Wonderful hotel. One of the best I’ve stayed in, in Europe. Think I got an upgrade, stayed on 11th floor, room was massive with stand alone bath, and seperate shower. Mini bar, coffee machine, kettle, complimentary water, and apples in the hall. Only had breakfast one day as had to leave early on second morning, due to Storm Ingrid. But breakfast was great, buffet with huge selection of hot & cold...

All good but not outstanding - parking in front of building convenient

My husband and I enjoyed our stay. Nice hotel and our room was clean and comfortable. Our stay was short so we didn’t have time to explore much.

Breakfast had wide range of options and good quality food. The staff were polite and accommodating. Clean and lovely atmosphere.

The experience was great. The only thing I missed was skimmed milk at breakfast. The staff were very attentive and I would definitely return.

Not a 5 star hotel! Need to hire a bell captain, have support staff for outside to help with luggage. We had our luggages on hold while we were waiting for the room to get ready, and instead of them bringing it to us when we presented the ticket, we had to go back and find our luggages ourselves!! Great breakfast buffet and nice service when we asked them to hire a hair dresses for us to come to...

All good but mattress not comfortable

Great hotel near the station. Small room, but has everything you need. Cons - uncomfortable pillows, there were 4 to choose from and all with lumps inside. There is a restaurant on the first floor, you can see the menu in the elevator, very good and relatively inexpensive.

the place is nice, near the city center, bus station and train station. I like the staff there, their service is good and friendly.

The hotel is beside train station, with big car park and walking distance to the city centre. It is a simple hotel but safe and walkable to everywhere.

The location of the hotel is very good, right next to the train station. The male waiter had a bad attitude, was very slow in doing things, and was not actively cooperative. Also, while I was sleeping, the cleaners tried to force open my room door twice. I used The magic weapon that prevents the door from opening was locked inside, so it was not opened.

Great location just the opposite of the Cathedral Bom Jesus. Very quiet place, comfortable beds in the room. Good spa section with sauna and steam room. Indoor swimming pool is not very big, but has wonderful view of Braga city. Breakfast is rather poor for a 4 stars hotel.

Lovely hotel in a lovely setting. The only reason why you might not give 5* for location was the distance to the centre, it's as small gripe, but you know that when booking. Beautiful view of Braga and lots of steps to climb. A short walk up the hill and there's a bar/coffee shop overlooking the boating pond. Lots of great (and tough) walks.

Enter to this hotel just to get a cup of coffee, the bar/lobby area is clean and beautiful decoration. The bathrooms are clean, not the best coffee but not the worst. Was a nice spot to stop by and continue to walk around.

Loves the environment. Just next to the famous tourist spot and room decor is new. Reception is very friendly. The only complaint is there’s not enough room amenities and no kettle in the room to boil water. Washing basin design is not good that water retained in the basin.

The room was absolutely beautiful! Perfect location (view of the canal) and the breakfast was quaint and delicious. I also enjoyed the rooftop bar and the amazing view from there. The staff were extremely friendly and the bed was incredibly comfortable with soft pillows. I will absolutely stay here again!!

The location is in the center of the old town, which is very convenient to go anywhere. Braga Old Town is small and suitable for City Walk. The hotel staff are very nice and willing to help you. Location is perfect, clean room and friendly staff. We went with our 2 dogs (no more than 15 kg each) and everything was good. For the price, being pet friendly and the Kindly staff I would 100% recommend!

Simple transit hotel in a beautiful location. Perfect place for a morning or evening walk.

The rooms were decent, but there were a few downsides. The shower temperature fluctuated between cold and hot. The air conditioning was blowing warm air, as it was centrally regulated, and despite asking if it could be adjusted, nothing changed. Far from the city, in the middle of nowhere,up on a hill, if you don't come by car, it's very difficult to find. The staff is ok, the breakfast is very poor, no vegetables,coffee is bad.The park in front the hotel is quiet and nice if the weather is ok and not as foggy and rainy as it was during our stay

Breakfast is spartan, nothing but bread rolls and fruit. Even the juice is measured out in thimble-size glasses. The rooms are in need of renovation, mine had damp patches. They also appear to have paper thin walls because I could hear everything going on outside all night. Despite all that the staff were very nice and wifi was fairly good.

This is a fun, unique hotel tribute themed rooms. Staff is wonderful. I loved their breakfast service…yiu order items and they are prrosred and served to you. The location is good too. Uber rides to special tourist attractions are reasonable from this plac. Lots of convenient snd good dining places are nearby.

