Where to stay in Figueres

Good location, close to Dali museum. Big parking lot. We asked for a quiet room and got it. Very nice receptionist.

Hotel in need of renovation, especially the bathroom. Not very large, but enough for a couple. Room smelled of smoke, but clean.

it was a really nice trip. We were lucky with our room. With a balcony and enough space. the breakfast is alright and the service is wonderful. We really appreciated the team. It's nice to have a pool around. I'd recommend to ask for a room with balcony and maybe with a view as the rooms seem to differ in their standards. Good for a short trip.

Ok place for one night. No air conditioner working even machines was inside. Good dinner with excellent service.

Famous hotel in town with easy access to the main museums , many restaurants and shops are all within 1-5 mins walk. A pleasant stay.

Basically, enjoyed staying here. Very warm room for chilly winter nights. But lacking a kettle for making tee, and the quality of pillows is not very prime.

A hotel with a rich history. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant; the food was traditional and delicious. If you're driving, you can call ahead to ask where the hotel is. The hotel is right next to the main square, and all the major attractions are within walking distance.

Great place to stay. Nice service with a very clean room. The food is superb. 

Beautiful historical hotel with a fabulous restaurant. The only cons is the construction of the road in front of the hotel. But it is not the fault of the hotel.

A perfect hotel for our 1 night stopover before heading to France. For the value price, the room was super clean and modern. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. There was parking available next door. We also wanted to visit the Dali Museum which was a pleasant 10-15 minutes away.

Super helpful staff, humoured me with my ropey Spanish even though they all spoke English. Spotlessly clean. The fixed price dinner menu was amazing value and the breakfast buffet was terrific. All good.

Located at the city center very close to the highway and the Dali museum. Clean but small room without view. The shower was so small that I could not turn. It has good restaurant but expensive and there is a Mcdonald 500 metters. Parking cost 10 euro.

Excellent service. The facilities were great. The double bed was very comfortable and spacious.

Nice hotel with the best breakfast

We have been staying at the Hotel Emporda for many years. Not just when we are passing through, but also as a starting point for excursions and sightseeing. The rooms are simple but big enough and functional, beds are good, the bathrooms work very well and have a whirlpool bath. Air conditioning is available as well as heating in winter. Plenty of free parking on site or a secure, inexpensive underground...

Knowing the Motel, I was not surprised to receive the attention and services, both at dinner and breakfast: perfect! The room is simple but with everything you need, plus a hydro-massage bathtub. I wish the hotels in Spain where I go were like the Motel: it would be ideal. You may like the decoration or not. Beautiful hotel just on the Figueres city limits. We had a fabulous dinner at their Wine Bar restaurant, and the service was first class. Breakfast the next morning was awesome, too. This is a great place to stay.

Staff were very professional, large swimming pool with shallow pool for toddlers,secure parking was arranged on site in a locked garage, breakfast was great and room clean with balcony.

The hotel is just outide of Figueres , calm and peacefull. The room was basic but very clean and airy. The best of our stay was dinner in their restaurant !! Very good quality, perfect service we loved it. We will definitly come back when passing by .

Hotel under renovation. Restaurant closed. Uninviting bar, terribly expensive. Bed abysmal. The room was clean, though, and the shower was wonderful.

We were pleasantly surprised by how clean everything was and by the relatively spacious rooms. We’ve stayed in many ibis hotels in different countries due to frequent travel, and this one is definitely one of the best in the chain. Comfortable, well maintained, and a great experience overall. A big plus is that the hotel is very dog-friendly.

Located in the city center, the location is very convenient! The hotel also offers complimentary tea and coffee, which is a real treat. It's quiet despite being on the street, and within walking distance of shopping and attractions, making it highly recommended.

Superb! We have stayed here many times when travelling between UK and Spain. This hotel never disappoints. Lovely rooms, bar, restaurant and secure parking.

There's nothing to see or visit in the area, and the bed looked like Fred from the Flintstones. It looked like it was carved from stone.

