Breakfast buffet praised for its variety and quality, including vegetarian and Asian-style options with a great city view Friendly and helpful staff frequently mentioned, with special recognition for individual receptionists Comfortable beds and well-designed rooms featuring thoughtful details like auto-dimming bathroom lights and thermostatic valves The hotel bar offers excellent handmade brick oven pizzas and a natural, herb-filled decor Central location close to cultural landmarks and public transport, helping guests explore Stockholm easily Some rooms lack windows or adequate lighting, with guests noting dim lights and no central switch Bathroom design issues such as open gaps in shower glass causing flooding and clogged rain shower heads Limited breakfast hours, with no service on weekends and additional charges for espresso and cappuccinos Noise from lobby parties and nearby karaoke bar can disrupt light sleepers or guests seeking quiet Cleaning service is minimal and not daily unless requested, which some guests found inconvenient

This is a really fun hotel. It's a boutique and has a fantastic bar downstairs that makes incredible brick oven pizza. My husband loves the rooms, there are very simple and have pegboards all around like you are living in an IKEA showroom. The music aspect of the room was incredible thanks to their relationship with Teenage Engineering. But as a women, I found the rooms a little too simple for the price. There were no tissues in the rooms, I had to use toilet paper. The soap for your hands and the soap in the shower for your body where the same. Which is normally not how I roll. The beds all dace the windows which I thought was a really cool touch. This is a cool hotel, if it's the right hotel for you. All the staff were super nice.

Breakfast buffet wasn't bad, location very convenient for Old Town, unique vibes & aesthetic compared to more conventional hotels

I really wanted to like this hotel because how it was presented on their website. But I was disappointed.

The room itself was nice. The bed is comfy and the pillows are okay. But what is really missing was the wall that should’ve been full of stuff. Like on their website. Nothing was there. It was just a boring hotel wall without art or anything. Also there is no central light switch. When you go to bed you have to turn off each light and vice versa.
Also there is no storage for your clothes? I had to live out my suitcase.

The bathroom size is okay while the shower itself was big. The problem there was that the glass wall, which divides the shower from the rest of the bathroom, was open at the bottom. That means when you shower, you flood the whole bathroom.
And you have a nice rain shower head, which is super uncomfortable to use, as 75% is clogged. And when you wash your hands, the form of the soap will eat the whole sink.

To get to the breakfast at TAK, you have to go to the ground floor and walk through the hotel lobby to take another elevator up, thats worth it, as the breakfast buffet is super good. And you get some real nice views overseeing Stockholm.

Location is okay, but if you want to start your day further away, you have to walk quite a bit to the subway.

Considering booking in Stockholm? Stop looking and stay here. The breakfast alone is worth it. I usually don’t add breakfast to my bookings or avoid rates that include breakfast as I like to get out and try local places for a light breakfast or just grab a coffee and croissant and go. But, the HoBo breakfast is phenomenal. A zen like setting and expansive options especially if you are a vegetarian, vegan or prefer gluten free. And 100% of the staff is genuinely friendly; professional yet personal.

We had a wonderful staycation at Hobo Hotel Stockholm. One of the reception staff members who welcomed us in the morning was genuinely friendly and very helpful, as were the rest of the team, which made us feel welcome right away.

The room was cozy and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed. The duvet felt incredibly crisp, and the bed was comfortable. I’m usually sensitive to the strong chlorine smell that hotel bedding sometimes has, but I didn’t notice that at all here, which I really appreciated.

Breakfast was excellent, with a great variety and a lovely touch of Asian-style options as well, such as donburi with miso soup. Enjoying breakfast on the top floor with the amazing view made the experience even more special.

We didn’t use the laundry facilities, but we thought it was a fantastic bonus that they’re available free of charge. The bar is also worth mentioning :) the handmade pizzas were delicious.

The location needs no introduction, as it’s right in the heart of the city. I highly recommend Hobo Hotel for any occasion and will definitely be coming back.

P.s one minor downside was that the remote control was completely out of battery, we couldnt turn on TV ..we were also lazy to go down to ask…😌

Overall an amazing stay! I would return.

I have to start by saying that Flo or Fiorentina at the reception Is one of the nicest people I have ever met. She was so kind to my husband and I during our stay. She was always there for help or to chat. Our room was upgraded to a corner room unexpectedly so that also made for a great trip. The breakfast is one of the best I have ever experienced in many years traveling. The view from the room top is one of the best you can get.

My biggest complaint is that there are no overhead lights in the rooms. We went to Stockholm in October so it was mostly dark by 16:00. When we arrived in the room it was hard to see some things because the lights are dim even when turned up to the highest brightness. Like others have said, this isn't a hotel for the lightest of sleepers. They do have parties in the lobbies and across the street at a karaoke bar on the weekend.