Hotel is centrally located in historic city center near restaurants, shopping and sites. Very walkable beautiful city. Rooms were clean, updated, beautiful and comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Location is OK, near to train station and historical districts. However the hotel room is pretty run down, only shower gel provided, no shampoo. No other toiletries and amenities provided. It is a very basic hotel, good for those who value location.

The hotel parking is paid (€6/stay) and everything on the street is paid. It's about 15 minutes from the historic center and right in front of the Braga train station. The service was very helpful, however we had problems with the room lock and the short time we were there was spent either fixing the lock because it wouldn't read the card or because it started ringing uncontrollably.

Large rooms with city views, and despite being next to a thoroughfare and a train station, there was no noise at all during the night. Friendly staff and good breakfast.

My first time in Portugal and I am lucky to stay in Braga and more lucky to stay in Hotel Baracara Augusta. Walking distance to everything you need. Shopping, restaurants, coffee. Very generous breakfast buffet with friendly staff.

The staff was very helpful and courteous. The buffet breakfast was delicious, especially getting cake for dessert at breakfast 😋. We really enjoyed the robes. Neat, clean and an elevator.

Beautiful building with nice aesthetics. I loved the dark wooden headboard and shutters on the windows, which was very characterful. The small lounge area outside the bedroom was a nice touch. The breakfast room had large floor to ceiling glass doors that overlooked the garden, and there was a nice selection of food. A beautiful boutique hotel in a great location. My room was very comfortable, but by far the best feature was the breakfast that I was able to eat outside on the beautiful garden at the rear of the hotel.

My husband and I had an wonderful stay in this lovely hotel. We truly felt like family as the owners Anna and Antonio plus their amazing staff Yvonne, Nuno and Emilia were all very warm and beautiful people. They showed us great hospitality. The hotel is in a great location,, all the staff were friendly , from reception, dinner and breakfast , dinner was tasty and nice preparation, breakfast had everything you could wish for, the room had a amazing view , from the restaurant as well and around the hotel. I can't wait for my next visit .

Hotel do Lince Braga is surrounded by nature near Serra da Falperra, yet only minutes from Braga. The renovated rooms and cozy common areas, with a fireplace, library, and games space, are very comfortable. The spa with pool, sauna, and steam bath is perfect for relaxing, and the restaurant offers good variety along with a nice buffet breakfast. A great option for a quiet stay in Braga.

This is not a four star hotel, although it has the facilities the hotel inside is dated and not well maintained. The staff were great, however the room was dated and badly needed a renovation. The noise outside from teenagers on motorbikes and cars was hardly the hotel’s fault but it was lucky I wasn’t having an early night. A step back in time to the 1970’s the decor is unbelievably dated for example dark brown walls, dark green scratchy carpets, moth eaten curtains. Poor lighting throughout the hotel and insufficient charging sockets and electrical plugs.

We had a pleasant stay at Mercure Braga Centro Hotel. Location was perfect, breakfast was very good, room was spacious and staff were very attentive.

It is the best-located hotel to access tourist attractions. It is a modern hotel, but it doesn't seem to be a very new building. Parking lots are provided for a fee. It is a hotel that is enough for travelers to stay for a day comfortably.

The hotel is in an excellent location. Very central. However, the room needs refurbishment. It needs painting. The curtains need replacing as they have holes in them. They only provided one towel per person, which had to be used as a face towel and a bath towel.

This Hotel was definitely a Hot Spot 15-20 years ago, now it’s a bit gone-by with single glazed Windows -the cars are 3 floors down but can hear them driving over the cobblestones-, the design is definitely not updated and there are a bit too many stains on the carpet in the room…. Overall Good Service & the Breakfast was well worth it!

Stayed here for 2 weeks for a work placement program. The place was good for the most part. The rooms did feel a little basic in the sense that for a 2 bed room the bed desk was small and there were very few charging outlets. However, I was pleased with the hotel overall. The bed was comfortable enough to sleep in whenever you were very tired, the rooms were kept clean and everything worked as expected...

I like this place, space full room, large bathroom, cute terrace. Great location! Breakfast (buffet type) was not bad but I prefer to eat in cafe. There were breads, Portugal croissants, jams, cornflakes with milk, yogurts, harm and cheese, cake, peach from jar and fresh bananas and oranges.

Unbeatable location, great views, and a delicious breakfast, although limited in options and slow to replenish. It was very hot at night because they didn't indicate that the air conditioning wasn't set to cold. The hotel was generally well-maintained and attractive, and the spa area was pleasant.