Ibis styles was a great find. We stayed here twice on our drive further down into Spain and back again. Our stay was good with a big disappointment though on arrival because one of the twin room booked was really not at the level expected for the same price. But the nice staff quickly fixed the issue and gave us an appropriate room. Thanks

This place is great for Dali inspierd visits to the town. Although the rooms are modern, the common areas have a very upscale 70/80's vibe with all the Dali inspierd works. It is clean and very well run. We are/were here in the off-season and the price was very good. :)

Super nice, attentive service. 24 h reception. They were very helpful with some of our special needs, finding solutions where possible. The room was big with a great view on the city centre. The location is perfect. In 10 min walking you can reach all major interest points.

Hotel was ok, bathroom outdated, but the price is low. Their website said eur 50 and when we reserved by phone it was also eur 50. However, when we arrived at the hotel a couple of hours later, he charged eur 60, saying his english on the phone had not been very good (but we also speak some spanish and he confirmed the 50). The hotel had a very nice sized room. The front desk gave very friendly service. The hotel itself was, very close to the Dali Museum, ap[proximately 2 blocks away. It was a 5 minute taxi ride or a 20 minute easy walk from the train station. The proprietor was very pleasant

Deserves a higher ranking. Older but exceptionally well maintained and clean hotel. Can only assume the lowish ranking is because it's not 'modern'. This lovely, funky hotel has been one of our favorite stays while cycling Spain. We loved everything about the comfortable and spotless room, the amazing and eclectic paintings/art throughout the building, a safe place to store our bikes, and being made to feel very, very welcome by our lovely hosts, Lavinia and her colleague. The location is good and it was clean enough. The bed was really hard and the room we were in was quite noisy at night. The lady at the reception was very unhelpful and gave us lots of attitude which dampened the stay. You have to pay extra for parking which is about 5-10 min walk and if you have a dog you also have to pay extra, not a big deal but something to bare in mind. Not sure about the life...

Plaza inn welcome Very welcoming

The soundproofing is extremely POOR — you can hear noise from all over the building. On the first night, someone was being loud and disruptive in the middle of the night, and it felt like the whole hotel woke up. The location is decent and the room was clean, but it’s not ideal if you’re sensitive to noise.

Nice place in a great location. Victor provided top-notch service. Super clean rooms. I would have liked a mini fridge. I’d stay there again when I return.

The Hotel Europe Figueres was very nice, and we were very satisfied. The breakfast was delicious, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. All our questions were answered. The parking facility was very good, and you get a discount from the hotel. We can highly recommend the hotel. Thanks for everything!

Great location. Easy walk into the centre. Really helpful staff who speak French too. Basic clean room with small bathroom and air conditioning. Was staying by myself and felt safe and looked after. Breakfast was €6.50 and included toast, croissant and orange juice. All in all, welcoming and very good value.

When travelling and stepping through the doors of a two star hotel I'm always remembering that scene out of "Lord of War" - "This is your hotel. Two Stars." I don't enter with many expectations. A room with a bed, a toilet and shower and a decent breakfast. All those were met at the Hotel Europa. Some of the reviews mention a "buffet breakfast" that was obviously changed. It was okay for one night butt I don’t think we come back. The breakfast should be ready at 7.30 at 8 o clock the bread was there. The first Croissant was still frozen. Very nice people and the evening meal was okay

If you have the room on the entrance side you will not be able to keep the windows opened because of the infernal noise from outside- the hotel is on the road, the traffic is intense day and night, we slept bad because of that.. i can’t stand the air conditioner but in the end it was the only way to sleep The personal was very friendly, cleaning every day, everything was very good!

The hotel is generally fine, like all the hotels of this brand I've stayed at. Although we didn't opt ​​for breakfast this time, they have free coffee 24 hours a day, which is appreciated. Very few positives. No secure parking, nonchalant receptionist, air conditioning not working so had to sleep with window open on noisy road. Only one pillow and very thin towels. Breakfast staff just plain rude and selection really poor. Woken by group of workmen/guests screaming at each other and striking parked cars with fists outside at 5am. Hotel staff did nothing simply let it continue.
