Very nice hostel to stay a bit (Kristiansand is very small…). 1/ The breakfast buffet is definitely amazing and everything is super tasty! 2/ The room is clean, but a bit dark, I would have preferred a bit more lights. 3/ The staff is kind. 4/ The location is practical (because really central), but the view on the containers from the room is not amazing I admit. Overall, good experience ◡̈

The staff was very kind and helpful. The first room we got had some issued and we got a new room that was even better. The breakfast buffet was good, and overall the hotel too. Almost everything right beside the hotel. We had a good stay!

Best hotel option in Kristiansand, perfect place for car spotting there’s sometimes cool cars outside like a Ferrari or Lamborghini’s the hotel itself is cozy and well built the atmosphere is perfect. And the food it on point, I’ve been here countless times and will definitely return!

The location of the hotel is great and there is a parking garage and street parking available. Of course it is not free.

Kristinsand Bystranda. Arrived withboat from Denmark at 00:30. smoothless check in and parking in the garage in basement below. Excellent breakfast and gym. Had a strall in Kristiansand after check out, beutiful. Highly recommended.

Scandic Kristiansand Our weekend stay was excellent despite the staff being busy with a convention.

Not used to European Hotels but there were no tissues or a garbage can capable of holding anything above a few tissues. We did not want cleaning service so it was a bit of an issue for me. Bed was more comfortable than expected and the room was nice. Necessities only which was fine. Breakfast was outstanding at the restaurant.

This hotel really exceeded my expectations. Kristiansand itself is a beautiful little town, and this hotel is also great. It is in a commercial area where you can go shopping and eat. The breakfast in the hotel is average, but the room is very clean and comfortable. The front desk is also very good and has a warm and welcoming atmosphere. I highly recommend it.

I liked the breakfast at this hotel; it was a buffet and very delicious. There are several restaurants nearby, and it's quite quiet at night. I recommend staying here; the price is reasonable. There's a supermarket nearby, just a few minutes' walk away, where you can buy salmon sashimi, which is delicious.

I often stay at Thon hotels when traveling for business. This one is a bit more relaxed, and it's very conveniently located next to a church. By Scandinavian hotel standards, the service is acceptable. The rooms are large with radiators, and the bathrooms are small but have underfloor heating.

Highly Recommended Amazing Hotel, Staff are very friendly and helpful! Next to the Safari Park, I couldn't visit as I was travelling for business so arrived late and left early for the Airport but will definitely visit again. Amazing for families but I felt very comfortable and welcome as a lone traveller. Very Clean.

Central location and very nice breakfast for the price per night. Super soft mattress, couldn’t sleep for 2 nights. There’s a column in the bedroom that starts playing music and saying something in local language and you can’t turn it off. Not good experience

From the heart of a Thai girl who eats papaya salad, breakfast is very good, especially the chia pudding topped with coconut and grains is the best.

I’ve been at this hotel for a week and everything’s been fine. I switched to this room for one night and I love it, kettle, coffee machine like usual, and best of all, a fridge. I just wish there was a plug next to the bed to charge my phone more easily.

This hotel was in a great location in the centre of kristiansand with easy walking to everywhere ! Plus they had parking next to the hotel although they charge and have no ev chargers . But we had a great stay .

Clean but no food Nice hotel even though the location is a bit off. The hotel restaurant was closed for the summer and the only food you could buy was youghurt, chocolate and crisps. Not even any sandwiches. The ice cream box was nearly empty even though it’s early August. On the positive side, clean rooms and bathrooms. The breakfast room was located on floor 21 with great views and good food.

Good facilities and breakfast. Room size is OK, but bathroom very small. In our room there was a blind wall direct behind the window, so no view and a bit dark. Didn’t bother us though.

It was annoying that we should pay higher amount of money for this 5 star camping and we choosed to have electricity included -and then we still needed to pay 30kr for shower using a QR code and credit card. We had a fantastic eight course meal and wine pairing at Boen Gård. The atmosphere is also perfect.

We tried 10 course dinner . Score is 7 of 10. The chef hade some problems with balance the courses . But the servic was impeccable!! Can also say the same about the rooms and facilities. Good and a place I really want to recommend. But be aware the prices is a bit steep. 1 night with 10 course 4 glasses of champagne 7700 Norwegian kroner. Around 760 euro :)
