Marko Hotel in Nizhniy Novgorod

+ Personal was very good and kind, rooms were clean and the cleaning lady was very helpful.
- You order breakfasts, which I really like but portions were not enough for me to be full, for my gf they were more than enough, depends on the person.

+ The stay at Marko Hotel was absolutely wonderful. I would highly recommend this place. perfect location, close to attractions, shops ,bar and restaurants. The service was impeccable and attentive. Breakfast was absolutely delicious. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Everything was perfect from check in and check out. I would like to thanks one of the staff name Nikita who provided exceptional service.

Very polite staff! The girls are happy to help with any request. Perfectly clean bed linen, a luxurious blanket and two pillows of different sizes - it's cool! The bathroom is also sparkling clean, a mirror with lighting, a couple of towels and, what is important for me, there is a towel for the feet.

Marko is a new hotel. The room is small but clean with a modern interior. Breakfast with a choice of 2 or 3 courses. The choice must be made upon check-in. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel. The location near Marko is excellent - the historic city center and the promenade. It houses restaurants, cafes and bars. The hotel itself is not easy to find, as it is on a hill behind other buildings. There are not enough pointers to the hotel. Of the obvious drawbacks - the keys to the room are constantly demagnetized and, having barely climbed to the upper floor, you have to go down again to magnetize the key at the reception, and then go upstairs again. The staff is hospitable and helpful, ready to help in this situation.

The hotel is renovated, nice, large and clean rooms. Friendly staff. Of the minuses, we traveled with a dog, that the Hotel in the list of amenities allows settlement with animals, with breeds larger than a dachshund, it is better not to call in. Because the owner does not really welcome animals in the room after renovation. We were asked to go on an excursion with the dog. The receptionist was afraid that we would leave the dog alone in the room. As a temporary inconvenience, there is no dining room. the renovation is not over yet.
