Baydar Valley
Description
The Baydar or Baydari valley sprawls for 16 km north-east in the Balaklava Raion of Sevastopol, Crimea. It is the source of the Chernaya River and the location of the Chernaya River Reservoir, Sevastopol's largest body of fresh water. Prehistoric menhir-statues still dot the landscape. A highway from Yalta to Sevastopol traverses the dale. The Baydar Pass connects the valley to the Black Sea coast. Most of the valley is protected as a national zakaznik.

Wonderful views of the valley and the sea, to really make the most of the trip wear comfortable shoes and take a hike up mountain. Certainly a must see for visitors to Crimea

Beautiful views of South beach, restaurant with excellent pasties on the way to the village of the valley Baydarskaya. Baidar near the wonderful Church.

With the top of the mountain offers gorgeous views of the surrounding nature. At Bajdarsky gate has a restaurant Tent serving the best pasties. Suggest to try with salmon.

Baidar valley is a wonderful place, the Crimean Switzerland, as it is called. Begin here and here goes many routes for walks in the mountains surrounding it.

Almost virgin crimean forest, for those who love it. Please, keep it away from fire especially in july and august.

Segodnya byli u vodopada Nizhniy Kubalar aka Kozyryok.
Tam voobshche ot parkovki za predelami sela Peredovoe idti minut 15 do krasiveyshego vodopada, no my poshli eshchyo dalshe primerno 3 km do istochnika Bunuku Chohrah, krasivaya tenistaya i prohladnaya tropa dazhe v silnuyu zharu kak byla v den pohoda (+32 gradusa) prozoditsya bystro, no my byli s dvumya detmi 3,7 i 4,6 goda i oni smogli poyti ves put s nami - vsego 6 kilometrov.
