Superb hotel La Reconquista is a superb hotel and everyone was most helpful. Excellent breakfast buffet. A great base for seeing Oviedo and the surrounding countryside which is beautiful.

Unbelievable place! We were celebrating a wedding day here. Beautiful hall, cozy restaurant, delicious vine and dishes (especially lamb and scallop soup were perfect). Separate gratitude for Cristina, she is very professional and kind, and warm-hearted. Cristina helped us and supported, and was in touch with us all time! No doubt you this place is a must-have.

We had our wedding at Reconquista Oviedo in December. Everything was really great and we need to say a very special thank you to the waiter named Christina ❤️ All the guests were so happy with her and us aswell. Best service ever.

Beautiful property right in the heart of Oviedo. The staff were especially helpful and kind. The parking was very easy and access excellent. We drive a large car and found the access the best of any hotel in a Spanish city. We must mention Christina in the restaurant who made our evening delightful.

Marketed as a four-star, but it feels more like a decorative illusion of one. The hairdryer barely works, facilities look nice but function poorly, and the breakfast is modest at best with very limited choices.

We had a pleasant stay in this beautiful hotel designed by the architect Calatrava. The room was luxury and clean. We only missed a water kettle.

Was a lovely stay, very clean, lovely staff but not a four star. There wasn't any kettle (tea or coffee) in the room like most hotels do, even two stars. As a four star, I thought there would be something for the children, example: pool table and so on. But apart from that, was lovely.

Possibly the nicest staff member at reception I have ever met in any hotel anywhere. I don’t know her name but her manager will, which is the most important thing really. It's definitely worth the value. We stayed for just one night to explore Oviedo, but we truly enjoyed it. Upon check-in, we upgraded to a room with a tub and we were pleasantly surprised to see how it was designed - as if a walk-in closet with separate shower, toilet, and a nice tub with a glass window to the bedroom. The bed and the pillows were very comfortable, you don't wanna get out of this bed...

Comfortable hotel and friendly/helpful staff. The rooms are spacious and clean but we found it a little too warm. The hotel could do with an update as the decor is a bit outdated. Some very good places to eat near-by. Great to have a swimming pool/sauna available. Not close to the center but easy to get to with buses or a 20/25min walk.

Great location, 15 minutes waking from city center. Big free parking lot. The rooms are very nice. Big Confortable beds, modern decoration and very quiet. The view from our room was also quite nice. The WiFi was much better than I expected, fast enough to watch Netflix.

This hotel is very well located but because of the location we got no sleep because of the noise. It was Saturday night so maybe that didn’t help. There was no working air conditioning and it was very hot in the room but too noisy outside to sleep with the windows open. There was no safe or kettle in the room. The bed was very comfortable, the cleaning in the room was very good. The worst thing was the temperature of the room that seemed like a sauna, we had to sleep with the windows half open. We were disappointedly told that the temperature was the same for everyone and that it could not be changed. For the rest of ten and a very friendly staff.

Location is unbeatable and the staff is really into making you feel at home. The breakfast is more than acceptable unless you go for some full English, but it makes perfect sense when you come to think of it. The only thing that I did not like so much was that the rooms are in real need of some serious maintenance. That said, very recommendable if you tread on the value for money establishments area

Quite simple hotel. As a personal opinion over rated. Although breakfast is good and heating very efficient these freezing days. Tv quite small for been on the wall and the hotel has not sound proof however it is not too noisy just the traffic can be heard in the room. The hotel is perfect for a stay in Oviedo. Everyone at reception was friendly and helpful. I had to change my plans and cut my stay short but they had no problem with making that change for me. Even though I had to leave super early in the morning, they were happy to let me have breakfast before it was regularly scheduled. I really appreciated that.

This was our first time in Asturias and we found this hotel to be perfect for a short break due to its location within the city, easy car parking and also its excellent value. The location is spot on for exploring Oviedo and the surrounding are. Staff were always friendly and helpful while the 20% discount for the car park came in very handy also.

My stay, of 6 nights, didn't get off to the best of starts when I needed to spend the first hour or so of my stay having to establish that I had in fact already paid my bill. We were very happy with our stay at the Hotel Vetusta. It was good value - a very clean room, a comfortable bed, very friendly staff. An excellent location, close to the park and the old town and within easy reach of the railway and bus stations.

Cannot fault this hotel, the location is excellent and very close to old town. Rooms nice size and well appointed although maybe a set of drawers would be better. Staff are great and made us feel very welcome. The bar area is more like a cafe but again staff good and good choice of beverages

The location of this hotel is fabulous. Our room was very well appointed, with a good size fridge and loads of towels in the bathroom. Great cafe downstairs with delicious cakes, pinchos and coffee. Most of all – the staff were so warm and welcoming. Can’t recommend this hotel enough!

Great location from old town to visit walking all attractions and even a park. The hotel has a public parking place at 2 minutes walking distance. Wifi inside the rooms is perfect. Breakfast is of good quality and variety with gluten and lactose free options

There were two elevators - only one of which served the top floor (6th). It was also shared with the cleaning staff and involved a long wait. We chose the suite and regretted it. Somewhere between 4 and 5 stars but I leaned towards 5 as the staff were all very friendly. An inexpensive and tidy little hotel. Clean, modern and with a decent bathroom. Good curtains let me black out the room and outside noise, whilst not perfect, was fine for my stay. Thoroughly recommended.

Be careful to park there a car!! This is really a challange if you have any bigger car than clio or citroen c3 because the way down is very very tight :/

Ideal to be close to the institute. We went with two children and they prepared a double room for us with a sofa bed. Correct. Breakfast is on your own in the cafeteria, by the way, very friendly waitress.

I don't understand the bad opinions. The price is according to what it has and offers. Don't expect to pay little and have a jacuzzi. Basic hotel, with a corresponding price, perhaps its official price is a little high. If I stay in Oviedo again, I will definitely repeat.

It's location..location! It's all approximately 10 mins or less walk to cafe shop, market, bar, tapas, restaurant , Old Town Oviedo, mall, and taxi is just across the hotel. Room service is everyday. Housekeeper are friendly but most receptionist aren't. No body said " Thank you for staying with us!" when we left nor to the person before us.

We stayed here 5 nights and it was a great stay! The hotel is in a great location and on a quiet street. The air conditioning is great and kept us cool in the Summer. They have blackout curtains which kept out the sun and kept the room cool. The room had a hair dryer and fridge. Taxis are right out front so very convenient getting to and from the airport. Will stay here again!

The hotel is good. The staff is nice. Maybe the building needs a reform but is quiet and not expensive.
