Good afternoon everyone. In June 2021, we rested on the Volkhov. 2 bases were changed in a week, so there is a comparison. We rented a house on the base of Abyrvalg with amenities for a family of 2 adults and 2 children. Upon arrival, I immediately did not like the poor communication of the administrator. She did not answer our questions willingly, but there were many of them. Only upon arrival we found out that the houses do not have a refrigerator, stove and microwave (they are for an additional fee). In the houses, the shower is really right above the toilet. The doors are all broken and can only be opened or closed by force. The lack of drinking water did not bother us, because we always take it with us. My child liked the administrator's phrase "This is a base for people like your dad" (Yes, I'm a fisherman, but the family should not suffer from a lack of comfort). We stayed there for 2 days, only because of friends renting a house there. Friends also did not like the communication of the administrator. And next time they will consider the option of another base. They paid extra for the refrigerator, and they brought the tiles with them. The sound of cars and dust from the bridge, as well as the smell of fertilizer from the fields, completed the picture of the base. I will not write the names of the first base, so as not to be considered an advertisement. But for the same money you get a really good holiday. Facilities, a refrigerator, a stove, drinking water, a playground, a place for swimming and birds singing there are already included in the price. But everyone has their own choice.
