VUELING delayed my flight so we spent 2 nights here. It was San Juan, and it was super fun with people dancing every night, watching firework etc. And the food is nice, and the chef even kindly recommended me what to take because I don’t know too much about the food in Catalan. Over all super nice experience, the location is close to the beach. It would’ve be better if the rooms are cleaner

Very close to the beach, the hotel has parking space but you need to pay for it at your own expense The bed in the hotel is quite comfortable. The breakfast is pretty good. Overall it’s good. There is a train station at the door, which is directly accessible and convenient for entering the city.

Because of a flight cancellation, Iberia booked nearly all the passengers from this flight into this hotel. Although we arrived late in the evening, the manager had a buffet meal ready for us and then they registered us. This was appreciated by everyone. Our room was clean and comfortable. After our flight was canceled, the airline put us up at this hotel, about 45 minutes from Barcelona airport. We arrived after 10:00 pm expecting that any food options would closed, but to our surprise, we were welcomed to a buffet that included a good selection of main dishes, sides, salads and desserts. The food was decent enough, especially after a long day… not fabulous but not terrible either....

Excellent clean n near to train station for airport. Only thing missing was a kettle we had to buy one for our room they don't supply one . Strange .. but ay ho we sorted it other wise fantastic place to stay . I will deffo go back thier .

The staff on reception are amazing . I have been there many times and been treated great . I selected a family room as it was all that was available . I didn’t like the room or it location . But I guess it was just bad luck as hotel fully booked . First time it’s ever happened

Great place and location to stay. Staff were all helpful and nice. The pool is not heated and at end of day it’s very cold. Got the half board but The greasy buffet food made me sick everyday so stopped eating there. Ask about the added fees for water and drinks before ordering. Everything went very well. The hotel was clean and staff was friendly. Special thanks to the room cleaner. The breakfast was huitelee good but it would have been nivelrikko to have freskot berries.

Everything was perfect! From taste to presentation. Service was really professional. The best meat I had in a while. Maybe the dessert selection could improve. Though having a sorbet was a plus, for sure!

I had a delicious goats cheese salad with a beautiful glass of wine in his restuarant. Great service, delicious food. What more can you ask for?

A quiet place with a really nice host. The rooms are well-equipped and spacious enough. There are a couple of food stores around and a parking 100 meters away that always has free spaces.

I have been to Hotel Antiga a few years ago and It was a great two night stay. The hotel has a certain tranquil vibe to it that made my stay both pleasant and unique. I really hope to get another chance to get there soon.

Came here for the High Rockabilly festival. Hotel very nice and clean, lovely pools with plenty of sunbeds. Staff very helpful. Rooms are nice and spacious, stayed self catering. Small cook stove, no problem. Fridge in room. Plenty of towels. Short walk to the beach and busy shops/restaurants and bars. Downside.... room faced the train station and the noise from the trains all day can be quite annoying...

We stayed at Hotel Solimar in Calafell (rooms 343 and 332, from the 16th to the 26th) and had a fantastic experience. From the owners who took time and time again making sure everything went - was perfect, to the kitchen, restaurant and cleaning staff, everyone was kind and attentive. Warm, family vibe, top notch.

I always stay at the Solimar for the Hogh Rockabilly festival it’s has a great location central to all amenities and close to the beach but small enough for the personal touch, so you can relax the food buffet is a good selection and very good desert rays each day. I've stayed at this excellent hotel. I've stayed there more than 10 times. The service hasn't changed over the years and is top-notch. The bed linens and mattresses are excellent, ensuring a wonderful night's sleep. The toiletries are excellent and of the highest quality. They have everything from toiletries to shaving products. We had a lovely clean room overlooking a beautiful sandy beach. All the staff were lovely and we took full advantage of its lovely proximity to the beach and long promenade walks. The train station is quite close so took excursions to the other resorts either side as well. We would certainly go back there again.

Excellent standard of room - beautifully presented, very comfortable and clean. Great views out over the beach. The reception staff were brilliant. Each one that I dealt with was extremely helpful and did everything they could to make our stay as great as possible.

When we checked in we didn’t get the room we paid for, which was a higher superior room. After discussing with the front desk they reluctantly gave us the upgrade.

A great complex especially with the price too! The 3 swimming pools are brilliant and open 10am-8pm. We had a wonderful week at Camping Vandrell Platja in September. I was a little worried about railway noise however it wasn't a problem for us.
