Hotel Posada de Vallina by MiRa in Cordoba

Location was the best, just next to the south wall of Mezquita. You can easily walk around everywhere in Cordoba. And the restaurant/cafe/bar has nice outdoor tables.
Some downsides : room was small and had no view. Cafe/bar was always crowded with outside guests.

The hotel was in a great location to explore Cordoba on foot. The person that check us in (I should have gotten his name) could not have been more helpful. He provided us a tourist map with recommendations on places to go and things to see without being prompted. The central courtyard in the hotel was very quaint and the hotel was very clean.

Other hotel was cancelled last minute. Thankfully Posada De Vallina was able to accommodate and help. To be honest it was an amazing place to stay in a wonderful part of town. Hotel was quiet and very clean, perfect after a long day of sight seeing.

Great location and very friendly staff

Right in the centre of Cordoba next to the Mezquita-Catedral. Lovely, simple, cool, quiet room which was a perfect retreat from the 43 deg C heat. Beautiful courtyard at the centre of hotel. Really helpful staff who organised a taxi within seconds. Highly recommend

Rooms are a bit small but quite comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. This is a beautiful, elegant, and excellent budget-end hotel right in the middle of everything in Cordoba's main sightseeing district. Great food and great bars/cafes abound. (There's a lavamatica less than a 10-minute walk away, which they can point you to.)

My stay at Hotel Hacienda Posada de Vallina was a memorable one, especially for its unbeatable location and historic ambiance. Tucked right next to the Mezquita-Catedral and within walking distance of all the major sites — the Roman Bridge, the Alcázar, and the charming Jewish Quarter — this hotel places you right in the center of Córdoba's old-world beauty.

The hotel is built within a historic house, and you feel that as soon as you step inside. Exposed stone walls, wooden beams, and a beautiful glass-covered courtyard add a unique sense of character that you simply don’t get at chain hotels. It feels like staying in a small museum, but with all the comforts of a boutique property.

The front desk staff were genuinely welcoming and happy to help with everything from recommendations to storing luggage. You can tell they care about guest experience.

Of course the location is 10/10. The staff was very friendly and always helpful when I had questions. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. The big drawback is the noise which has been mentioned. As a light sleeper, I always use earplugs, but even with those I could hear ambient noises of kitchen/neighbors/etc. Smaller drawbacks were the lack of a toilet paper holder (it was just sat on the tank), lack of shelf in the shower, and only translucent sheer curtains so it was never really dark in the room. Those all seem like easy fixes that I'm surprised haven't already been addressed. Overall, 3.5 out of 5 but light sleepers beware.
