Great welcome, hotel was full of happy atmosphere. (Halloween time!!) Busy pub and the food was really tasty.
The staff were friendly, they had a pool steam room and sauna which was great and included, no extra cost
Comfortable stay great pool Good location good breakfast no decaf tea or coffee bathroom furniture old and worn no hand soap or shower gel in dispensers great swimming pool however showers smell and of mould and drains better not to use them steam room good in general staff friendly and helpful
Katie & Georgia at the desk we’re superb & martina at the pool- grand place to stay
Nice and quiet, quite a long walk to town but there is a bus. Pub has decent food. Breakfast is a ripoff.
Very nice! Friendly staff. Would recommend and would stay again when we visit in the future.

Old Ground Hotel, Ennis1 / 30

Ennis, O Connell Street (in the centre) 🧭 Map
The hotel itself is quite a historic building and I do like the atmosphere. The bathroom was modern and shower very good. However, no toilet roll holder and soap/shampoo dispensers not working. Food was ok, nothing spectacular. Though my server was really pleasant and friendly. Down side was the lift was broken and i had to haul baggage up stairs with no offer of help from reception. The heating...
Had a wonderful stay at the Old Ground Hotel in Ennis. From the moment we arrived, everything felt welcoming and well looked after. The hotel is full of character, beautifully maintained, and the service was warm, professional, and attentive throughout. The absolute highlight of our stay was the resident cat—incredibly friendly and affectionate, always ready for a cuddle. It added such a special,...
Warm welcome, room upgrade, great supper despite late arrival and wonderful breakfast and the most amazing Christmas decorations
There was a rim of dust in the rooms along the walls No facility for guests to sit have a drink and chat The bar was. Used for food and it was busy as food was good But no option to book in bar but.there was for some . Not for anyone under 65 No entertainment Not enough seats in foyer and what was there was grubby Car park excelence Near to shops Tu he staff were very young and not trained ...
I recently stayed at the Old Ground Hotel in Ennis and was thoroughly impressed. The hotel has a wonderful mix of history and comfort., the old manor house setting gives it real character, yet everything feels modern and welcoming. My room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable, making it easy to relax after exploring the town. Staff throughout the hotel were consistently friendly and professional...
The Old Ground Hotel for service and comfort. The staff at The Old Ground Hotel were simply amazing. The most wonderful hospitality was granted to us and it stands out in my experience across any hotel I’ve stayed in, in a long time. In fact I picked The Old Ground as I had stayed here for a family reunion exactly ten years ago. We arrived late and then could not drive through Ennis due to diversions...

Ennis, The Square (in the centre) 🧭 Map
A nice hotel. I got a double room where it was outside continuously buzzing from somewhere. Also, in the night. It was very warm inside. Good breakfast till 10.
Nice enough place, fairly basic, great pub in the lobby. Very close to the town centre.
Central hotel. The hotel is very central to the town but lacking atmosphere. The executive room was very basic and bland so not worth the extra money you pay for it. The room was also very stuffy but if you opened the window you had to put up with the noise of the buses outside at the bus stop for most of the night. The staff in the bar and at breakfast were very friendly. Overall a little disappointed...
One night stay We only stayed one night on our way to Shannon airport. Location was great - in the centre of town. Staff were friendly, room was clean and comfortable
Great hotel My wife and I arrived for a 3 night stay. The hotel was spotless. The staff at reception were so friendly and professional. We booked a Deluxe room which was fantastic and absolutely spotless. We ate at the hotel for 2 nights and found the food and service excellent. The breakfast was equally as good.. the hotel is situated 2 mins from main shopping . The other night we ate in a pub called...
Wonderful Hotel, Great Service The staff were incredibly kind and assisted me with the local bus and train timings, even flagging that bus fare is cash-only and they broke my large bill. Top notch service from everyone that I interacted with at the hotel. It was very humid and although there is no a/c, my room had a fan. The bed was very comfortable and it was one of the most spacious rooms I stayed...

The stay was amazing, my girlfriend and myself loved every second of the stay. The staff were all so lovely. We went for a morning Spa and I had Courtney I believe for a hot stone massage. She did an amazing job and was very polite and nice to speak to. 10/10 stay and we look forward to staying again. Also met and had a chat with who I believe might be the Spa manger (forgive me I forgot his name)...
I had a lovely one-night stay as a birthday treat. I got a nice deal on b&b with an evening meal, so it was great value. The whole place was lovely and comfortable. The spa area is fab with a lovely outdoor jacuzzi, the room was comfy and quiet, the restaurant served lovely food (my only criticism would be that when I ordered a drink with my meal I had to wait a while as it came from the bar, in a...
Rooms spacious and very clean, large king bed was two beds pushed together and found the middle bit uncomfy at times. Great service in the restaurant and reception very pleasant and helpful. Food was delicious. Location nice and quiet and only 7mins drive from city centre but not a lot nearby. Would stay again no worries
I don’t normally write reviews but I stayed here for my birthday weekend and genuinely couldn’t fault a thing. We were welcomed with a complimentary “Happy Birthday” plate and card in the room, which was such a thoughtful touch. The spa and leisure facilities are spectacular, and I had so many friendly encounters with other guests who were clearly enjoying their stay as well. The warm, relaxed atmosphere...
A wonderful stay from start to finish. The lobby was cosy and welcoming, setting the tone as soon as we arrived. A special mention has to go to Fred in the bar — he was absolutely fantastic, friendly, attentive, and made the evenings even more enjoyable. The atmosphere throughout the hotel was warm and relaxed, and the service was excellent. We felt very well looked after and would happily return....
The hotel was decorated for Christmas & looked lovely, the room was clean & comfy & had everything we needed. The staff were particularly friendly & cheerful

