Very nice and cozy place! Always clean! Friendly staff and aromatic cuisine.
They have a website on Instagram, the Sovetskaya Hotel, where you can see it from the inside, as they say. There is a beautiful cafe-restaurant-bar on the 2nd floor.

The hotel has not changed since the times of the Soviet Union! So, at least it seems. Location was crucial for us.

The shower in the room is broken, there are cockroaches running around in the room, there is no shower gel.

If you are missing the sovjet era this is the place to be, it is like staying in a museum, every part of the hotel will have its own story to tell, you get the impression that in its time it was the place to be for hight positioned people,

Good location, but the renovation is old, all the appliances in the bathroom are leaking, renovation is needed !! The staff is good, the cafe is delicious, but we won't come again.

There is a TV with a picture tube in the room for 3000 rubles. No wi-fi. Breakfast limit 200, if exceeded - pay. Are you seriously? The sockets in the room have been placed so that you will suffer while you find them and when you will use them. I understand that the room is economy, but this is somehow too stingy.
