Travelled here with friends in a chilly January. The hotel is in a very good location and easy stroll to the old town and river. The interior public spaces were very striking and the exterior has a lotto see too. Worth reading up on the varied history. Rooms are less fancy but were comfortable and had what we needed. Staff were helpful. It was easy to get to and from via public transport from the airport.

Our second stay at the hotel - we absolutely love it. It is a very beautiful historic building set in a central location in Bydgoszcz. It has an old world charm. An impressive staircase and windows and many art deco features. Our rooms have been spacious, comfortable with a good shower & bath and all the facilities you need for a comfortable stay. The staff are all very mannerly, professional and hard working. Breakfast is excellent- lots of choice and plenty of juices and hot drinks. The restaurant is excellent and the food served is delicious.

Another great stay, everything as expected. I love this hotel and it's convenience. Turn right for the city centre. Turn left for old town. Both within very easy walking distance.

Rooms can vary in size and guests mostly can expect very traditional feel. Hotel has quite interesting history behind and its staff are very helpful in providing information. Prompt responses online and always professional assistance. Location is perfect, however it is very noisy, as it is directly on Main Street with trams (Gdańska Str). Don’t let this however to pass this place- it is one of a kind experience and what is really a cherry on the top is the breakfast and beautiful, spacious restaurant. AC units are not present but guests have possibility of using ventilation.

I stayed in this hotel in 2013 when I came to Poland for training...the hotel staff were extremely cordial and helpful, rooms very clean and I found the breakfast buffet amazing...definitely recommend it.

Very fancy hotel. Clean rooms with stand up shower, tub, TV, fan, and furniture. The breakfast was the best breakfast I've ever had in a hotel. They have a gym with some of the bare essentials, but there is also an outdoor gym with bars at the park nearby. The service was outstanding.

Property is historic and in a great spot in the city .. bar across street can get loud at night . Tram is on the street so easy transport everywhere . Main parts of city are walking distance.. rooms have no AC But lots of windows that can be opened for fresh air . Rooms are very spacious and comfortable , sleeps 2 safely , sofa bed is good for a child

The building has historic charm, but the place feels neglected. My room had a strong musty smell and didn’t match the photos online. For what I paid, I expected much better. Disappointing overall.