Booked the junior suite. Got use of the executive lounge for a lovely coffee and cookie. The room was lovely with amazing views of the river and city. We also availed of the hotel steam room and pool which was so relaxing.
I recently stayed at the Limerick Strand Hotel and had a fantastic experience from the moment I arrived. Sophie at check-in was absolutely amazing, warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. She set a great tone for the stay. The room was spotless, comfortable, and well-equipped, with a lovely view over the city. The leisure facilities were a real bonus. The location is perfect too, just a short walk...

It is a fantastic hotel and super convenient to just potter about the city from
Room was clean and comfortable Location had plenty of options for food and entertainment and drink
Comfortable room. Very nice lounge/restaurant. Nice breakfast buffet. Pleasant staff. Great location. Lack of room amenities. One bath towel, a shower towel and one hand towel (single traveler) no facecloth. Bottled water but no coffee or other offerings. No soap or shampoo/conditioner.
I stayed here for a couple of nights while travelling for work. Overall, it’s a good hotel — clean, comfortable, and in a convenient location. The check-in process was easy, with the option to check in prior to arrival and complete self check-in on site. A staff member was available and very helpful, which made for a smooth arrival experience. The only real issue during my stay was with the restaurant...
Only found a single power outlet in the room, had to place the kettle on the floor..
Limerick Short Stay A great spot to be able to walk into Limerick city centre, the on-site amenities are also good - sauna, pool, gym etc. Declan on the front desk was very helpful in getting checked in and sorted for a nights stay. Would recommend this hotel.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect for exploring the area. I would definitely recommend it and would happily stay here again.
The only thing that affected my experience is that in the room there was no smart TV in room 309.So that means we couldn't not Netflix as we planned.Beside that everything was great.
great location and close to all you need. near the main street but very quiet too
Great location, exceptional staff, clean and great location
The room had a wonderful view! The hotel staff were very kind! The hotel was close to town, making it easy to get around! I'd love to come back again if I can.

We had an absolutely incredible stay at The Savoy. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely looked after. A massive thank you to Sarah and the entire team for going above and beyond to make our visit so special. The attention to detail and the warm hospitality really set this hotel apart. We can’t wait to come back!
Fantastic 5 star hotel. We booked a night away myself and wife to relax and unwind after Christmas. We met with Sarah on arrival - very welcoming and warm and we instantly knew we were in a hotel that the staff looked after guests ( unlike other 5 stars we have been to) . Stayed on the 5th floor , room was spotless, and oh my god the pillows! The best night sleep I ever had . Dinner in Hamptons was...
Great location in central Limerick, hotel is of a very high standard, rooms quiet, beds comfortable, very clean. Executive lounge was much appreciated. Staff were so kind and helpful. Parking is only €12 per day for Q Park when hotel validates ticket. The only complaint would be that the soaps and diffusers around the hotel have a very overpowering smell, although these are Rituals and high quality
This is my third stay at The Savoy. The rooms are clean. The location is great. Close to everything.
We booked in for the night to celebrate my husband’s birthday. The room was lovely and spacious. When we checked in we met a lovely young chap working there while studying at Shannon hotel Management he will make a great manager in the future. We didn’t eat in the hotel but we were happy with our stay
This is a beautiful hotel and we had a wonderful and comfortable stay! We all would have liked to stay longer.

Location was excellent and in town but unfortunately the room could Benifit from sound proofing windows . I could hear everything from pedestrians to pedestrian traffic light noises for most of the night .
I m surprised to see no mini fridge in the room when I checked in and I had to request for it. It spent over an hour for them to deliver the fridge to my room in late afternoon. My son dropped a toy one day and he accidentally found some snacks packing trash, which were not generated by us, under the beds...toilet cleaning is ok but they didn't refill the smallest towel every day. Also, they sometimes...

