- Very noisy, I couldn’t sleep cause some repair work in the building was going on. I called the receptionist and he said there is nothing he could do.
On the pros:
The hotel is new.
Everything is clear.
Nice rooms.
5 minutes from the metro.
Nearby cafes / restaurants and supermarkets.
Friendly staff at the reception.
On the cons:
Noise isolation is weak. You can hear someone talking at the door in the hallway. The furniture can be heard moving. (This did not bother us, because it was once and not for long).
Also, the hotel is apparently still being completed, from 9:00 there may be sounds of construction. Maybe it's from the street.
One of the three rooms had a shoe spoon and a telephone.
And now about the unpleasant moments and not a good impression of the hotel.
We arrived for check-in at about 15:00, we were given the room we had booked. The window in the room was broken, it did not close.
We informed the reception about this and went for a walk.
We returned around 5:00 pm and the window was still broken.
Having contacted the reception again, we realized that the girl had forgotten about our problem. She wrote down our application and we went for a walk.
Returning at about 21:00, the window was still broken.
At the reception they said that they would now fix it and started calling the master.
In the sense of being repaired? I came to rest and not wait for my window to be repaired.
In the end, she was told that the window could not be repaired and we were given a different number upon request.
The room turned out to be of the same category, but completely different from the one we had booked.
Going down to the reception again, I demanded to change the number. There was already another girl and she replaced it with the desired number. After that, we were able to rest.
In principle, the staff tries, cleaning the rooms every day. You can also ask for glasses and other dishes.
The hotel is nice and not expensive, if not for this window situation it would be perfect.
There is no telephone to communicate with the reception - to solve emerging problems, you must personally go down to the first floor. Couriers are not allowed upstairs, you need to go down and meet in person.
The staff either does not remember the requests, or spits on them: asked for a spoon for shoes and a second blanket, waited 5 hours - they did not bring it, went downstairs, asked again, explained that it was very necessary, only then the request was granted. The next day I asked for tea bags, because ended - no one brought, later again went downstairs and reminded - ignored.
Poor lighting in the corridors of the 7th floor, there are 2 separate buttons for 4 elevators - you have to press both for the elevator to arrive faster.
A boorish watchman sits at the reception and does not let any couriers, arranging a "security circus" referring to the "bosses". The hotel is a "scoop in European renovation".
