Diwan Al Amir in Khasab

The breakfast is really bad, every day the same egyptian foul.
The rooms are ok but the bathrooms are old, broken toilet.
AC command is broken can't set the temperature.
This hotel is expensive for what it is and it needs to be completely renewed

I have never been to any worse hotel in my life, totally unrecommended. Very bad quality rooms and the lobby smells like rotten couches dust is everywhere. Bathrooms are very dirty and smells terrible I can’t really understand how is this a 3 star hotel on a scale to 10 I wouldn’t give it a 1. Pricers are so overpriced considering the services they offer. Breakfast is so simple and nothing in it tasted good or not even normal I’m highly disappointed. What made things worse is that the A/C didn’t work properly and it smelled so so bad to the point where it was making me feel like throwing up

Staying here just makes you sad, don’t recommend staying here at all.

This is THE WORST possible hotel in Khasab! The management is not at all bothered to change or improve since they know that Khasab has very limited hotels and all of them get booked during peak season. We stayed in this pathetic hotel for 2 nights during the May'22 Eid Holidays.
1. During our entire stay, our room never had been cleaned, the bedsheets hadn't been changed. The phone from the room doesn't work so one needs to go down to the reception and ask or complain about anything and everything.
2. They do not have sufficient towels, we were provided with just 1 bathing towel that they asked to share between the two of us. Upon arguing with the receptionist, he provided one "hand towel" as if he was doing a favor and said that all the other towels have gone for laundry. He gave me this reason throughout my entire stay.
3. The so-called "free" breakfast is so awful that one can barely have it. Also the breakfast timings are 7am to 10am but if you go at around 9am everything is over. They do not refill any item whatsoever.
4. The entire staff of this hotel is absolutely useless, unfriendly and not at all helpful.
The management of this hotel is not at all bothered to take anything into consideration and are absolutely useless.
We had stayed in Khasab for a total of 7 nights and we had been hotel hopping every 2 nights.
to Summarize, There are only 2 good hotels in Khasab, Atana Khasab and Atana Musandham. Do not even bother to stay in any of the other hotels. If the Atana hotels do not fall in your budget then go for camping. Bassa Beach is really good for camping. It has a public toilet too so things are pretty sorted.
Diwan Al Amir is a BIG NO unless you want to waste your money for nothing.

Stayed one night at Junior suit with my family

+ Good location near Kasab port
+ Receptionist was behaving professionally
+ Even though breakfast buffet was cheap, there was multiple options
- Operations/ Floor management is worst
- Wi-Fi connection was free. But it was working worse than dial up modem
- Asked for an extra bed, the room boy just dumped on the room and ran away

- Bathrooms had black fungus on the silicon applications
- Telephone and TV was not working
-Bathrooms wasn’t
