Hotels in Alcaniz

Quit and clean room, amenities were good. Breakfast was super. Hotel location is fine with parking for guests. Hotel not located in inner city, although I never ever recommend anyone to drive to inner city, parking place is really terrible inside city. Staff is friendly and responsible. Highly recommended overall.

Oh dear, very poor breakfast I'm afraid. 2/10 at best. One coffee machine, no hot water boiler, food not replenished. Rooms are fine, location is fine, food is not.

Got a phone call from the receptionist, we had left some medication in the room, receptionist found my number, added international dialling code for the UK , travelled back 160 km to pick up medication, we couldn’t thank her enough

I can't complain about anything; the hotel has all the services and facilities in very good condition. The rooms are spacious and clean. It's still a 4-star hotel and they're well-appointed.

The location is absolutely beautiful. While it was difficult to get there without a car, it was worth it! Tony is awesome!

Very good standard. We had a delux double on a corner on the third floor. The bed was excellent and so was the room. We also ate at the restaurant and found the food and service superb. If you are into staying at castle hotels then go here.

From start to finish a great experiance All staff Incredibly motivated to ensure your stay was perfect. Wonderful large, quiet room with a great view. Cafeteria and bar served snacks and light meals all day which was a bonus as you used to have to wait until 8.30 to get food. Breakfast was excellent. Will most certainly return one day .

Phenomenal, of course. Super relaxing, gorgeous ambience, an absolute treat. We ate twice in the cafeteria which was really good. Would have liked to stay a week but we'd be way beyond our budget.

Nice setting. The rooms are in a new building and you don't get to see any of the original sections unless you join a tour. I did not join the tour so cannot comment. But overall not so much to see. Honestly slight disappointment for a "castle" stay

Having stayed at 4 Paradors this week, Lorca, Cuenca and siguenza, I was beginning to think that the Paradors had become just another dull hotel chain. Alcaniz changed that impression, brilliant staff who were really interested in their jobs and obviously very proud of what they were doing. Immaculate rooms, faultless service, marvellous food served with pride and panache. The parador itself is stunning...

For us, it wasn't a stay that met our expectations. The price-performance ratio was high. 135 euros for a double room was very limited. Old furniture, mediocre mattress quality, and very low-quality shower soaps. For 135 euros, I think details should be better considered. The hotel entrance smelled like sewage (perhaps due to a leak), which they compensated for with a lot of air freshener. The pool...

Luxury hotel, great value for money! A warm welcome from the host/owner (who also speaks good English)! The hotel is within cycling distance of the charming old village of Alcañiz, with many lovely terraces, cafes, restaurants, etc. Several flat cycling and walking routes surround the hotel. Excellent small hotel in Central plaza. Nice single room with good views. Decent breakfast included in price. Helpful and friendly staff. All good!

Great prices. Excellent food. Centrally located next to the Cathedral of Alcañiz.

Excellent tapas, pinchos, wine, and coffee, and always service with a smile. One of my favourite spots in Alcaniz. Am looking forward to trying the restaurant soon!
