The service was unacceptable bad. First they said they didn't accommodate foreigners and then there were problems with the payment. Ostrovok managed to sort out the problems with the hotel but it took time and left a bad taste in the mouth.

Hi all. Very good hostel, staff is helpful and kind. Always clean and very good. Next stop, grocery in the same house, the market a stone's throw away. It is especially pleasant that they did not kick me out after I left at night and asked to keep my things until the evening. I could not pay, but people allowed me to eat and wash before leaving,. Convenient location - the hostel is located 5 minutes drive from the airport. Polite administrator - got a place in an empty room, for which many thanks to her. The room is clean and comfortable. Two lockers per bed. The guests of the neighboring room were a little upset - after ten they spoke loudly enough and slammed the door.

The most comfortable hostel where I've been in St. Petersburg. People work here are very cute and respectful. Design is gorgeous!

Not long as good as the reviews say. It's not close to clean, but just acceptable. Mold everywhere in the bathroom and loads of insects on the walls. There's a little bit too little space in the public area for the amount of people accommodated. But you can't expect much more for this price. The staff is friendly though, and the lockers in the rooms are perfect.

This is a brilliant hostel. I was checked in by Evgenia who has superb English and great people skills. My bed (room 9) was so cosy and warm, the WiFi was great and I loved my time here. When checking out, the receptionist Vika was also so friendly and positive. A great hostel in a marvellous city.

It's a good hostel. It's organized, clean and tidy. There is a good communal area with TV, kitchen, etc. Staff is really friendly and helpful. Fair price. I guess the only problem was the room gets too hot on the summer.

Very decent and friendly place

We had a really nice stay at Stereo-Hostel. The price of a double room was very cheap and one of the best value rooms we had in Russia. Friendly staff but somewhat lacking in English skills. The leafy area of the hostel is super nice: right next to a lovely park and local people are clearly wealthy and happy. Perhaps a 12-15 minute walk to the city centre.

I was traveling on the Trans Siberian Railway and made a quick stop here where I stayed for 1 night. Perfect location since I arrived early in the morning and left at midnight. They have a kitchen where you can cook. Toilets are showers were clean enough.

And extremely clean- which half the hostels in Moscow don’t care about. It was a little crowded for the amount of space but it was the worldcup when I stayed there.

Hostel Boxtel is a lovely place. It is very clean and tidy. The staff are friendly and helpful. Would definantly recommend as it is both affordable and comfortable. The beds are large for a single bed and it is hand have your our private space compared to a typical hostel.

Very good hostel. The staff is friendly, everything is clean and everything you need is there. You can rent a bath towel for 100 rubles, you can rent slippers. I was very satisfied and would gladly visit again if necessary.
