Great hotel with a boutique feel. Second time in this tasteful, impeccably clean hotel. Great area, very central. And they do their best to bring a personal touch (they remembered we were there to see our son). Our preference goes to firmer mattresses and pillows but that is subjective. Great room will quality amenities. Worth every penny 🥂

This is by far one of the best experiences a traveler can go through From the front desk staff to the HK , restaurant are amazing and professional Breakfast is a Champagne breakfast Do try and eat dinner and choose the chefs menu (three course meal) and then top it off with Norman’s Negroni Rooms are so big and beds are super comfortable Overall wonderful experience and probably one of the best stays you can experience

Our room was beautiful and much more spacious than I was expecting. Service was always friendly and helpful. We could not have been more pleased with the whole experience. The location was perfect. I loved that I could always find it from the bell tower if I got turned around.

I had a very pleasant stay at the hotel for one night. The rooms were clean and fully equipped, with comfortable beds and bathrooms. The location is superb. There was no reason for any complaints.

We were a group of 6 meeting up in Groningen for a nostalgic reunion. In planning our visit, we discovered the Hotel Prinsenhof. It was perfect! Location excellent - convenient to the Grote Markt which meant an easy stroll to the "action" and best sights while providing a cozy quiet place to retire to. The staff was excellent. very helpful and wonderfully responsive to our every need. The rooms were well designed and smartly equipped. The food and drink award winning.

Absolutely outstanding service across all departments, lush gardens, well maintained grounds & high hygiene standards! Beautifully decorated rooms (every one of them is unique!) with well preserved history of this fantastic property, right in the heart of the busy city - yet it’s a peaceful, green, well hidden gem! This is probably the best night sleep we’ve ever had (amongst all other hotels we have visited in different parts of the world), so much that we purchased some pillows! We highly appreciate your kindness, generous talks, delicious food & outstanding wine selection, but most importantly - your gracious service! A heartfelt thank you to ALL of you (in front & behind the scene) for looking after our comfort, but especially to Ann, Brit, Jasper, Earde & Sam. We’re excited for our return soon!

We are regular customers here because usually we like it, but after my last stay I am not sure I will return. So apparently the hotel has a ventilation system which is supposed to turn off at 11:00 o’clock in the evening. As it says it is a ventilation system and therefore it makes quite some noise. You obviously don’t notice it that much during daytime or at least it’s not really disturbing, but there is obviously a reason why they usually turn it off at night time. It is the second time now within a couple of months that I have been there and it didn’t turn off. Which means you have a constant noise at night time in your room. They can’t do anything about it at the front desk. The only thing you can do is wait till the next day and just don’t get any sleep. Last time they were at least quite apologetic about it. This time I had to mention it when checking out. Their only response was that they will check it today. Really great so the next guests can sleep in silence. I have to say I was pretty surprised by the ignorance of the staff.

Fabulous hotel in a beautiful setting with an excellent standard of customer service. We were checked in by Brechtje (hope that is correct spelling) on afternoon of Friday 11th. She was genuinely warm, welcoming and friendly which was lovely. Not only did she do the basics of sorting out our parking, she also went the extra mile and arranged a kettle, black teabags and big glasses for us, as she knew that people from UK don’t do tiny cups of coffee! That kind of customer knowledge and service is invaluable and she is a credit to the hotel. We are only sorry that we didn’t see her again at the end of our stay.

This delightful hotel is a small with less than 40 in a complex of old buildings. Our room on the top floor was spacious and very enjoyable for us who really like old buildings. We loved everything about it and the exceptionally large bathroom. The bathtub was the longest and in the most beautiful and spacious settings that I have ever seen. Unfortunately, we never use bathtubs. The shower was also nice but not as special. Our window view was over an exceptionally beautiful garden in the old traditional French stile. Unfortunately, we visited it a month early, before all things start blooming. The bed was large and soft, which I prefer. The staff is helpful and nice in all ways. The breakfast is also God, but not special. In all it is a perfect hotel fore those who love beautiful old houses.
