A rather unusual place with virtually no time-limited access. Interesting, unique tours, activities and additional ways to stop. There are some problems of an organizational nature.

A large part of the castle consists of the ruins. The inhabited space is conserved rather than restored. Cleared a small part of the dungeon.
The castle has a rich cultural life. Folkloric concerts, historical reconstructions and festivals held by the local community, almost a community. Part of the premises is the artist's workshop, part Museum. Guided tours are available, but their level is unstable and strongly depends on the provided guide.

Unfortunately, the castle wasn't much left, but the owners are doing everything possible for restoration,a lot of volunteers-good people who are willing to help the project.Always happy to help.Trying to attract tourists, there is a Museum with interesting finds.Often hold different kinds of events interesting for both children and adults.
There are stables with horses, where can I buy.
I hope that the castle will be able to restore.

Historical place belongs to the Russian Orthodox Church, which does nothing to restore the castle. Trying to maintain the castle "Fund House-castle". In the stables of the 16th century on a post a couple of horses. In the photo the horse Eulogy, which 7 years ago was saved from putting into the meat schoolgirl Anna. Bought from the owner and now he lives in the stables.

Yesterday visited this attraction of Chernyakhovsk. A wonderful place. Good-natured people. Wonderful girl-guide named Galya relaxed and very interestingly told us about the history of Enstaberga. It was interesting. Thanks a lot!?

The castle left a mixed impression. It was strange to see the Russian people, for many years, trying to save the German past. Thus according to them, without the sponsorship of the state although the castle is on many guidebooks and maps. These guys felt sorry, looking at the fervor with which they try to keep grains rich past and tell about it to visitors. Sad to hear that "and then we dug, because we need to produce equipment, but no money for that". Thank you so much for being such a handful of volunteers are supporting a castle.
