The hotel where we stayed is located in the city center, called Pereslavl
Comparative livability is noted in a very small square in the very center - the rest of the streets and squares are simply in a terrible state, there are no pedestrian paths forced to move along the carriageway of highways (while the flow of tourists is very large), the grass along the city roads has not been mowed for centuries , (there is a photo) in the yards one can see desolation and lack of garbage...
But everything was spoiled by this moment. We come to see the city and the sights, not to run in search of food. In the end, the same wonderful girl from the reception found us a place to eat, 15 minutes from the hotel

The property altogether is very nice: quiet little garden, with statues and real Christmas-tree (esp good, as it was New Year). It is close to both Veskovo (museums of Botik and others) and Pereslavl-Zalessky center
Next to property there is very nice monastery, with beautiful garden and pond. I liked to walk there in the morning. Few options, but they can customize dishes if you ask them
At least carpet would have helped, in my opinion. Also, if you have no internet access, get directions before your departure to Pereslavl: hotel is not easy to find
9.5 points on Booking in 2020 stand for cosy placement, nice staff and gorgeous meal. Won't regret staying.
