Fairly good hotel in Poznan. Restaurant excellent. Good for business visitors - for romance make shure you get a room with round beds.

Not so nice anymore
I used to like this hotel but not anymore. OK, the room was nice, the restaurant excellent but they have started to make parking come with a fee. This without making this clear to me as a returning visitor.

The staff at the Vivaldi were very courteous and very helpful. More than happy to answer any questions we had like where certain things were in the city or to get a bucket of ice after hours. The facility was very clean and well maintained. We paid for the breakfast buffet for the entire week that we were there. It was good but was the same every day. Some changes from day to day would have been nice.

Arrived and asked a few questions before I paid 231zl for a single room. I'm a solo backpacker so used to hostels etc, so thought to treat myself on this hotel before a flight.

Problems:
TV buttons worn out on remote control

Room door handle appears damaged

TV has a Smart TV function, which doesn't work unless you add the wifi after inputting the Tvs password, which none of the staff knows. Receptionist at night was brand new and couldn't answer many of my questions, didn't even know how to work the TV.

The room it self is nice, plenty space and such. Bathroom is nice, but wallpaper pealing away and shower head is dirty, shower rooms don't seem to want to close either. Has mini bar and A/C.

I paid 231zl for this. It's worth maybe 100zl. Should have went for a usual hostel.

Excellent hotel that surprised me in a positive way. I got a designer-room with a round bed - very nice indeed. Breakfast excellent. Internet was also excellent, fast and easy to connect to (which is rare in European hotels). The restaurant was also excellent at fair prices. Several tramlines very near the hotel made travel easy.

A good place to stay at, good service. The shower head needs a bit maintenance, but overall is OK, quiet at night, good sleelp. Food in the restaurant is also very good with nice service.

An excellent hotel in Poznan. We had a rental car with us so needed parking, and there is paid parking very nearby, just behind the hotel. Very large modern rooms. The location is about 30 minute walk from the Old Town, so some travellers might want to be closer, but if you have a car or want to walk or take a taxi, it's not a problem. Lovely park nearby. Affordable prices. Very friendly and helpful staff. No complaints.