Excellent. Regularly return to stay there. Warm, comfortable hotel with parking. Staff always friendly and the rooms are spacious and well designed.
Great location and very nice hotel with beautiful rooms and facilities.
Nice hotel, very clean and free parking space. Fully recommend.
The property was very nice. Parking was tight, but we were able to find a spot in the garage. This was planned as a stop along the way on our tour of Ireland, but we found Limerick to be a fun town to visit.
Very nice Hotel with very helpful staff. Room was very comfortable with a nice coffee machine but no fridge. Parking was very easy as it is under the Hotel.
Great hotel for a group of friends, had triple & twin room, very spacious. Lunch in the bar was very nice. The only negative is the stairwell to bedrooms very poorly signposted, and the lift can be slow

No.1 Pery Square Hotel & Spa, Limerick1 / 23High rating

Limerick, 1 Pery Square, Georgian Quarter, V94 EKP9, Ireland (in the centre) 🧭 Map
Stunning hotel , fantastic & helpful staff , I’ll be back soon
It's a lovely little hotel on a quiet street near a park, a short walk away from lots of great food and drink -- faves include the Copper Room, the Glen Tavern & Freddies, and in the other direction, Bobby Byrne's. Also, as this is No 1 Pery Square, do go see the museum at No 2 Pery Square, so you know some of the history of the area.
Must Stay! Amazing staff, comfortable room and bed! Excellent food. Must stay.
Pure Irish charm at No. 1 Pery Square This extraordinary boutique hotel operates out of an extensive Georgian townhouse adjacent to a park. For 3 days we enjoyed a sumptuous room (the Park Room) and delicious breakfast choices. Charmingly decorated, the place is comforting and supported by a friendly helpful staff. Our fault, but we didn't try the spa. Highly recommended, we'd stay here again if we...

Great National South Court Hotel, Limerick1 / 30

Limerick, Raheen Roundabout (5 km from centre) 🧭 Map
Travelled with a sports team to Limerick for a tournament and stayed at the South Court Hotel. We were very well looked after by the friendly staff here. Large spacious rooms, ample parking, excellent breakfast and dinner options with a nearby convenience store and take aways 2 minutes walk away..Close also to the motorway so no need to drive through the city to reach the hotel. Top class stay.
Perfectly fine hotel for price point. Rooms slightly dated but very clean and well sized
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was tired and worn. Room was large and bare while the bathroom was small and awkward.
Room was enormous and the staff were lovely. Gym wasn’t the best.
Some mark for road parking is not visible enough. However the room is clean.
Had a great time visiting Limerick for the very first time. The staff were super helpful and I'm impressed by the room service where leaving the room later in the day still was serviced and bedsheets made, towels refreshed when I came in the evening. 5/5 from my end

Average stay Overall an ok stay. Room outdated and for the price I think better hotels in Limerick.
Have started here before, definitely will stay again. Location, staff, food, and the gym, pool was all excellent
Simple and easy. Will stay here again.
It was suitable for our purposes but the hotel room itself had loose tiles on the floor in the bathroom and the carpet was stained in several areas. The hallway had a stale smell.

loud party in garden below along with unruly guests/party members running through halls pounding on doors and then running off (for hours). Called downstairs twice and was basically told it would be over in a few hours and we could be transferred to other side of hotel. Our son was already asleep and it would not have made sense to wake him up and pack up everything.
Great price an good service in lovely hotel, swimming pool, sauna, gym and much more, really recommend this place, not far from city centre but still quiet,.
The hotel is clean and comfortable & the staff are lovely. They also have a gym, pool, sauna, steam room & hot tub which are clean & well staffed. I would definitely stay again.
The hotel has a rather classy appearance. The staff were incredibly attentive, and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was very comprehensive. You'll need a car to get around, but free parking is available.
The breakfast was unforgettable.
The hotel is situated on the east side of Limerick, offering convenient and free parking, with convenience stores, fast food outlets, and a petrol station nearby. The room was quite spacious, and the large and small bed setup was good, though the overall decor and facilities were a little dated. Breakfast was a full English breakfast, and it tasted good.

Very big room and comfortable with a great shower. Elevator was amusing - operated by a "sloth" (ie, it was very slow). Breakfast was great, with fabulous staff. Options for food was very limited - a bit expensive in the hotel and not much nearby.
Castle Oaks was lovely and would recommend, however the staff, especially Josephine made it fantastic, so lovely and kind and great with the kids. Alex was great, saw a tired and hungry family and jumped in to support to make it easier. Can’t recommend the place enough
Breakfast for us was not free. But saying that it was excellant. So much so we had a few evening meals there as well. Service was friendly and attentive. Every ony frow reception staff, waiters/waitresses and cleaners were all very curtious and helpful.
Staff were lovely, room was clean and welcoming. Parking was good. Interior of the hotel is very dated in places
Thourghly enjoyed my visit. Would loved to have access to real coffee (not instant) in room or lobby
Comfortable large room, unfortunately no hair dryer provided. Awful shower water pressure was very low.
