At the entrance to this catering establishment, the smell of rotten meat beat off all appetite. For breakfast, porridge, pancakes and scrambled eggs, which seems to be quite a lot in terms of quantity. In short, so-so. But Russian Railways workers live for weeks and probably don't complain.

Upd: from 01/26/22 the other switch is intact, the toilet is staggering. The staff is friendly and accommodating, they answered all the questions that arose. In the corridor, in addition to the cooler, there is free thermopot, tea, sugar. They can bring dinner to the room even if the cafe is no longer open, but you need to warn in advance that you will be after 17 hours, they will include it in the room price. Cafe ventilated, not a restaurant, but you can eat. Pancakes are delicious. Butter on bread is more like margarine.

The hotel staff are friendly, but completely uninitiated. Single room costs 2000, but the price is too high. The room is clean, but the shower needs to be repaired, there is a hole in the shower door, thank God, not through, the window doesn’t open well, and the room is stuffy, it’s time to replace the old rugs on the floor, as well as the bedding, it has already faded from washing.

The place is one of a kind. Of the pluses - close to the station, relatively (with the old hotel "Regina") inexpensive, the rooms are quite large in size, there are bathrooms, it's quite warm inside. Let's move on to the cons. Firstly, the hotel is on the second floor, where you have to climb the metal stairs in the annex. Secondly, the porch in front of this extension had not been cleared of ice for a long time. Thirdly, the word "soundproofing" is clearly not familiar to either the owners or the builders: the TV in the next room is sometimes heard better than the voice of the interlocutor on your phone. Fourthly, the administrator, she is a maid, she does not have time to do everything else. In general, it is rather disappointing to see something well conceived, but crookedly implemented. It seems that there are a lot of sockets, but there is no table, the laptop must be taken to the bed. TVs are not bad, but the remotes work like hell, and the wires hang like snot. A modern suspended ceiling was made, but one of the light bulbs sticks out of it and hits the eyes. The curtains in the shower, when cleaning, were somehow thrown upstairs, you are going to take a shower - it flows from them. The cups are beautiful, but it is inconvenient to drink tea or coffee from them. There are hangers in the closet, but they are so flimsy that even under the jacket they curl. In a word, it would be nice to apply the head and skill to the desire of the owners to make a good hotel. And so - the notorious "price / quality ratio" is on the verge of reasonable. In St. Petersburg, out of season, rooms of this level are a quarter cheaper!
