything works well. location is convenient with several supermarkets around. will come again

Beautiful hotel, nice entrance/reception hall. Nice rooms, nice beds and also nice pillows once.

The hotel rooms are spacious and the equipment needs to be updated. Breakfast was pretty good with a variety of choices. The location is not far from the old town and can be walked. Has its own parking lot. Overall good value for money.

The room is mostly clean. But at the top mirror and some parts that normally people dont pay attention, I saw dust. The location is not far from city center. The breakfast doesnt have much options. Overall it is good hotel to stay. I was expected they had wellness tho!

Post Plaza Leewarden Hotel post plaza is always a solid choice. All of the staff are excellent and friendly and the rooms are clean and of good quality. Convenient to downtown. Breakast is good too.

Great location beautiful town

We had a great stay with really good service, food and comfort. We even received a room upgrade. The location is also ideal. We would be happy to come back and recommend the hotel and restaurant.

The staff were very helpful. The room was very good. The dinner was exceptionally good. We had the Dutch Cuisine prefixe. The hotel location is excellent.

Lovely Hotel. Staff is very friendly, the Rooms are clean and look the same as on their website. The breakfast buffet is rich and has a lot to choose from. Croissants, loaf rolls, bread, cheese, sausages, pancakes etc. We will definitely come back one day!

One of the main reasons I booked this hotel was it being a historic hotel, the website showed very nice pictures, but unfortunately the hotel is currently undergoing renovations, which were not mentioned at reservation time. Most of the hotel is off limits due to the renovations, leaving only Motel experience for the guests. The service staff are great and took steps to mitigate the situation.  But...

The room is old. I stayed there for more than 10 days. The potato chips I dropped were still on the floor the next day. I wiped the dust off the table and bedside table by myself. I only dusted the quilt and changed the garbage bag in the room.

Booked two nights, first night no sleep because of drunk guests. T****e night no sleep because of the gnawing of mice. The gentleman at the reception was very friendly by the way. Food at the restaurant was fine, breakfast for that price mediocre.

Friendly staff and clean hotel. Restaurant/bar was good and reasonable value. Our corner room had lots of light, but a really small bathroom- awkward for tall people. Some traffic noise at front of hotel. Good enough for the cost.

It is OK to stay for a night but it is a little far from the center. It really needs blackouts as the room gets super hot in high temperatures. Breakfast is good. Staff is friendly. Wifi is good and the restaurant is kept cool.

We didn't stay overnight in the hotel, we came just for eat in their restaurant. I do really like their salad salmon. Also their cassava chips!

The rooms were clean and warm. The view is great. 🏞️ One special advantage of the hotel is that if you tell them not to clean your room, you will receive a voucher for 5 euro(for every day they do not clean the room) and the voucher can be used in their restaurant. 🍽️ #hotelife #travelgram #vacationmode

Has potential when construction is finished. Out of the main city if that’s what you’re looking for. Large rooms, nice amenities in the room.

A smile doesn't hurt...but nice hotel Nice hotel ... reception ladies could learn to smile and greet more. The restaurant food was bad...looked nice, but was not impressed

You’d expect a lot more of the basics for the price. Paper coffee cups instead of real ones. No wine glasses. No mini-bar. No bottle opener. The room was clean and lacking anything that could make it homely. Would I stay here again. In short, not for the price. Don’t be fooled into thinking this is a luxury standard facility.

I like the property alot looks very beautiful and luxury but the only thing that bothered me was no atm in the hotel and no way of public transport to the hotel , those are very vital things for people that need transport or money

Nice, quite new, clean hotel just nearby Leeuwarden. Friendly staff. Menu not in English, as typical here. But everyone are speaking English enough. If you want peace and view, choose room in back side, heading towards city. If you want sun and do not mind highway and parking lot, choose front side room. Local specialty is shared balcony for entire floor.

Reasonable stay in relation to budget price.

The welcome and explanation about the stay were adequate. Amenities were tailored to the price (or vice versa), and I called in advance. What I missed was a Wi-Fi password. I ate elsewhere, so I can't comment on the service at 't Anker, except for the breakfast. It was basic but adequate.

What a fantastic place, lovely apartment, delicious breakfast, lovely hostess. Truly fantastic. We had a wonderful weekend in Leeuwarden with two friends. The location and accommodation couldn't have been better.

A very beautiful and cozy place to stay. The owners were very accommodating, thoughtful and straight forward, and run a very clean and homely environment. Honestly, it was too much room for one person. I highly recommend it for single people who like space and for those with family who would prefer it.

Beautiful house in a great location. A few things that needed repair, but were already mentioned in reviews from March 2019 and haven't been addressed. Service and contact were subpar, unfriendly rules, unclear payment requests upfront, and "penalties" for checking out even a minute late.

This is a fantastic house/hotel. Looks like the pictures. Excellent service - since you are alone in the house you must call. The location is really central, but no noice at night time. I recommend!
